Introduction

Our mission - FREE

You have the right to freedom of transaction: to freely transfer value whenever and however you see fit, in either physical or digital form. Before the inception of Bitcoin, commerce on the Internet had come to almost exclusively rely on centralized institutions serving as trusted third parties to process electronic payments. These institutions effectively serve as gatekeepers for these financial markets, limiting your freedom of transaction. Bitcoin sought to provide more freedom by indiscriminately providing the means to create an account (ie. bank account), with the added benefit of reliable, fast and low-cost transactions. hybrix proposes a means to interconnect most ledger technologies and hereby safeguard and expand your freedom of transaction.

The problem - COLLABORATE

Many distributed ledger technologies (DLTs for short) have been developed in parallel and subsequent to Bitcoin. As a result, multitude of crypto islands and archipelagos have emerged, each with considerable resources invested in both technological development and financial assets. Substantial efforts have been made to strive for interoperability between them. The flow of transactions between systems, however, could be greater, if the ocean that surrounds them is utilized to harness their combined power, irrespectively and agnostically.

Our solution - HYBRIX SAYS HY

The solution we propose is the HY token. HY strives to be the token to bind them all, championing interoperability by granting the freedom to transact on and with any DLT. HY operates on a second-level token protocol that can transact units of account on a single ledger, or between a vast number of DLTs. Its transactions are stored on the DLT involved. This gives its users the advantage of using the ledger system that best suits their needs.

The HY token will be used as a store of value and as a currency for token sales. There will be a limited supply of 21 million tokens with a deflationary emission curve (as homage to Bitcoin). Currently, hybrix has developed a multi-ledger platform and API that connects 30+ blockchains and offers developers an open-source solution to build multi-blockchain applications that can sign transactions client-side.
The hybrix token is a cross-ledger colored coin: technically borderless, not restricted to any single distributed ledger. Every distributed ledger and blockchain has its own strengths.
The hybrix token gives access to all these benefits as it exists on top of all distributed ledger systems.
The open hybrix protocol enables free transport of value between all distributed ledgers. A welcoming addition next to the possibilities of atomic swaps and DEXes.

We are a group of young professionals based in the centre of The Netherlands at the core of the blockchain community in Utrecht, we have been active in the blockchain scene from the start and are strong supporters of its initial values.
We are working together to improve the quality and equality of the Internet and, therefore, the real world. Each member of the team has individual expertises, ranging from cryptography to marketing and from trading to social entrepreneurship. Token


The current HY token is an ERC20 token. The token is a placeholder for the future token, which will be an interoperable token that operates on a second level token protocol. This means that HY will not bound to any blockchains and can transfer value frictionless across existing blockchains and ledgers.

Use cases

The main use cases of the HY token are:

● Registration and renewal fees for new cross-ledger tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol 


● Settlement of fees for network validators for hybrix 


● Settlement of fees for network validations for other tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol

Both share team members and work with interoperability. It's a different system and different way to go about it. I believe a lot will become clear when we can post the whitepaper

There are many reputable manager that handle here. You can check the service section. But for altcoin project, I always see Arteezy, Julerz12 and Cryptobrainboss handle it.

The token indeed uses a second layer protocol to make on-chain transactions. By doing this we enable Freedom of Transaction, so you can transact freely over all supported chains.

On the site you will see hybrix product (https://hybrix.io/products) then chose the wallet. They are provide web wallet and command line wallet.

It's like kaconk said: currently, the wallet and platform is supporting 387 tokens on 31 different chains. You can use the API and library to communicate with these blockchains using one language. Say if you wanted to develop something and communicate to multiple chains, you could use our library for free to do so.

To see which assets are supported, you can perform an API call: https://api.hybrix.io/asset

All these assets are also supported by the explorer (https://explorer.hybrix.io) and by the Internet of Coins wallet, which is using the hybrix platform (https://wallet.internetofcoins.org). If you are missing certain tokens or coins, you can add them with a pull request and a recipe.

An easy guide can be found here: https://internetofcoins.org/blog/easy-steps-to-add-token-support . It's only dated in the way that this links to the old repo. Just do the PR on the hybrix repo.

Thanks! When generating a wallet, you will be the one generating the keys. We cannot keep record of any keys, because this is all done deterministically #proofofkeys. All transactions are signed on the client side as well!

Social media and the community of projects play a pretty important role in how projects become a success. The project is not new. They are here, if I'm not mistaken, 2017 or 2018. They also have a bounty before both BTC payment and Hybrid (which is Hybrix today) payment. The long development is now seeing a good result.

hybrix has decided to go into more detail after an article stirred up some outrage among supporters of Andreas Antonopoulos on social media. The article titled Andreas Antonopoulos accused of Plagiarism for “Internet of Money” was published in the period right after April fools and caused a stir of confusion within the community.

Andreas Antonopoulos is one of the most influential and unbiased sources of knowledge and technology in the blockchain world. There have not been many people who have had such a positive impact on education on Bitcoin and Blockchain technology as him. He is an authority on blockchain and digital security, has advised large US companies on data security and has written hundreds of articles about cryptography, security, distributed ledgers, cloud computing and bitcoin.

Several of his talks and works were compiled into a series called the “Internet of Money” which became bestsellers. The non-profit open source project hybrix put out “a sarcasm article which was meant to herald his achievements for the community in an ironic way” as was phrased in a statement on Discord. Although the article was drenched in irony, with quotes like “The company says Antonopoulos should stop promoting the freedom of the Internet and the freedom of money: ‘This is already done by us!’”, some of the irony was lost on its readers.

In a recent tweet, Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin calls for putting resources towards a decentralized exchange system between Ethereum and Bitcoin and between Ethereum and other blockchains[1]. “It’s embarrassing that we still can’t easily move between the two largest crypto ecosystems trustlessly”. Solutions are on their way, as the hundreds of replies indicate. One of several under the radar projects that is on the verge of breakthrough in fixin underlying problems is hybrix. Their token, which will live on a second-layer protocol, sees the light of day next month in May and is expected to bridge the blockchain’s gaps differently.

Bridging blockchain’s gaps is a topic that’s been written about extensively.[2] Last year, Andreas Antonopoulos “articulated why ‘winner takes all’ is out and inter-blockchain communication is in, at the Blockstack Summit in San Francisco.” [3] With projects offering atomic swaps and decentralized exchanges, some bridges have already been built.

An issue, however, with this way of working is that in some situations the bridge has to be built from both ways. If the blockchain supports smart contracts, like Ethereum, atomic swaps are already supported[4]. If there are no atomic swaps (like with Bitcoin), then compatibility needs to be built from the other chain’s side.

In other words, compatibility is built, one project after the other, but there is no singular common compatibility platform yet; no bridge yet to integrate them all. A new solution may be on its way next month and it’s not what many people expect.

Hybrix has announced the release of multi ledger tokens on a second-layer protocol[5]. Multi ledger tokens are tokens that exist on multiple chains at the same time and are argued to be an important innovation for the core functionality of blockchain and distributed ledger protocols. A major advantage over atomic swaps is that the compatibility does not have to be built in; it works on all compatible ledgers.

These multi ledger tokens are a new phenomenon in the scene. Origins can be traced back to Colored Coins. Colored Coins have been a novelty in the Bitcoin scene as they popped up in about 2015[6]. These are a collection of coins that use the metadata of Bitcoin transactions to host instructions for their own currency. The new multi-ledger tokens are tokens that use metadata of multiple blockchains to record transactions of their own currency. The consensus mechanisms of the ‘hijacked’ blockchains validate the transactions of the multi ledger token, which eliminates the need for a new chain.

Hybrix has a history of promoting collaboration between chains. Founder Joachim de Koning explains: ”We see hybrix as a way to connect what’s happening on the isolated networks of existing DLTs and improve decentralization, without giving in on security or usability.”

According to Forrester Research’s 2020 Predictions[7], enterprises utilizing blockchain should switch their focus toward integrating distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) with legacy data systems and ensure they can communicate with other external blockchains. This advice is part of a set of predictions which highlight several upcoming challenges for the nascent electronic ledger technology. The multi ledger tokens are an excellent chance for companies to venture into the realm of interoperability.

I couldn't call it unfair. There are lots of big projects that held a signature campaign here with only high ranks involved. This is the first time I saw someone got a problem with that. It's not an obligation of any company to accept all ranks. The brand also accepted many users during its first signature campaign. I saw their other bounties is accepting low ranks, they can join there instead.

they have the prerogative to accept what level of user they want as this is their project. also, if you can see several sig campaigns promoting gambling sites, they are really more into hero/legendary levels. I don't see this as unfair as they are the ones paying those participants and if they see that their campaign will be effective by hiring those kind of users, then they can do so.

Solution to those, who might have same issue. As it is impossible to change gas value on https://wallet2.internetofcoins.org, you should use myetherwallet instead.

While in the wallet click go to "ETH Ethereum", click "export", "click "show private keys". Then go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/ , simply log-in with your private key and set transaction speed as you want.

If this project is really solid, they will increase their price later on. But if it will continue to drop and will not recover, then another weak platform in the making. But from the looks of it, hybrix has good foundation so hopefully, they can recover their worth in the market.

That doesn't make sense for me when the price was going down from above $3 to the $0.5 and when you called that as a solid project and that will never happen caused by the demand will create a buy wall to support the price.

In the very beginning I've started from doing with what you wrote, but that wont help. Just tried to to everything same next day with "fast" option of transaction and everything went smooth. Probably it was a network issue, because I've spent 0.001 on transaction and it went ok, but previously transaction with 0.002 network fee failed.

You are so lucky on this project. Because honestly, a lot of these 2017 ICO projects were gone already. I had one invested before and unfortunately all their links (website/social media channels/github) were long  gone already. Very few actually survived from that ICO period days. Seems hybrix project is keeping their ground here.

From what I remember the last time I visited their site, they were only supporting 31 blockchains, now, they have 34. They are really keeping up with the market.

We are now working on a bridge between the two to make interaction between both ledgers seamless. If you would like to make a HY transaction, the wallet.hybrix.io wallet will automatically choose the cheapest chain available in terms of transaction costs. Currently that will be TOMO.HY where the fee is very low, and denominated in HY (the fee is given to miners in the Tomo network).

The HY token is multi-ledger and thus can utilize the cheapest or most secure chain as transport. It is used as collateral during swap and value moving operations. We are currently implementing the deal engine and hope to have a working setup very soon.

The hybrix hydra token (HY) is a unified asset. This means it has token representations on several chains that are connected and unified into one asset. Moving value between chains can be done easily through the hybrix wallet, or by using third-party bridges. HY shows the power of a hybrix unified asset. Every chain or ledger has its own unique properties, and one can choose what to use and how.
Our latest HY expansion is on Binance Smart Chain. HY has a special function here: you are able to stake it for transaction fees. This means that on every transaction a percentage is sent back to all holders of HY on Binance Smart Chain. Be aware that moving HY on this chain will cost 3% per transaction. So make sure to keep that in mind when staking.
