There were recent rumors about this Corona Virus being released by China itself. WHO said the virus is nowhere else found but from Wuhan lab. Don't you think they did this virus spread purposely?

Seem like China is already trying to take back their banknotes from their people. Is anyone also thinking they'd return all these banknotes in digital yuan form to the people?

It's cheaper and faster to burn the banknotes and print a bunch of new ones as the replacement. Disinfection is more costly and slower.

UV disinfection could be done very quickly and cheaply if they needed to with some minor modifications to existing hardware. It only takes one use to infect a note, burning them after a single use is asinine.

i am fed up reading scenarios without any real evidend.
"It is said" and "rumors" are the most used words along with the Corona virus.
I don't care why it has started, I care about the cure that needs to be created and stop the virus.

If it makes anyone happier, he's a source on the claims relating to China literally disinfecting its bank notes to stop the spread of the coronavirus. Maybe this is a push towards digital currency, or maybe they're just trying to put on some sort of theater to make people feel safer. Who knows.

Probably just a time for them to ensure that all of the UV disinfection worked and that it's not going to spread further -- they may not be doing anything with the money after the first UV disinfection anyway (cynic in me), they may just throw it in a drawer and tell the people they're doing this crazy testing.

I've always remembered what a teacher told me about China -- they're always lying, about everything -- this is true of their GDP numbers, this is true of the Coronavirus. China is able to survive because their people are indoctrinated.

couple funny things.
if someone came to a bank with 20 notes. they wont be out the door in 10 minutes..

secondly the bank teller/clerk. grabbing and counting the old notes. then grabs holds new bank notes.. (contact transfer) makes the process a little redundant

just imagine all the customers grabbing hold the door handle or signing a payment slip with the same pen everyone uses

thirdly if UV was effective. then why is there no big business of facemasks with cheap UV LED shining at peoples faces
if UV was so quick why dont doctors surgeries have UV lamps at entrances and exits to decontaminate people as they walk in and out..

but the other things like. in 1 and a half months 1500 deaths due to corona. yet 30,000 due to road traffic accidents(20x)
oh and if everything is on lockdown/quarantine how come there are still airflights and they are regular too.. about a flight every 30 minutes from wuhan..

what you dont get told is 'retirement villages' are getting extra care as are children care homes. but average joe isnt getting any special treatment

The chinese CV is not something new, it's nothing but another virus of the common cold. The only significant difference is that it contains a different set of surface antigenes which are unknown to humans and their immune system. In other terms, including infectivity, it's just another coronavirus which is not different from others. CV is not that infective to make simple touch & touch activity dangerous enough so this process won't be redundant. You know, the common cold isn't transmitted in this way.

UV disinfection is not effective when you need to do it quickly. To be actually effective, you need to spend 30-60 minutes irradiating the notes, which would simply be a stupid waste of time. This is why I mentioned that burning and swapping the notes is more preferred scenario.

as i was saying the whole point of actually trying to do a bank run on redistributing bank notes is not only a false safeguard. but its redundant on many levels.

Well, this may be done as a part of regular circulation. People won't need to do anything, just use their money as usual. All notes are passing through the banks anyway, there is no need for people to queue anywhere.

To me, I'd have to agree with you. I don't see the point in sifting through tons of paper bills when you just increase the amount of printing you do by a tad for a day and then you're golden -- but then again, I guess no one has put me in charge of the money supply for a world power yet.

China needs to put on a bit of a song and dance to convince the rest of the world that they're doing enough to stop this problem. The rest of the world is already pretty pissed at China for allowing this to get to this point, as they kicked the can on telling the world cause they didn't want to stop their industry for a little while -- and because of that greed they've caused for this disease to spread outside of their country.

It's more of a conspiracy theory and it's everywhere on the internet that we're all thinking like this. Biochemical/biological war in purpose but we don't really have an idea if they did that on purpose.

what you actually find is that its the western countries that spread fear. its the west that done stupid things like demand westerners get on a plane and go to their home countries.

it was the west that dont have a clue about what is really happening in china. for instance the chinese new year festival they treated as a country shut down due to corona.

the western media try to potray it like all of china will die and then the world.

the reality is that people under 50 years old. even if they have symptoms of having corona.. less than 1% of those will die from it.
as for people like 80+ years old. only 14% of those who get corona die from it.

if you do the maths. its not some massive apocalypse the western media make it out to be.
but china have actually done more than america would do in the same situation

I think China needs to change some rules to fight the Corona Virus. It's spreading man to man very quickly by touching each other without any protection. Even, it could spread by handover any things even money. So, for this time they should choose the digital currency to avoid the spreading the virus by local currency. I am not saying that they must choose Bitcoin. I am saying to choose just need to avoid using the local money. They can take any digital currency in this situation.

Of course, maybe it is God behind-the-scenes directing governments and the media to do this, so that we become afraid, and look to Him for salvation from death.
