i dont think this is the lowest  but i think the price was down under 8k befor and this time it was up again at 9k usd  .

you cant say lowest at this year because the year is only getting started   and usually the price will start low but it will only got improve the longer the days or weeks have passed   .  like what you have said , patience is the key , nothing more nothing less   .   im expecting that btc will hit 10k again soon and then 11k to 13k usd will follow up   .

The price today is a bit off than what OP posted so expect already some kind of a volatility like this because this is how the market acts. It is better to buy now if you guys are doing short and wait for the price to move up a little just a little hundreds of dollars difference and buyback again after selling to make a profit. I think it might need some more weeks before we will be able to see the bullish trend again.

What? Haven't you see the current price? It's below $9k and the lowest that we have seen is like $8600 coming from $10k++. We can go back to this thread and says that we did touch 5 digits as high as $10300, however, it was not that sustainable.

And then the whole corona virus spread put a dent on the price as well, pushing it to $8600. So it's really a lot of ups-and-downs lately as it seems that 5 digit is a big barrier in front of us again.

Accumulation phase is good below $10,000 considering that there is a big event coming in and might potentially pump the price of Bitcoin.
We might not be expecting a good run these coming few months though the block halving is closely approaching, instead the expected rise of Bitcoin will happen a year after. So, most probably 2021 is the most ideal year for Bitcoin's price to hit new heights base on the last 2 halving.

We have hit more than 10k of bitcoin price already but after that the bitcoin goes down again to less than 9k. For about almost 2 weeks of decrease, it was able to gain momentum again and started to increase for about 3 days but as of the writing it started to goes down again.

There was no steady increase as of the moment, so we can expect that in the following weeks the market will rise and will fall. But if the demand will out play the seller then we can expect a steady increase in the following months until the halving will occur. It will be best if we can hit like 13-15k bitcoin price before the halving so we can start strong.

And I was here thinking that Bitcoin could go back under 8k$ for a while for another strong accumulation phase but instead it went up again and maybe its gonna hit 10k$ this month but I doubt it will continue to rise until halv happens as I can see another drop happening before or after the halv.

For now if  you're a trader I suppose you kinda love this stable zone of Bitcoin as the swings of prices are not so big. I'm not a trader tho.

I don't think that the price of bitcoin can be below the price of $ 8k, but, when the price of bitcoin touches the price of $ 9k, the price decreases again. even today, the price of bitcoin is back in the range of $ 8k. So far, I don't expect big developments from bitcoin, it's just that, I want to see prices stabilize in the $ 10k range.

Right now I think it can go down as far as 7k to 8k based on its rally stats last week. Anything below 9k could be a good entry point. Im still optimistic that this year will be the rise of bitcoin and the year next after that will probably another good run for it.

Why not? See the charts. Im seeing a massacre as the pattern pointing already on 7k. I hope it will not proceed as this level could be pull again to lower support. But for cheap price, could also be an advantage.

What to expect? Right now, we are hoping to see the bitcoin price to increase back and break $9k again. But unfortunately, it seems this day still not showing that the price can increase. The trend seems to want to go down for more because the red candle still appears and going strong in the market. We don't know if tomorrow, the price can back to the higher price or not, but we can hope that tomorrow will give us a chance to see the price increase back. Now, the price is at $8700, and we don't know what will happen in the next hour.

Honestly, it is not that far away from the 9678 price right now, it is just 8700+ right now, that is significant drop from 9700 but also it has been a long time since that was the price and the price didn't dropped all that much when you consider how long it has been and still didn't keep going down.

If it was just a recent fall I would say it is risky right now but price already went down as much as it can and nothing changed, if it went down like 10k to 9k to 8k to 7k t 6k and so forth I would be afraid right now but it didn't and stopped after a certain amount of drop.

Let's see what holds in the future but I am not too gloom about going down, I do not see it going up anytime soon neither but I do not see it going down neither. Lets see what will happen but I expect a stagnancy for a longer time.

1st and 2nd quarter will never have that kind of amazing trend. The previous halving reflects the market showing a positive impact that takes months after the halving is done. And if halving will happen by May, it probably we can see its effect by the 3rd and 4th quarters. So, therefore, we can't expect that early this year we can be in bullish one coz it seems to be hard and even looking the market trend we have now, there is no strong resistance that might push through. We still need to wait and patiently wait for the right moment and hopefully, early 2021 could have a good thing to see.

there is a lot of panic going on in the market and a lot of FUD being spread trying to scare people with the coronavirus and the stock market crash. all of it is unreasonable because there is no link between any of them and bitcoin as it has been like it forever! but unfortunately the market is responding positively to the FUD and the price went down as a result.
which is why i don't think there are that many people buying right now seeing this as an opportunity. and more importantly i don't think anybody could have logically predicted this as this is unreasonable panic sell.

If someone invests in the long term, almost every moment of purchase will be good. However, in my opinion, this is not the end of price drops and by the end of March I expect to see even $5k. It was too early to start with the bull run. I think price increases will start at the end of 2020 - few months after halving.

You are right, it looks like we need to wait for few more days to see a massive change in BTC. The rally which was showing some remarkable effect from the past two months is not performing again, The Benchmark of BTC is struggling to recapture it's previous position but believe me BTC is about to make a strong movement as halving is a biggest hope for this crypto community and I hope it will not disappoint us.

This crash wasn't really unexpected, corrections aside this looks like something bigger but was expected by the public so we are not really the result of the price but the cause of the price. If enough people keep saying stuff like "there will be a fall" there will actually be a fall because those people sell and when they sell the price drops and when price falls there are more people selling and the price falls some more in an endless cycle until it reaches the bottom.

We should start to expect some sort of increase nowadays because the bottom is already here and support is very very strong at these levels and we are definitely not going to see anything lower, I can't guarantee anything higher anytime soon neither but when price stops going down, it usually starts going up.

In my opinion, this is not the bottom yet and it is not the end of price drops. Real panic on global stock exchanges has not yet begun. Horror for investors will start as the first reports for the first three months of this year appear. International transport is slowed down, so delays in deliveries will begin. Prices of everything will start to fall even harder. I think that cryptocurrency investors will follow the global trend and will also escape to fiat currency. The $5k level is closer than we think.
