Projects Below Top 100 Coinmarketcap?

Seems like most of the discussions here is based on the top 50 projects, in which I have a good diversified porfolio, with BTC being my biggest holding for now, followed by ETH.

I've been trying to do some research on some of the lower cap projects out there, and a few of them caught my interest. ARK, seems to be a pretty well funded project with a total of 3000 BTC in dev funds, constant developments, but lack of marketing and overall use case has hurt them a lot I believe.

Blocknet, who made the first DEX in early 2018, and a project who focuses on their Decentralized Oracle Network (XRouter/Xbridge) is another good one, which I believe will do extremely well moving forward. Kucoin and Coss made some SICK gains in 2017, and they where centralized solutions, so only makes sense that DEX related projects follows the same path next bull run.

What else do you guys recommend? I'm only budgetting with around $1000 for each project, so the risk/reward scenario is pretty significant for me.

BTW, if you buy $1,000 worth of ARK, make sure to choose your delegate and vote.  It will generate at least one ARK a day for you.   Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) is the best form of "mining".

Stakenet is by far one of the most promising projects I've seen as of lately. You'd have to have followed the project to truly understand it's potential, but I'll try to explain it briefly here.

1) They helped the Litecoin team with Lightning Network integration on the LTC chain.
2) Stakenet is the industry leader in terms of Lightning Network developments, building and improving the technology in a way that benefits everyone. Their new Lightning DEX, which is an integrated part of a multi currency wallet they've been working on for the past year is bound to be a huge success for the following reasons:

The whole eco-system is ran by masternodes, who will do the dirty work (routing transactions back and forth over the Lightning Network), this means that Lightning node operators already have an incentive to keep them running, since the masternodes is profitable to run from the get-go already.

USDT, Ethereum (and it's tokens) will be integrated as well.

This is just a small, yet important part of Stakenet.

Stakenet invented cold staking, which means that you can stake XSN through their "Trustless Proof Of Stake" protocol.

Aeon and Grin.

Aeon is a fork of one of the most successful cryptocoins, Monero. It is the lighest cryptonote coin in the cryptospace. The community is small, however, they are loyal.

Grin is a new cryptocoin based on Mimblewimble. It has a monetary policy that might theoretically fix volatility, early adopter advantage and also make security of the coin more sustainable.

Also, Grin is supported by one of bitcoin's original miners hehe.

Everything outside top 100 is a gamble, but Walton has a much stronger use case than most. Supply chain management with RFID tracking will be a key part of the smart society.

MLK project is very good, just registered in Upbit ID and SG, the price goes up many times the initial price after listing
Klay and OGN projects are supported by many large companies, one of which is Samsung

I would suggest you taking a look at the Newscrypto project with their NWC token and the KAVA project. Both projects have a bright future ahead of them in my opinion. I bought both tokens since i want to have them in my bag before March.

I am also investing in these projects. These projects are not listed in the top 10 coinmarketcap, but in my opinion it is better than the altcoin in the top 10 and deserves for us to invest in it. electroneum and harmony are the two best projects for altcoins in addition to the top 10 and in the top 100

True but  just looking at the current coin value is being short sighted.  Gaining a coin a day is great esp after the coin value pumps.  A few cents now may be $10 (or more) a day in the future.

Note that BTC used to be no more than a cent per coin.

I definitely agree that everyone should have at least one coin that is not know so well or at least not highly ranked because those are the ones that could potentially give you the x100 increase in your profits, that is not common.

Bitcoin or ethereum or any other coin that big will never do x100 quickly, it may do it over 10 years but not inside a year, a coin that is 652th right now however could go x100 tomorrow inside a day and none of us will be shocked. That is why I always suggest putting 90%+ of all your money into top coins since that is a lot more safe and still profits even tho it is better profits than stock markets or gold, it would be still less than smaller altcoins like ARK, however if you put 5% or at most 10% into coins that could do x100, you may end up losing money more often than not however you can go x100 eventually as well and that is a gamble every should take with a small portion of their bankroll.

This is a successful project at that time especially since the successful Eidoo has received 80k ETH in 2017 and now this coin is still developing in some of the biggest exchanges, but on the coin that you share the link I played for a short period of time not still unsure for the term long and better looking for CMC's top 10 coins for the long term.

Bitcoin still we have to hold it because it is the main coin for us.

I observe a very high interest of investors in such projects, whose coins are not even included in the first hundred of the coinmarket rating.  As an example, such projects can be called How to highlight Glitzcoin, Jinbi and Jur.  I will not talk about the future prospects of each of these projects, but nonetheless, the indicators speak for themselves.  So not all coins from the top 100 are the most profitable.

You right, as far as I remember, the ARK was very high in the top 50 for sure. As for its potential, I do not agree with you. This coin had chances, but they remained unclaimed by the market. Competition is getting tougher and tougher all the time, and I don’t see any particular advantages of this project right now to think that it will succeed in such difficult conditions.

But I personally still hold a number of AE coins which are ranked 88, I have confidence that AE coins have good potential in the future.  So I think it's not wrong if you start buying some AEs now as your long-term investment.

I see a big mathematical paradox here 
On the one hand, diversification is good and increases the security of your investment. But on the other hand, what is the probability of finding two good ones from new coins? It's hard to find one, but two are even harder. Thus, by diversifying, we guarantee a loss of part of the investment. Maybe we should choose one coin if we are confident in our analysis?

Viacoin is a great project.  The developers working on the team are highly intelligent and they stick closely to the ideas of bitcoin in the beginning.  It wont replace bitcoin (dont think anything will) but I believe viacoin can be a great complement.  About 95% off it's high price so a pretty good time to buy in.

First off all why you have intention to choose 100 below project based on coin marketcap? Why don't you choose top ten project which I think it will be more profitable. Like Litecoin or Ripple which is have a low value right now. Because I believe these coin litecoin or Ripple are potential coins. Take a look three years before when bitcoin price had been increasing then almost altcoins price were increasing as well especially some altcoin which are in the top. How many projects you are planning to invest with?
There's a lot of good projects in the market but I would say it's hard to recommend as I don't want to be understood like shilling a certain coin.

I think you should consider a short term investment also, considering you have a good capital you'll definitely earn a decent income once these altcoins will rise, I am referring to altcoins in the top 100, some of them are still undervalued until now.

Why do you think I'm not buying? This is one of the coins in which I invest probably the most. I became interested in it over 3 years ago, when its price was around $0.01. Until now, I keep most of the coins and do not intend to sell below the new ATH.

I think so too,,, I remember them quite well in terms of threads and activity, just like a lot of other alts you mention (like Enjincoin also). Like most alts,,, the idea was really cool and the tech was even cooler but it is not just marketing to me it is the lack of users and real use case.

I would say if you want to invest 1000 dollars per project, maybe you can drop the investment and increase the project number? That way instead of putting 1000 dollar into lets say 10 projects, you can put 100 dollars into 100 projects, that would be a lot smarter since at least you can hit one big earner and make up for it thanks to that, few of them and you would be basically doubling your money.

I would say 100 is too much for the number of projects but I would say 200 dollars would be better, this is all of course considering you are only going to invest 10k in total. If it is any lower or higher you can change the numbers yourself but I would say have at least 30-40 coins you invest to make it more possible to hit one that will gain a lot of money.

I also saw a good project Cartesi but they are still inactive, so watch for that. If you plan to invest outside the top market make sure to study about it and You still have to hold the top altcoins for security purposes.

   I agree with you, there are good projects under top 100. The projects with great potential, they need a lot of work, more
support, and if they manage to survive this bear market and continue with development they will become better ranked in
the future.
   It's a competition, every team and project wish to be better ranked. But rank depends from people who support it, from
people who use it. We need to give a proper support to a project, if we don't contribute projects don't stand a chance.

In my opinion, Syscoin is not as potential as it used to be because the coin has not had any price improvement during the past time and it will certainly be outside the top 200 in the next few months. I don't see any good signs about this coin as all altcoins currently depend solely on Bitcoin. However, I will still consider investing someday because in the past I have made a lot of profits from this project.

I never heard about these coins, they must be pump and dump coins. Many people lost a lot of money on these schemes, it's created with one purpose to scam masses and people who get in last. Admins of the pump and dump group, and some people close to them are the ones who profit from this, all others lose money and get left with wortless tokens. I don't like pump and dump coins and I try to stay away from them.

yeah those coin usually have low market volume and easily manipulated I dont trust crypto that's below top 100 in term of pumping and should take a look twice. I remember back then when dex was hyped up so many altcoins with low volume being used for pump and dump trapping many people and cause them losing money.

OP is asking about rank 100 and below but all you've bring here are mostly in top 50 though  ARK has been mentioned  by OP and yeah ranked below 100.


But sorry that i am not a fan of low ranking currencies ,because I wanna secured my investments and i don't feel i am in lower rank coins.

I usually go in top 1-20 currencies not unless i found new one that attracts my attention .

I was found the bright future on MB8 project, because this is utility token & real life uses product on their own e-commerce platform. It’s actually disappeared incapable to hits the bigger exchange. This is just an idea. In the case of long-term investments, investments should not be made just because they are listed on a large exchange. Because you probably know how big exchanges delist coins. So without looking at the big exchanges, you should look at the project. The more a project develops, the better it will be in the project market. I have seen a lot of coins that are listed on big exchanges but are being dumped in a very bad way.

It is true, there is no point in looking at the exchanges it is listed, if you are investing in any projects then you should follow their development and be active in the social media channels to understand what they are planning to do and any project that is able to collect huge amounts can always spend money to list them in big exchanges but if they are not delivering in time the price will dump and the best part is to follow the developers wallet as i have seen many projects dumping their coins once they are sure that the project is failing.

Most of the coins suddenly pump are those coins that are not listed in top 100. Those coins are high potential and for long-term investment. If you’re not careful in investigating and analyzing the project you will end up with another scam project. Some of these are not performing well and they are just being hype after launch so you should be careful about this. It’s really hard to determine those coins that are highly potential while there is not being in the top ranks. So it really takes a lot of time and effort recognizing the right project and 5 to 6 months more these coins will be climb to the top ranking.

Coti and Hive are just waiting for time to reach new all time high,
if you are able to hold then you will be happy, both projects are indeed good and very feasible

This is an important issue that most new investors do not understand. There are many people who buy coins without any research. But realize how important it is later. Listing on a large exchange would be a good thing but it will not give you a trusted coin everytime.

The owners of the exchange understand the business, they don't care if your fund is in loss or in profit. So the strongest foundation of a project is development.

Cannot be rich from this coin because based on what is happening, you want to become rich, you have to earn at least x1000 from this market. Don't be optimistic too soon because the crypto market is still in a downtrend and this period will usually be the time when the market will have a major correction. Being able to invest in the top 100 CMC is a good choice but there's no guarantee you can make a profit.

Blocknet is making their own data protocol, which doesn't have this vulnerbility, which can process ETH based data in a decentralized way, which would benefit ETH a LOT.
LINK is a hyped up project with a lot of "muh partnerships", to pump the price up. Tech wise, it's really not anything special.

investment or trading, in contrast to projects above the top 100 are more risky. Because usually the volume is low, so it's more
