This is a very risky strategy if you wanted to play with fire. Yes market seems to be up and down and like you many got confuses too even professional traders got headache with this kind of market movement. If youre confident as a holder just ignore all of this.

Same case. I really thought I can relax and wait for my asset to bloom but thats the thing about this market. If you sleep at night youll never know that the market is already falling and when you wake up thats it. Youre doom already. But dont be dissapointed cause that's how this field works and if you waive youll only lose. Red is okay, not all thr time we are down. Just think of a greater gains that will come.

I agree there are some significant movements not only for bitcoin but for alts market as well, and I think it is a good sign that we will be seeing good market in the near future(in weeks/months or even in a long run hopefully.) As for traders or those who have held their assets for pong terms I think this the time for them to sell it off, them switch flit to another coins where they think they get much more porfit from.

I would say those who thought about investment and bought some altcoin late December and perhaps early January would really be happy now and enjoying the bill , this is because then, prices were at bottom  but immediately after first week of January, I began noticing  some upwards movement  up till today, what actually  happened on the 16th was a normal retracement which is always bound to happen after so much upwards movement.

The first people to enjoy it are holders, those who held on despite everything, especially those holding from last year or beginning of the year they really got a handsome reward. Secondly are traders too, those who are good also took their own share. From the look for things, it is certainly holders that enjoyed most they were really happy they did. It all came like, will it be the bull run and gradually everywhere turned green and before most can get in holders were already benefiting, therefore it can be said that their patience paid off. I agree with your last paragraph, patience is one of the vital things needed to succeed in this space but this is only applicable when one is holding strong coins just like you said. Lastly, removing greed is another thing which can't be taken for granted.

Holders might not make that high profits as any trader can make. Usually a holder just purchase a coin at a specific price and wait for the price to pump so that he could sell off those coins to make profits but whereas a trader would constantly buy and sell that same coin at various dips and pumps which would keep on multiplying the amount for him.

In this example, the trader would surely have some risk whereas the holder would have minimum risk but we love to take risk just to earn some decent profits. Not being greedy here, but the only reason we trade with cryptocurrencies is to gain some profits. Patience would always make us win anytime.

Not all the time for sure, saying that based on my experience, if you hold only one coin which is bitcoin, then maybe I would believe that patience would be the key but it's gonna be another story for altcoins as we never know if the coins we are holding will continue to appreciate, some might just turn into scam because the team leaves the project and take the money, that is just one scenario and it has happened in the past.

Since there are people who are still buying the news and continue to follow the trends, It's very important to work wisely around this kind of situation
buy low and sell high and not to do the vice versa. Do not fall and make a mistake while holding your assets, bull and bear do have it's own cycle try

the rality is crypto currency trading is gambling. They have no real value or function.
besides the majority of people entering in 2018 ( late ) have lost lots of their hope and many will not be investing in crypto anymore

untill crypto becomes functional it is practically ...wel nothing but gambling. When it becomes mainstream then it is just money like any other paper/ card money we have now. Banks and governments will use/ create some and will regulate the rest...if you made your money 2 years back...good for you and if you did not you will never see the same thing happen again. Why?  because 12 year old kids will not run around and put their savings in crypto dreaming about getting rich. That will make sure we will not see 100x again except the odd exception and will surely never see 1000x or 10000x as some have seen before 2019.

When de dreamers and fanatics get sidelined, it will be time for crypto currencies to become usefull in some way and be regulated in some way. This will happen there is no reason to have paper money....i for one dont use paper money that much for years.......having 1000s of crypto currencies which can dissapear at any moment is stupid

I think even the inexperience crypto-traders have also gained from the recent bullish months because the trend continued to rise since the last quarter of the year 2019 until early February these days so that was a big opportunity to earn during those highs and lows in a daily basis. if they are used to take advantage of the opportunity.

I agree with what you have said Op  being greedy and impatient will negatively affect  on you and especially  on your financial income, you may even lose all your money because of them. Plus,  try to control yourself and in the bad events ( like, big dip ). Your turn will come to you in the appropriate time, you need to exploit this chance in a best way. Now, we just need to HODL and watching the market, I feel that in the near future we will certainly see a good development in the whole market.

When I finally lose about 7K, I didn't enjoy it already. The trends in crypto isn't just unpredictable but manipulated by the big boys in the market. Reading charts will help you in trading, you will believe you are already good in predicting the market but don't get to confident.  If you have the money however which you will just buy every time the price dips, you'll enjoy these waves the most.
