In my opinion, USDT isn't a proper coin to invest in. You cannot expect the value of USDT to increase much. It is better to invest in a crypto coin with higher volatility such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, BNB, Stellar, LINK, etc. Indeed, the risk is bigger, but you have a better chance to take multiple profits by investing in those coins.

How can you claim it is a scam? No proof if USDT is a scam.

I believe with USDT because best option when bitcoin lower price guarantee USDT have higher price, but your profit not increase faster if hold USDT only because this coin as saving assets only when btc or altcoin correction. But better saving your assets or money in USDT than you use bank as place for your money saving.

USDT being the most used stablecoin. In cryptocurrency exchanges the most traded pair is now USDT. This is definitely a trusted coin so it is everyone's first choice. It's funny when you say USDT is a scam, because currently there are so many tokens that are paired with USDT tokens and also USDT has a good rating in cryptocurrency from the past to the present.

Is it just me or is the very idea of a USDT "stablecoin" rather pointless? I can see in theory it has some use, but in practice it is essentially just replicating a payment network like Mastercard/Visa/American Express, but with less security because it is decentralized and held on all sorts of vulnerable devices. If somebody struggles with the means to open an online bank account because they are less technically minded or don't have ready access to the internet, then chances are they will have even more trouble properly securing a cryptocurrency wallet like this. It's not necessarily a scam, it just recreates the wheel really - the whole banking system is already doing this job and probably a lot more efficiently because of decades of experience. If I'm understanding right then Bitfinex is the weakest point in the trust chain, because someone has to be a guardian of the dollar reserves.

well, yes but actually no, they can freeze your tokens whenever they want, if they think something might be up, so for me i would say that i trust them with only small amounts, not some really big ones.

Yes, In cryoto space it's very hard to trust 100% But I trust USDT anyway And used it more often. When The market price goes high I convert Few % of my altcoins into USDT and when the market goes down I buy again some potencial altcoins.
