I suggest to the new investor to invest in bitcoin than the altcoin because right now, bitcoin is on the way to increase. Although we don't know when bitcoin price will rise, if we can buy bitcoin from now, I think it is worth to hold for some time. you said top 20 but then you only recomend 4 coins but hey i also like those 4 coins that you said and ofc my favorite is the legendary bitcoin followed by etherium  .  i have xlm on the past but i dropped it and never came back  then i lately overwhelmed with litecoin  .  investment advice for 2020 will be a little tougher compare to previous advices knowing that 2020 is now being known to be the year of cryptos   . its hard to decide if you sell now or wait more and its hard to pick coins because all are pumping  .

I've seen this as like a bait for people to not just sell their information to airdrops, but because to their greediness and foolishness into believing such claims in price that aren't even realistic just yet, they tend to even invest like putting everything in their pocket in it.

there is nothing wrong to choose bitcoin at the moment, even I feel that choosing bitcoin is the best. however, if we can take advantage of the current high altcoin price increase, it will be better. actually I have ethereum which is slightly more than bitcoin, and at this time the increase in ethereum prices is enough to make me profit.

I could not agree more with you,,, we all know who come to crypto that this is a very high risk vehicle and extremely volatile asset. Yet still there are some people who think they can lower their risk and put everything in baskets. Ask Galaxy Digital, the world's biggest crypto fund, how they did in 2018 (70% loss). These were experts too. And they lost money. So the lesson is, advice is advice, but make your own decisions with money you must consider gone.

To learn both are very important thing right now but this is not the main thing that must be known by everyone. As long as someone can understand the fundamental of coin and this can be a very strong thing that must be owned by everyone. The market can go to the various direction even a good news doesn't give a small impact.
