I don't know why crypto experts/analysts always play safe by saying at the end of the year that coin price will go in that place/price! So, people wait 12 months to see it if they are right or wrong?!

Is there something wrong to predict and give some certain duration to that? I think it will boost professional statement when it comes to market price once they can get close to their analyses. Usually end of year is the best time to put it cause no one will be interested on prediction on a middle spot month. I think this is just a routine that's why they always put it on that date.

I think it is nothing wrong if people or company make speculation. It is all depends on us how we respond it and if we really believe it, it means we can be trapped into people's speculation anytime because not all will be happen. If me i will use my own prediction with a help from people's prediction. So i wil decide what i do depends on my prediction and not easily follow what people's prediction.

It's right do their own search don't believe at any speculation because no one can predict the right price and the right time bitcoin will grow. Many are saying this year is a year of crypto maybe a positive thought is in our mind but we need to be smart on that think so that we can not lose a big money.

not all of coins with 5 - 20 million valuation range always got unreasonable pump. Look at some coins just like blockstack and it has brought a big news that makes investors are buying in the market again. The problem is we can't even identify all of them on what reason that create the pump.

Longer term predictions are lot truer than shorter term predictions. I believe that is why they make their prediction at the start of the year for the end of the year. And, for sure, it is always best for everyone to do their due diligence. There are many factors that could change the trend of the market. I also don't listen too much on those "forecasters" simply because they are only trying to predict what will happen next and not stating facts with concrete evidences. So even how famous or how influential he is in this world, I don't care unless he showed me that he can time travel lol. Many bitcoin enthusiast were expecting some price spike or huge price increase at the end of the year. Well, the thing is , it was the other way around. It was actually dumped on December 2019 untik January 2020. It just means it was just a pure prediction that it bitcoin will always perform bull run in 12th month just like 2017.

It is still better to trust your own technical analysis, analyze your charts and listen to your own TA and guts rather than listening to some btc speculators who only contribute to the fud.

There is no need to put an evidence because to predict the future you don't need an evidence but only a basis, but that basis will only be valid if we who listen to them agrees with it, that is why there's no guarantee that they are correct because they are just humans like us and like us we don't see the future and yet we can't predict perfectly. Maybe when I was new I am a fan of this experts but later I realized that they are not worth a lot to be successful in crypto.

well, I totally agree with this statement because now many coins have the same supply as bitcoin and even under bitcoin but cannot have the same price as bitcoin and cannot have trading volume like bitcoin because they have no demand and few use coins so the price cannot be easily increased.

Indeed. That is why we need to analyze daily, weekly, and monthly so we can know if the prediction will happen or not. Besides that, we can get more information about the prediction from other people that will be useful for us to decide related to the current situations. We need to make our own prediction, but we can use their prediction to know the good time to enter the market and leave the market. Everyone has a freedom to express their thoughts or opinions especially in crypto world. Predictions are only suggestions or target by someone and it doesn't say that it will turn out that way as even professional investors or traders cannot predict what will happen in the future as crypto world is full of surprises.

If you are a wise trader or investors, don't fall to that kind of prediction and it's best also if you have your own graph so you can also tell whether what is the chance for crypto currencies to increase it's price in the following months. By doing so, you don't need to base on their prediction as you have your own already and even you can predict what will happen by the end of the year. However, I believe that the method “listen to your Technical analysis and yourself” is suitable only for those people who have been on the cryptocurrency market for a very long time. predictions are not always made in order to cheat people. As a rule, people want to earn a reputation and if their predictions work, then they become more authoritative experts. all this is done in order to earn money and make a business, but not for cheating. people who make incorrect predictions are simply not very experienced

'Do your own research' is the popular tag line so far and that is right. An example if you just rely one some expert prediction like 2019 and 2018 as you said then you were lost at that time. But when you believe and make your own prediction then I believe you won't be lose with huge money because you will play safe. I guess the people who just come to cryptocurrency and they learb first about cryptocurrencies's work then I believe there won't ever come some bad news about cryptocurrencies. Maybe they're just defining not exactly 12 months but they're referring for a long term holding of coins, people are so literal and they're following it. It's bad for the big traders to give a suggestion like that since most of the newbie investors or users who don't know anything will follow those unsure statements.

It's impossible to tell exactly what will happen in 12 years if you're going to base all on the market analysis now and predict what will be an outcome for the next 12 months maybe they are just exaggerating that the coins will pump but not exactly in 12 months.

It's their mistake if they going believed in one's prediction and IMO, it is totally wrong and in the end, they will expect too much and it can even lead to their frustration. Even we see a prediction of a well-known or professional person still do not believe instantly because it's just their own theory and it came from their own perspective. Based on what I see here and in other articles it tells that most of the predictions of people always in the last quarter of the year and maybe they just came up in this idea because of the last bull run that happens last 2017.

For the sake of our investment, it's better to come up with our own research or analysis and do not always based our investment on other ideas or predictions and sometimes it might lead to our big losses and you can even blame some people because you believe to them.
