Gambling has many forms not just in casino you can consider a sports betting a gambling as well, cockfight, spider fight, etc. as long as you bet to win or to lose. Not all cases of person who do gambling ended up as a heavy drinker or drug addiction (I honestly don't know where did that come from), smoking a lot of cigarettes and drinking is another kind of addiction for what I've known.

Crypto won't do anything to gambling addicts since most of them are just coins and has a working blockchains, it's an addiction and needs a medical help, a doctor for sure and not a cryptocurrency.

No, crypto gambling is no different in casino gambling. You even have the luxury of time and convenience to drink or do anything you want at the comfort of your home while gambling. I see the same problem with computer addiction/online games addiction. I know a lot of friends, or even me when I was at my youth. I spend alot of times in front of conputer even for 16 hours just playing and smoking on my free time which really put me in a bad health condition.

I guess habits like this usually happens on a physical casino because some casinos have cafeteria and bar, But it depends on the person how he will  handle the situation. Drinking after a loss will not change anything it does not help you. Gambling plus alcohol addiction is not really good if you're doing it better stop. Online gambling is better you can drink even in your house and you are safe from the influence of drugs from bars.

No because other addictions are different in gambling. If you're a type of person who are easily gets interest on other things and dont have control then you might really end up addicted if you try smoking or drinking.

Gambling won't affect your health unless you don't know how to control yourself. Gambling doesn't make you addicted to drugs and drink unless you allow yourself, everything relies on how you make your decisions and actions. Gambling is fun and entertaining, it will give you satisfaction and happiness as long as you know your own limitation but if not then its possible that it can bring negative impact on your life even on your health. Addiction in gambling, drugs and alcohol are different. You can see few people addicted in gambling but aren't addicted with drugs or alcohol which means that it depends on the person if he/she is going to make it happen.

Nope,  I am too focus to deal with this stuff while playing.  After that, I tend to go home if playing in a local casino or do something else while at home.  I never drink while gambling because I know it can cause me a lot and that is one of the don'ts in gambling and I don't use drugs that are the major don'ts in my life.

The link stated above is trusted and legit information because it is a research project. Most of the adolescents are used in gambling sites, and many teenagers became addicted to gambling sites where they even forget to prioritize things because of being addicted. However, the right thing in that research is that they already stated recommendations and solutions as to what proper research does.
I am not an alcoholic nor a drug addict, there are a lot of better things that are worth it spending my time compared to that bad habits, so I can not relate my self if the crypto world can be a way to solve the addiction of gambling sites. However, in my own opinion, the crypto world can not be considered as a solution to that problem because we all love the crypto world and, of course, the cryptocurrency. There are many ways to earn that by playing gambling sites, only themselves or their ability can be their solution to the problem.

I don't think crypto can give solutions to gambling addicts because with the freedom to use their money in crypto, they can deposit to buy any coins available on the gambling site so then they can use the coins to gamble. Gambling addiction is not contributing to drug and alcohol abuse, but it could happen since, in the real casino, we can see that in the table, some people smoke and drink. They can become gambling addicting while they can also addicting to smoke, drug, and even alcohol.

I have never smoked or drank and I don't think no matter how much the pressure is due to gambling, if one is dedicated, he won't be addicted to drinking or smoking. However, stealing, yeah. And I think that gambling on a computer is a lot worse, for example, one of my friends can't control himself on betting because it's just digital currency. The pressure on betting is lowered, considering that you are not actually holding your money. Gambling is gambling, and you should take it seriously when gambling is making you trouble or when you gamble, it is causing you a problem.

Addictions indeed a disease where deeper assessment and helps is very needed. There's no way that by the use of crypto you can eliminates those that are fruit of your addictions, it's not because you are playing in front of your computer and you are comfortably playing inside your house means that you will stop drinking or smoking or even taking some drugs its still present once you are already engaging too much,. Here you are wrong because most of the gamblers who fall in the problem gambling category are those who usually are drug addicted or have a serious drinking problem because when you are drunk you are not in your senses and make bets you don't intended to make.

Also I must say that the emotions you go through during gambling the highs and lows during the outcomes, affects you more than you think because we develop such a habit that we get upset too quickly and next moment we feel overjoyed which is a serious problem.

I know a gambler in real life and he has huge mood swings all because of gambling which often we call as - Bipolar Disorder.

Yes, gambling frustration may lead to do anything as out of control of mind state, gamblers may commit any level of crime too.
When gamblers accept profit or loss as a same thing, then this kind of bad consequences could be avoided. I believe we must focus on making gamblers grooming toward a state where they can treat everything easier by accepting with a smile.

This is completely new perspective you are looking at cryptos in my opinion. Cryptos alone cannot bring any solution for gamblers. I mean if any solution already available in fiat mode, then probably that can be copied for crypto environment and nothing more.

I already feel that I am a gambling addicted because I do spend some 3 to 5 hours in gambling regularly. But, when I have some job to do then I am able to skip my gambling. Fortunately I am not deviating my focus toward drugs or drinks but still sticking within gambling.

^ My answer is no. Probably the best solution for gambling addiction is to first stop gambling even when you lose. I understand that going to Casino can lead you to smoke and drinking alcohol. But even when you lose, try to stop and take a deep breath. Ask yourself why are you doing it. I have seen a lot of people that are victims of gambling addiction. I find it poor to see a person that is doing their best to find ways to gamble when they are broke. Some are doing shady things against their families just to satisfy their addiction and that is when it is best to solve it quickly.
Cryptocurrency does not have a role in this. Crypto is a financial instrument just like money. But when you are a gambling addict, you will still use it for gambling. Probably the treatments are available nationwide and the addicts should reach them.
