I understand where you are coming from . It's not right to advertise for shit projects but it's really difficult sometime to identify bad projects which do bounties. I remember there was a bounty or airdrop for ethereum hard fork called something like eth 2.0 , turned out to be a scam.

One thing that I don't understand is why users continue to enroll to these "shit" bounties. No matter how scammy a project may seem, they never fail to get bounty hunters to participate in the bounty campaigns. First of all, the bounty hunters need to have some self-respect, and they need to grow a backbone and boycott the scammy campaigns.

Unfortunately we are going to get many posts about bounties that never paid hunters this year again, I'm just surprised that bounty hunters still put aside their only tool (Research) to detect scam projects
The only tool that will lessen the chance of being scammed around this industry, doing your own research enhance your protections as many scammers who keep creating coin and offers promising rewards, in order not to waste your time and the possibilities of being hacked, research carefully and make sure you have the right knowledge regarding to the projects and the team that surrounds it. however, I think almost all bounty hunters have done the research, and are careful of scammers. however, we really don't know if they want to fool us. so far, I have also gotten several scam projects, and have no value so far. the only way to avoid that is to keep looking for information, because there may be times when we know that the project that we support has the potential to be a scam before the project is over. Read the documentation and consider the feasibility of the project is what hunters are doing since the scam projects became more but unfortunately, the level of design of these scammers is so high, we can't even distinguish it easily until the final result is found, a lot of people have used their precious time to advertise fraudulent and worthless bounty, you are not a rare case. The method that is more thorough and accurate to avoid these fake bounty is nonexistent, luck is probably the only base, the information we seek is sometimes unreliable

This is just the way bounty works nowadays. Most bounty hunters doesn't really care if they are participating in a shitty project as long as they can profit from it. Even if those projects are made by 12 years old, they will still take it if there's opportunity. To be fair, it's pretty difficult to identify good projects to bad ones and most bounty hunters prefer joining as many as they can so they can profit from the process of elimination. It's really bad though especially that ICO's credibility is getting reduce along with bounty campaign's success.
Even shit projects can give you decent rewards if you dump fast enough.

I have diffrent opionion, Hitmex unlike others provide real and working exchange solutions, you can immediately sell Hitmex tokens after you receive it from the campaign so it only brings a trust into this campaign and exchange. Which campaign is giving tradeable tokens to the community?
I'm agree with you my friend, Hitmex token (BMEX) already trade-able, Once they paid us let's dumps. Nothing can complain again right? And also it seems their was really serious to their project because they have a big buy order like more than 8BTC. Do you think this doubted exchange? In my experienced I tried to deposit some alt coin there and also withdraw and nothings problem about my things did.

In my opinion, you are accusing some Bounties of a different logic. For example the Hitmex bounty, as far as I am concerned, did not find out if Hitmax was a con artist. even now there has been no verdict from the forum stating Hitmex is a fraud. so I think you have been wrong in evaluating it.

Bounty campaigns with millions dollars pool always make me suspicious. Actually, I have participated in some of these campaigns but I received almost nothing. For those projects, they deliberately offered great rewards just to attract inexperienced hunters.

The number of bounty campaign is very less now... Perhaps it is because in recent times many projects have been exposed as scam (fake team and plagiarized whitepaper) and this has greatly reduced investor interest in these new projects. 1. Hitmex has no good team I agree with all your arguments. did you see the team members on that site? I did several searches on google and did not find information about the team of that project. Does anyone know who the owner of the exchange is? 2. Bright Nuclear Bounty: Maybe they are better in photoshop, so, they designed a photo to create a hype that they are gonna list in many top exchanges like OKEx, Lbank, Hotbit and so on. Okay, just visit their website, you will realize how shit this project is, the website interface is the same type as the Hitmex whitepaper, I mean a kid developer made that website! Bounty Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5228558.new#newI didn’t see how big investors would be interested in this project, instead of putting photos of team members, they just put names of team members... honestly it’s a project that doesn’t have great news for the market 3. Ozcar: 6 Million USD worthy bounty campaign, an ICO project that has zero vision. You don't believe me? Visit their website and read those words, please! You will realize that! They don't have any potential partner, advisor! It seems they bought a crypto theme and built the website! They attached a photo in the website that Ozcar has been covered by the Yahoo, Forbes and other top media platform. I asked to provide the link, not a photo. You know what, they failed to provide those! Bounty Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229268.0another strange project that has a scam accusation: OZCAR Platform [OCR] - Fake Team - Possibility Scam Project4. Ripple Decentralized: Have you remembered about ETCV, Ethereum Vision bounty last year? A fake and scam attempted were taken by the scammer. There is no connection between Ripple and Ripple decentralized too. Rather this Ripple decentralized bounty is just not only shit, rather a scam. So, stop doing this from right now. Bounty Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5229448.0meaningless project

Ozcar project has a scam accusations by posting fake team, they are trying to save face by defending their project, in the first place they should not fake their team, it's a deception on their part and if you want millions from investors you will never fake any information about your project, it's a big no.

After all, the more scam we can identify, the better our skills at identifying such projects will be. Personally, I will be happy to follow the fate of these projects and try to find patterns between them, I think there will be much more than I can imagine.

Bounty hunters are still trying their luck with bounty campaigns despite the fact that there's no assurance of getting paid accordingly. No matter how hard we try to do our research, it's not easy to determine if bounty campaigns are scam or not. We can't blame the participants of those projects because most of us will take the risk just to earn a good amount.

in my opinion, if the bounty hunter gets a project that is not good, it can be an experience for them to be able to choose a better. investors will also be more careful in choosing projects to invest.
to get a good prize in my opinion read whitepaper, who is a bounty manager, who is a developer, and others. so we believe this is a very good project to do.

Thats why I am participating mostly in exchange bpunty campaigns because instead of others they generate a real profit so the token could remain its value.

Actually it's very difficult to ensure that the bounty is scam or not, after going through the white paper, team members everything I got scammed for a bounty project as well. Scam projects have unrealistic goals I don't even want to blame the bounty managers because even they are paid, In most cases the organizer pay the tokens to the investors but they won't pay for those hardworking bounty Hunters this is the bitter truth.
Bounty manager is not to be blamed for most of the cases, but if a bounty manager keeps bringing shit bounty, then maybe we should care of that! You are right, many projects look good, but in the end, they do scam! And many projects look not that better, like mb8 coin, but the reward or project can give you huge money!

Yeah, they have that amazing marketing that make you question everything about your research and that is their power. You can be the greatest investor of all time in crypto space and you could basically do all the research and data and read whitepaper and basically do everything you need to do and even consider the coin or token not a good one but sometimes they do marketing so so so well that you fell victim to them.
Those bounties and hard work sometimes makes a low life bad coin or token very loved by many people even if they are horrible ones. So it is a fight between your brain and your heart to stop your heart by your brain but ignore your brain by your heart.

I have also felt that the project you mentioned is not good, so I did not join the bounty. Especially with Ripple Decentralized, without any tilted news they seemed to want to take over Ripple easily. From the beginning these projects were already suspicious

Many bounty hunters do not consider projects and look for projects that are listed and have the probability of paying. Joining a campaign nowadays is like a gamble since you take a risk either of you will get paid or not, is it legitimate or not, or if will it have a value in the future or not. It's each participant's discretion where to join. What bounty hunters should learn is to be responsible not to promote scam bounties since this kind of project kills the whole crypto community, investors had already been weary on investing their money in crypto due to the numbers of scam projects in crypto.

I think they have no choice. Rather than posting and not get incentivized, they try altcoin bounty campaign hoping that their effort won't be wasted even though they know that it is like a lottery to join the altcoin bounty campaign now a day. I bet they won't apply to this kind of shit bounty if they are able to find a BTC paying bounty campaign and qualified to join it.

I think they just want to attract more new investors.

I findi it quite hard to determine which campaign are scam or not,or which campaign has high possibility of succeeding. Sometimes I refer to their ANN thread or white paper but I sometimes there is no white paper so I will ignore that campaign. I am also judging the presentation of their bounty. If I am still not sure about the campaign I am asking my friend. He judge better than me. If I become satisfied to it I look into its reward and make a computation of how much money I earn in the project. I really don't wanna waste my time in something unprofitable.
