Ok heres whats up. I registered an account with cex.io for bitcoins. After they took the funds from my card i wasnt able to access my account for 5 days. After i had access i tried to send my bitcoin to my desktop. I use electrum but they told me electrum wouldn't work with their platform. So because i had armory already installed i just switched to armory and generated my receive address. As soon as i sent the address and started to monitor the armory gui the armory db crashes but the program is still running. I already used the address to get my coin from cex.io but if armory is crashing i wont rceive my coins right ? what can be dome to recover my funds or make armory db to stop crashing as soon as i start it up
    thank you

Try to export your wallet private keys from your armory wallet.

Try to follow this while armory is running.

- Choose the wallet where you sent the bitcoin
- Click wallet properties
- Look for backup this wallet then click
- Choose the export key list then click the export key lists button.
- Under that screen enable or check these
  • Address String
  • Private Key (Plain Base58)
  • Include Unused (Address Pool)
  • at the bottom "Omit spaces in key data" is checked

Now it should show all of your addresses and private keys that you can import to any wallet like Electrum. Since you already have Electrum you can use the sweep feature you can find this feature by going to  wallet>private keys>sweep and paste your private key of the address where you sent BTC from cex.io

Update here if the exporting keys are a success or not.

You will receive the bitcoins regardless of the wallet's state because technically, bitcoins aren't really sent from wallet to wallet.
Anyways, Armory required a fully synced Bitcoin Core in order to operate. But crashes like that are often caused by corrupted database.

What is your Armory's version? 0.96.5?
You should paste the log (dbLog.txt and armorylog.txt) here and move this thread to Armory child-board for better assistance from the developer himself.
