It can be possible to happen yet rare to come because most of the time, Bitcoin is the one who is getting into a bullish run. Though Altcoins have also experience getting into some sort of a bull run which happened way back 2017 in which both Bitcoin and Altcoin market have gone into a bull run. After that, it was rarely seen that both Bitcoin and Altcoins have gone into a bull run because it is observable that Bitcoin is the one who is always experiencing the hype of getting into a bull run. Well, on the Altcoins side I think the reason why they are struggling to raise the price of reaching a bull run is because of the recent issues that involves some projects resulting for people to avoid or get afraid of getting into Altcoins. But hopefully this year if there will be a bull run, hopefully both Bitcoin and Altcoins can experience the benefit of having an improved price which will also benefit us who hold.

Everybody in our Crypto Community is happy that we are going in right direction with building value of Bitcoin. This is really appreciable how BTC is improving in each single day. No doubt Bitcoin deserve attention of the world due to its features in any means.

But with the bitcoin most of us also trading or Hodling altcoins together in our portfolio which is logical. Most of the time Bitcoin and Altcoin work inversely proportional i mean when bitcoin is moving upward in mean time altcoins start crashing.
Anything may happen. Most of the altcoins are finding themselves bullish only when bitcoin prices are stable. Yes, when bitcoin market is bullish or bearish, altcoin market enter into bearish mode ONLY. I guess no one might be having any proper explanation for this. But this is how altcoin markets are working. We need to trade altcoins based on how bitcoin market is doing otherwise we will get trapped by unexpected losses.

I remember before 2017, both bitcoin and altcoins markets are rising up and falling down simultaneously and at those times, dominance of bitcoin market was more than 80% but now we are having comparatively more altcoin market dominance in this crypto space. This could be one of the reason why we are unable to predict how altcoin market will be reacting against bitcoin market fluctuations.

In the world of crypto Bitcoin is the king of all altcoins so if the price of bitcoin has increased then the altcoin also follows the Bitcoin footprint, but there is also a portion of the Altcoin value inversely proportional to the bitcoin because the altcoins do not have The potential so that its value can not move so much that it all depends on the investor who likes the coin, but if the altcoin already has a potential like ethereum then its value continues to dominate the price of Bitcoin although movement is not so Fast but it all needs a process.

basically, when the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoin will also go up. although the price of bitcoin is more dominant, it will still affect the price of an altcoin. for example, in 2017, the price of bitcoin rose simultaneously with altcoin, and in 2019 the price of bitcoin was dominant, but it still affected the price of an altcoin.

It depends if cryptocurrencies satisfy the community again and the hype bring trust. In 2017 nobody was afraid that system collapse but now when the price is low everybody is afraid that crypto doesn't have a future.
Yes, everything depends on the conditions and situation, but everyone also has their own judgment in dealing with matters related to cryptocurrency, and believe that cryptocurrency will not just collapse in the future.

I don't think so, we all know that Bitcoin is the king of all coins and it always surge first before any other coins and once it's dominance start decreasing then altcoins will have a chance of following their big brother

When bitcoin market enters into bullish mode, I believe people will regain their trust on cryptocurrencies. It would be just matter of time because people are following bitcoin market for more than one decade so regaining the trust on cryptocurrency market will NOT be a big thing. When more people are joining at the times of bullish market condition, we can expect both bitcoin and altcoins to be rising up simultaneously.

After 2017 bull run and followed bear run, I guess most people might have understood how crypto markets are working and how to safeguard their capital against market fluctuations. When there will be clearer understanding about when to enter into the market and when to exit the markets, I strongly believe there will be no problem of regaining trust. Moreover, I'm expecting multifold stronger bull run in coming months compared to what we had in 2017 because people who had adopted crypto have grown in multifold already.

if you ask so this is related to speculation, because guess what will happen.
looking at the market situation my assumption is that it will occur together like a bull in late 2017. When bitcoin rises at the beginning of this year then alt also rises at least that's a picture that will happen when bulls come.

It's evident from the recent upsurge in bitcoin price that the altcoins also followed along the line. That's to say that the bull, if and when it comes with bitcoin, will also be for altcoins. Altcoins shouldn't be left out.

The norm is that people tend to sell altcoin to buy bitcoin which further strengthen the bitcoin and also makes altcoin price drop but this is not consistent because we have seen in the past where altcoin like ETH also bullish, though it was not as rapid as it was for the bitcoin. recently, when the bitcoin price surge and rise up to 10k, we also noticed that ETH price also went up so I think the most time when the bitcoin price increase, the price of ETH also increases. Although this is not consistent with other altcoin.

It all depends on the altcoins if you are referring to shitty projects whose developers main aim is to defraud the community and lead a luxurious life. Some of my good altcoins have been on a steady growth. HYIP altcoins are a killer.

When bitcoin starts to spike up the price some of the alts they come along with bitcoin's price. Most likely those majors coins like xrp, eth, bnb, eos to name a few but most of of alts stays at the same price or even decrease in a greeny market. New up coming projects will get benefited too as they wanted to release their tokens in bullish market to seize the opportunity to make profits.

I think both btc and altcoins can grow together but for that to happen everything should favor the market, like public opinion and sentiment, positivity from governments around the world about crypto, major financial institutes and funds should be investing in crypto and last but not the least mass adoption, in short if everything goes green for crypto then it will become really unstoppable.

I saw the altcoin price decrease again when Bitcoin increased. I mean the altcoin / BTC price pair will go down and that's what I care about. I rarely trade altcoin / usdt trading pairs because my main purpose is to try to earn as much BTC as possible.

The theory will stand if that happens this time, right now what we are seeing is that the market is moving higher when ever the price of bitcoin is moving higher but that does not mean that when there is a huge rally in bitcoin that the entire alt coin market will rally along with it, we have not seen that market situation in the past and i am not expecting that to happen this time around, i might expect a rally in top alt coins once a huge rally in bitcoin subsides and not before that.

Yes, it will be highly unpredictable because we cannot pre-assume how the investors/traders will be reacting when bitcoin market is rising up or falling down. Basically, altcoin market is completely depending on the fluctuations of bitcoin markets hence we can predict how the traders and investors will be doing for altcoin markets against the fluctuation of bitcoin market.

Like you have mentioned, currently altcoin market is reacting to bitcoin in inversely proportional way. Only when bitcoin market is trading stable, we can expect altcoin market to rise up. But this cannot be 100% guaranteed fact, anything may happen at any time just based on the trends of traders and investors. High-level precaution is always recommended.

yes of course the last time bitcoin and alt rose at the same time so there's no reason this won't happen again.
unless alt is not in demand. my predictions will occur in late 2021 or towards early 2022.
or it might be different depending on the market situation.

Quite true although not all alternative cryptocurrencies are expected to get high whenever bitcoin gets pump, just expect a pump to happen on cryptocurrency that sits next to the bitcoin like Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. But also take note that there are pretty much of coins existing in the market that has its own time and progress that does not depend on bitcoin. I've been seeing less known currency that is spiking and getting bullish for quite some time. Bitcoin dominance is above half it is surprising at all if the market goes wild when halving occurs.

If you look at the previous bull races, it becomes clear that this all happened in this way.
Bitcoin grew and in the place with it all the top coins grew. In February, something similar happened.
However, with high dominance of bitcoin, the following may happen.
With a decrease in the dominance of Bitcoin, prices for alternative coins may begin to grow because part of the capital will be transferred from Bitcoin to alternative coins.

If you look at the history of price movements in Bullrun, bitcoin prices are often pumped up by most potential altcoins. This is the most awaited moment for crypto enthusiasts to "harvest" after a long dry season. Most of the members above also have the same opinion.

Although not too significant, BTC prices are rising slowly, some altcoins are also showing the same performance. Some new coins and tokens that experience positive trends are
