This is an important question.
The definite answer is: Yes!

I agree that good artwork is needed to make Zibcoin a success. Unfortunately, I'm not an artist.

Therefore, I call out for a public competition to make the most creative Zibcoin artwork. Let's think about ZIB, the space dog, and anything else that supports our idea.
The winners will be awarded a honored place in the Zibcoin community.

1 000 000 zibcoins = 1 bitcoin
0.000 001 bitcoins = 1 zibcoin

So, Zibcoin and Bitcoin are both referring to the very same monetary system, they are just different units.

I think that both SI and Tonal are too difficult for everyday usage.
In everyday usage, what actually matters are short and memorable words, combined with a system that people are already familiar with.

People are already familiar with dollars and cents, i.e. 1 dollar = 100 cents.
"Zib" tries to do the same thing with satoshis, i.e. 1 zib = 100 satoshis.


If you just say "zib" without "coin", then it doesn't sound that much like an altcoin anymore.

"Zib" is the only integral part of this proposal, everything else is subject to discussion.
