Why did you deposit 1 Ethereum in exchange nobody hear about? There're so many good exchanges with a good reputation, you should make a quick research before you deposit big money anywhere!

SOrry to be a bit pedantic, but do you mean "stole" as in, they had an issue with your KYC and you didn't bother answering? I've seen it happen too many times, it's just a matter of reading their emails thoroughly.

That's how I was able to finally get my KYC done, I realized the last few emails they had sent me all asked for a PHOTO of my passport, I was sending a scanned document, so I did, and once I sent the PHOTO as they had requested and it wasn't more than 2 hours that I Was able to use my account normally again. Maybe try contacting them once more and see if you can get your issue fixed!

To be honest, I have experience with HitBTC and their support is horrible. You may get lucky and have all your KYC done easily but no doubt, others will met trouble from HitBTC. Definitely HitBTC on my list for bad exchange.

Why have you selected HitBTC to trade? It is well knows information about their support team. Why not go to Binance or Bithumb? Same KYC procedure, but the support if far more professional. Why do you even need to pass KYC? Trade somewhere where KYC is not needed. I'm sure your trading volume is not more than 2BTC.

If it is not more than 2BTC then I think there is no need to do KYC I often make withdrawals with less than 2BTC so it's fine there are no obstacles at all.
Binance is much better than other exchanges.

I dont know if it was only me but most exchanges especially here in Asia have the same customer service support. I happened to need a support from this exchange P2PB2B then the following week I was also trading on a different exchange (forgot the name) and needed help from their customer support and it were the same. Same name, same way of responding. I think theses exchanges have made contract to third party BPO industries. That is why some support are horrible because their supports are working on multiple exchanges.

Only on vindax I had a withdrawal transaction problem then I decided to leave the exchange fortunately I haven't deposited all the coins I have and run to another exchange

I don't like these exchanges either because they asked too much fees on their withdrawals which is totally blatant abuse to their users and  that is why they are hated by the community for it. They are also famous of making trading bots, creating fake volumes and listing poor projects in their exchanges. Special mention to vindax, which is really a very bad exchange by far of the four that killed many projects due to low trading activities and always having an  imminent system maintenance.

Because these exchanges are unregulated and legal complains may not affect on them. These abusers that are obviously doing their scams and fraudulent activities are in need of someone or third party that will going to stop or put an end. I know that it is not good to rely on government but since there are still falling from these traps of these exchanges, i bet it is somehow in need to report and make them stop of their wrong doings. For now, only things we can do is to keep all crypto users aware as much as possible and this one that OP made is a good one to start.

I have never heard of this exchange, there are so many exchanges in this market, they are scams and if someone deposits money in it they will lose it for sure. Choose the biggest exchanges and use them, I believe your money will always be safe

I really hate these exchanges especially the P2PB2B exchange as I have a very bad experience in using it. They are very good in faking their volumes and etc. just to get a client or an
investor.

I love this thread and love it when hitbts hate. These assholes never allowed me to access my account. But that's good. I never go there again

Right now it's better to ignore small exchanges that do IEO, even if the project has good quality the exchange will kill the projects reputation, lack of volume and lack of trust is present on those small exchanges like p2pb2b or vindax

Most times people use small exchanges because they have no option, maybe that's the only exchange where the coin they want to trade is listed. However, some exchanges should be totally avoided, I remember losing huge funds trying to trade a token on HiBTC (not HITBTC) in the past. Lesson learnt the hard way, I don't even go close to exchanges without large daily volumes, tight security and excellent reputation.

You are absolutely right that you should never use small exchanges because small exchanges do not yet have good security, and can still end up being a scam

I used 2 of the 4 exchangers listed, and I agree how bad they are. Now you really have to choose exchangers that have a high level of popularity and user trust to avoid a scam. I prefer local exchanger for some reason although there are some rules which make it difficult, i don't trust completely even for big exchangers.

That is why you have to analyze before making a transaction, the mentioned exchanges do have bad rumors about them, starting from long responses, WD pending, and many other problems.
but for the class of binance, okex, huobi, I think saying foreign exchange is bad is not right.

most likely on these exchanges you simply will never be able to sell your coins. I see how they manipulate people and they bring money to the exchange but could not withdraw it later

I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day

I have heard of vindax through a friend. Tho i havent really gotten the time to check it out yet, he said it was too dodgy and too generic on what its offering, its like theyre not even trying to be original anymore, just sticking to a formula. Looks like leaning on a comfort zone type of set up. So yeah, pass.

Many small exchanges have bad trading volumes that's why they are forced to use fake volumes sometimes, I don't blame them completely like that, it's a must to make things looking good on such exchange but as for p2pb2b exchange it's a different case, the reason why I hate this platform is because of worse results from all IEO launchpad that took place on the exchange
