Yes Joshua is the overwhelming favourite to win the fight and rightly so. I think after what happened with Ruiz he will never ever underestimate his opponent but he knows he should win it. I think Pulev might hit the canvas once or twice but if Joshua wins it will be a points decision or stoppage in the later rounds as Pulev tires. The mediation between Fury and Wilder is probably going on behind the scenes but as you said everything is so low key with it, the media are not picking up on anything related to it. People are talking more about Fury-Joshua than Fury-Wilder III.

33 vote for Joshua 7 votes for Pulev 0 votes for a draw
A massive 82.5% of voters in this poll think Joshua but to be honest I would have the percentage would have been much higher but I would advise for all to take caution
We'll he's certainly the strong favourite but so he was for the Ruiz fight and look what happened there. I'll be watching the fight for sure. Luckily it's on Dazn so I don't have to pay the £25 for PPV. In related news the WBC has seemingly given the go ahead for the Fury/Joshua fight: https://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/12145775/tyson-fury-can-pursue-undisputed-world-title-clash-with-anthony-joshua-says-wbc-president-mauricio-sulaimanBut that would probably be invalidated if the appeal still goes through in favour of Wilder. No idea what's going on with the mediation though as it's been pretty quiet on that front. There are still some factors that can derail the undisputed fight between Fury and Joshua. Oleksandr Usyk is still the mandatory for the WBO and he is refusing to step aside. I don't think you can legally force Fury to fight somebody he doesn't want to face but it will be interesting to see how this legal situation with Wilder turns out. Maybe he will have to pay him a lot of money for breach of contract. If the WBO says Joshua must face Usyk next, then I would expect Fury to concede to Wilder's demand and fight him again.

Well, I believe that the fight was postponed twice the first match should be 2017, -- but Pulev had a shoulder injury that made replaced by Carlos Takam, and supposedly the fight was scheduled to last March again but due to the pandemic, it was postponed again and rescheduled this 12th of December. I can see that the bulk of bets in this fight would go with Joshua for he has proven himself in this career and Pulev on the other hand he had also shown good fight previously, and he will not become a mandatory challenger to Joshua if he doesn't deserve it, but if I will choose from these two I should still go for [Joshua].

Voted for Joshua here as well. Even the odds in sportsbooks are favouring Joshua. But you will go home as big winner if you bet on Pulev and if it will end up being him the winner. Betting on Joshua has very small profits to gain. Unless, you are betting big amount here. https://www.bestodds.ai/odds/sport-boxing/matchups/anthony-oluwafemi-olaseni-joshua-vs-kubrat-pulev

He has learned mate, he will not be as aggressive as he was before because it will make him careless, the loss against Ruiz was already enough for him to adjust and use his advantage over a fighter, slowly but at least a sure win for him. A KO win or decision, it doesn't matter because he will fight Fury next and that's the biggest fight of his career.

Fury helping this fight by adding some fuel to the fire: Fury To Joshua: I'm Coming For You, I Want To Smash Your Face In! "Anthony Joshua, has it ever dawned on you I'm not interested in being a superstar, or famous. I'm a fighting man and only interested in smashing your face in, you keep the stardom, I'll stay real, you big dosser. I'm coming for you superstar, tick tock tick tock," Fury stated. https://www.boxingscene.com/fury-joshua-im-coming-you-i-want-smash-your-face--153859Lol, Joshua should thank the Gypsy King here, because we all know that he is still the A-side in heavyweight and he is also swarm by boxing media. So every time he opens his mouth and talk about Joshua, then it's a plus for him since he is the busier with a schedule fight with Pulev.

I don't know if Joshua's confidence is already back but the way i saw it on the rematch against Ruiz, it's still not there. He was vey clever on using his jabs to keep Ruiz at bay which was his biggest advantage on that rematch but on this upcoming fight against Pulev, they got almost the same reach and the advantage of AJ is only his age so far . If AJ won't be aggressive here then i think there will be no KO as he will be playing safe and a bet for AJ by Decision @4.50 is imminent for me.

43 votes in the poll so far
35 vote for Joshua 7 votes for Pulev 1 votes for a draw
This is an interesting article from the bbc sports website. It shows Joshua in a different light, much more mature and more focused on trying to keep up the possibility of a fight with Fury but never underestimating his next opponent.
Joshua knows Pulev is a very dangerous fighter who might be 8 years older than Joshua but has a fantastic record of 29 fights and just one loss whereas Joshua has 24 fights and 23 wins.
Joshua has his solitary defeat by Ruiz. Pulev had his solitary defeat at the hands of the legendary Wladimir Klitschko when he was knocked out flat in the 5th round but he was knocked down twice in the first round and once in the third before finally being knocked out in the 5th.
It will be interesting to see if Joshua tries to out-box Pulev for long run an go for a points win just he successfully did against Ruiz in the rematch, or if he tries to go for an early win by trying to knock him out. Pulev does not have the speed of punches like Ruiz but he seems to be a more powerful hitter than Ruiz. This should be a great fight to watch because both will be desperate to win.

It's because Ruiz did knock him out in their first fight. So in the rematch he is more cautious and just cruising for a victory, just to be in the safe side. So good tactic by Joshua and not pushing to go for the knock out so I would say that his confidence his back. If AJ won't be aggressive here then i think there will be no KO as he will be playing safe and a bet for AJ by Decision @4.50 is imminent for me.
Pulev is a different opponent though, so I think Joshua will go aggressive again and will look for a knockout win here. And I'm sure he is not taking this fight lightly and over look Pulev the way he over look Ruiz and not thinking of his potential fight with Wilder.

That's what we wanted to see, all British domestic fight, and two of the hottest heavyweight right now. But we all need to wait because all circumstance should be perfect (a) Joshua wins (b) Fury wait for the arbitration and favoring him against Wilder.

If it will also go in scorecard, Joshua might get the vote of the judges since he'll bring bigger fight if he wins, and it's a mush win for him, so those corrupt judges will certainly favor him if they exist. . Wilder ain't stopping, he is giving Fury some problem because Fury choose not to fight him anymore. But is it possible for Fury to fight Joshua even if the lawsuit Wilder filed has not be decided yet?

Depends on the Wilder arbitration decision which I haven't heard anything about in weeks. Either way I'm sure we won't see a fight between those two anytime soon as both parties will probably quibble over everything and drag it out trying to get the best deals from themselves, and there's still the issue of spectators not being allowed in fully so I'm sure the fight won't go ahead unless they can pack out a stadium as it will easily sell out the largest of venues in the UK. I think it's safe to say it will be the biggest British boxing fight ever so they're going to want to maximise revenues from it. Shame Fury has said he won't be in attendance for the AJ fight. It would have been interesting to get them face to face for an interview from Fury about what's going on with the fight and potential Wilder rematch. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-9037163/Tyson-Fury-confirms-NOT-attend-Anthony-Joshuas-heavyweight-clash-Kubrat-Pulev.htmlTyson Fury confirms he will NOT attend Anthony Joshua's heavyweight clash with Kubrat Pulev after Eddie Hearn invited the Gypsy King to a 'Sunday roast and a cuppa' after taking in his arch rival's bout
Tyson Fury has confirmed he will not attend Anthony Joshua's fight on Saturday The Gypsy King was invited to the event at Wembley Arena by Eddie Hearn However, the WBC champion says he will be training at home instead Fury has been linked with an all-British unification bout with AJ next year

Joshua has a huge edge from all angle but he should knock Pulev out, Pulev is old he was knock out by Klitscko when they fought it should be easy for Joshua to knock Pulev out so he will have an impressive win going for the much awaited Fury encounter since Fury just come out from a very impressive knock out win against Wilder.

I like Pulev, but I want Anthony Joshua to win.
Then finaly we will be able to watch Anthony Joshua - Tyson Fury, where I'm sure that the Gypsy King will beat the s**t out of Joshua and all belts will be united. Most boxing fans want to see Fury fight Joshua and it could happen providing Joshua defeats Pulev because that would be the next logical step. I am sure even if there was litigation and Fury lost the case, he would be ordered by a judge to either surrender his championship title or fight Wilder, either way Fury will not fight Wilder and would happily fight Joshua instead. Nah, I believe that Joshua will win, but not with a KO. As more realistic tactic I see running-around that Joshua used in the second Ruiz game. Pulev is old.
I will bet Joshua to win with a unanimous decision! I think the same, Joshua will not be able to knock out Pulev but will on a unanimous points decision, that would set him up against Fury in an all British fight for the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. This is a different fighter, he hasn't fought Pulev before but AJ has learned in the past so he will not make the same mistakes again. Winning by KO or decision, that's all possible but a win here is a ticket to fight Fury and that fight he has no choice but to be aggressive. Joshua seems focused, he probably will not be allowing Pulev to dominate in the way Ruiz did in the first fight and he will be going in to the fight with a view to go the distance. Like you said, a win for Joshua means a fight with Fury but let us not forget if Pulev then he would also be looking for the biggest pay day of his life with a shot at fury.
