Doesn't look professional IMO, I don't know who would agree to such a crazy design decision.

Yes, you are right.
For example:

Your bet 0.0001 and User1 bet 0.0001 HIGH

User2 bet 0.0001 LOW

If your bet win, you and User1 receive a 0.0001/2 = 0.00005 BTC both

So users bets can increase or decrease your odds while the current round is open

Actually the reason of locked thread is on site giveaway which is against forum rules. They had ran giveaway and required reply on ANN thread. Since they were not familiar with forum rules so thread locked. Hope they learned and will not repeat again.

You can bet at the very last second to minimize the risks of reducing your odds
