Too scared to go for altcoins?

Going for altcoins is a risky proposition for a new investor entering the crypto market due to the sheer amount of altcoins present in the market and also the new ones which seems to be keep appearing almost everyday. Add to the fact that most altcoins aren't listed in standard exchanges makes it tougher to buy them and also mistake prone.

There is no such thing as safe when investing in crypto, it maybe a high risk but with proper research they can surely find a good altcoins to invest.
It's given that majority of the altcoins are shit coins or what we called scam coins but there are still hundreds of altcoins in the market that has a good potential, one good strategy is to invest on the top 10 altcoins in the market, sure there's at least 60% chance that you'll grow your investment.

People will keep being scared to go for altcoin because of the too many scam projects we have out there today. I personally an not beat my best for any altcoin for a newbie in cryptocurrency before. Bit coin remains the only trusted. Don't get me wrong. I am not saying others can not be trusted but I ant just beat my chest for them.

in my opinion all the Alts that you mentioned are programs from Bitcoin and they collaborate with bitcoin. bitcoin remains the father of all of them but still halving will affect the price of this bitcoin child. so for investment I will still use bitcoin.

Seeing the decline in the dominance of bitcoin in 2020, in my opinion altcoin experienced an interesting price movement. Maybe not all altcoins, but altcoins with large transaction volumes have seen prices start to strengthen. I think there is no need to be afraid if investing in altcoin as long as we choose altcoin which has a large liquidity and is actively traded on the market

The likes of those coins mentioned by OP is good. Well investing in altcoin is very profitable if you invest in a good one, with a good entry point but when it goes against one, then it could be a long wait,that is why I would rather go for bitcoin itself for long term hold, also proper research is needed before any investment in altcoin

I believe that the opportunity is big on the most top-ranking altcoins in the market and not just limited on Bitcoin Fork coins, Its no question that the All-Time High price of those Bitcoin Forks are good too but it doesn't mean that they are staying on that same level, again and again, thats why it's better to diversify our portfolio for the better.

Why not just stick with Bitcoin?
If they are afraid of alt-coins then why should they try those fork or Bitcoin clones?
What made them so different from other alts?
I think if they are afraid in alt-coins they just need to stick with Bitcoin.
Besides there are so many other top crypto other than those fork crypto's onlyBCH and BSV manage to be put on top 5 so I think there are other better alt-coin than them.

Most of the listed coin is shit.And Bitcoin Cash is the biggest shit in crypto era.I specially hate this coin.I will never buy these token.better I will chose others altcoin. I think your list is popular altcoin, people still interesting with them and I think worth for investment. Scare, worry and angry is trader/ investor psychology, that's normal but must have solutions. If you replace investment before halving you will meet challenge to reduce risk bigger than invest after halving. I think invest should doing after halving, we can see market direction clearly without correction.

Yes most people are scared to get in alts after couple years long downtrend but then again every downtrend provides good entry opportunity so i think good coins have a chance to boom really quickly when their time comes, some alts that are looking attractive to me are neo, ada, xlm and obviously Eth.

   I am not scared to go for alt-coin, I am going for alt-coins for more than a year. Give or take maybe I would be better with just two
investments Bitcoin and Ethereum, they rise, some alt-coins I have dropped a lot and they do not show any signs of recovery.
   Follow the first rule of investing, invest only what you can afford to lose. When I invest in certain alt-coins I don't invest huge amounts,
I invest what I can afford to lose even if they go to zero.

Still the center of attention is bitcoin and the other BCHs are still below that and the range is still good for other altcoins in my opinion.
Look Ethereum is now soaring better and has already redeemed $ 250 that means that altcoin is still hopeful for investment. I need to pay attention to this coin because in 24 hours this coin goes up quite high.

Indeed, however, just only few altcoins who are worthy of our investment because it is the fact that most of the alts are shitcoins and cannot give a decent profit as what top ranked coins can give. Regarding on the post of OP only the BCH among other coins in the list that is getting a good position in the market thus Bitcoin cash would be kinda profitable.

I don't like bitcoin fork and I think that bitcoin is far better than bitcoin fork so don't have any interest in those. Though people have their own right to choose what to trade I think there are a lot of other alts that have much potential and is a very good investment plan. I think Ethereum, Monero, Golem, BNB is a very good coin to invest in.

Many call 2020 the year of Ethereum. I believe that Ethereum will cost more than $ 400 this year. Even if the price of Bitcoin does not rise above $ 14,000.

You are right on your point that those coin can pump if bitcoin will pump (in halve). But why people would choose those fork coin over bitcoin. same here . if there is one fork coin i choose that will only be bitcoincash   . no doubt because bitcoincash are now one among of the top coins  . other thing i like with it is its value that so huge   , the coin has a second large value next to bitcoin   . altcoins are not that really scary  because many altcoins are good  .  by the way , is bsv also a fork coin  ?  bsv is making a name lately  . i think its also worth it to grab the coin while it still hot  . you never know what if this coin are going to remain most of its pump  , like bch .

Bitcoin forks are altcoins too, so you can't compare these altcoins with the Bitcoin. But I agree with you that these forks coins are very responsive to Bitcoin growth. In every bitcoin price growth, I saw BCH, BCD grew well! Recently the BCD growth was incredible! So, for making profits yes I believe these coins are good for a limited time, but I won't suggest people buy it and hold it for a long time, rather sell at profit and get out!

each person has his own coin. It doesn't matter if you don't like the forks of bitcoin, but you must be prepared to lose the opportunity to make a profit. however, the coins mentioned are also quite promising, so no matter which one you choose, as long as the time is right, it is already very good to be an investment.

I think the coins you mentioned above have not been able to defeat Bitcoin and will never be able to because they are all created from HF Bitcoin, but to buy at the current price is very good and just waiting for halving to occur and get profits

The support of all the other people to the bitcoin is really amazing that makes it really unbeatable by any other coins out there. Altcoins are having a hard time to recover when the their prices suddenly drops. Unlike bitcoin that has the ability to recover faster than any other coin because of the support of its investors.
