Is this a scam?
I invested $ 2,000 in the TRX-DeFi Mining pool through Tronlink Pro. A few days later I got the following message when I started Tronlink:

You will be able to earn 15% of your principal every day. The staking activity expires on May 13th. Please apply to staking as soon as possible. I accepted the offer and applied.
After signing up, I received a new message:
"Hello, dear user, congratulations on your successful signing and pledge, the system will automatically transfer your USDT to our mining pool system, you will be in our contract for 20days, during the contract period you can get 15% of the income every day And during the pledge period, you can increase the amount, and the increased amount during the pledge period can also get 15% of the daily income, and you can receive additional rewards after the pledge ends.Thank you for supporting our DeFi mining pool system and have a nice day. "
After a few days, the system sends me a new message that reads:
Hello, dear user, you have become a pledge member, you can get 15% of the principal every day. During the pledge period, you must complete the tasks of the DEFI system so that you can get higher returns. You need to deposit 3000 USDT and the DEFI system will reward you with 1500 USDT. All add up to 4500 USDT will be deposited into your mining pool. You need to do it by May 18st. Otherwise, it will be considered as your default, and the DEFI system will freeze your income. "
My question is, has anyone had the same or similar experiences.
Is it a scam?

1000% Ponzi scam and how the hck you invest 2000$ to a defi app without doing research first? DeFi should not contact you via email since all transactions should be decentralized and doesn't need conversation from the defi side The percentage return per day is so high and the thing that requiring you to do certain things just to get more benefits is red flag already.

You should avoid that service because that is not DeFi! DeFi means Decentralized Finance that doesn't require you to create account using email. You just need to connect your wallet to interact on a real DeFi. Sorry for your loss and cheer up!

I did not mention in my first post that I invested money in my Mining Fund in the following way:
I was contacted by a girl who said WhatsApp and introduced herself as Sarah from Ukraine but that she currently lives in Paris. After a normal conversation she told me that there are great opportunities to make money through cryptocurrencies.
She persuaded me to invest $ 150 to start with.
She explained everything to me and helped step by step. First I downloaded the OKX application. Through this app I bought Crypto which has been converted to TRX.
The next step was to download the Tronlink pro app. I registered on that app. When I did that, with her help, I came to the wallet address that I copied. After that I went back to the OKX app and set up a TRX transfer to my walet address I got on Tronlink. The next step was again on Tronlink where I typed the following link https://deif.etc-defi918.xyz to log in to my walet or My Pool. When I logged in I saw my minings pool and the corresponding amount I had invested in TRX.
Everything is still fine, I still have no doubt. After two or three days, Sarah started persuading me to invest more money because the profit would be higher. I listened to her and invested another $ 1,850 on two occasions. So $ 2,000 in total.

Classic scam scheme. Unfortunately, your money is lost and you can do nothing about it.

Do not re-enter larger funds into that platform. Up to this point you have basically lost $2k of your money to scammers.

If you want at least a small part of your funds back, you (somehow) try to persuade the scammer by pretending you are still in the scam scenario and saying "I will invest more after my first investment pays off". But remember my first suggestion.

Try to convince the scammer that you want to invest more and try this if you can get your capital since if you keep wait for your ROI to come then its really impossible for it to come. The scammer is just trying to scam you again so you should stop and wait on what action made by scammer also learn to move on starting today since for sure that scammer will never return your money.

Im sorry for your lose but you have been scammed. You have sent your money into the garbage scammer. There are so many scam defi. it's a fake project and you have become a victim from the scammers. You shall not follow the further instruction that already sent to your email because that was a scam. Stop wasting your money for the scam project. It's better if you are asking us before you are trying to send or do anything with the defi platforms. We can help you to avoid the scam project like this by verifying it.

If you are about to invest in a Defi. Make sure it is a big defi site. Do not get attracted with small defi sites claiming to give you high APR. Chances most of these sprout defi sites are scams. Make sure to it is credible and lots of people are already trading on it.

Thats the thing. Maybe this website isnt legit. Sometime we thought of a good marginal profit the platform offers but its lack factors to be called legit. Yes their apy is really attractive for profits but you see even a latger defi platform such as luna is not safe too. What more a never heard one and its on tron which we knew there are lots of scammers too.

If you are about to invest in a Defi. Make sure it is a big defi site. Do not get attracted with small defi sites claiming to give you high APR. Chances most of these sprout defi sites are scams. Make sure to it is credible and lots of people are already trading on it.

Big or small actually does not make the project safer unless you are talking about IDO launchpads that need whitelist and a high price to enter,,, makes it a bit safer and means not just any rando guy can launch for free but of course does not guarantee anything.

I have seen the biggest ones (Pancakeswap and Uniswap) still launch 99% scam IDOs from the offset.

Stick to swapping and liquidity provision on large liquidity pools that is the only way.

How on earth you would you fall into such victim with or without making proper researched about the App. This is automatically Scam why don't you raise alarm at the first time before furthering to make deposit the second time before asking here. I would love you to share some screenshots of their messages and your deposit Id.
Now i will ask you; Was a friend that refers you that app or you downloaded all alone without enquiries?

am not saying the site is a scam but i have the feeling that this site is indeed running a ponzi scheme. with high APY, expect that they will get it from somewhere, and that most likely will come from naive users that will send more money to them.
if the OP is asking from the users here about the same experience, i guess you won't find any as most users here can easily spot ponzi scheme and won't even send any penny to this kind of site.
i hope the OP can still get at least your original funds. but don't put more money into this. i have the feeling that you just got scammed and won't get what they promised.

@OP, any updates as it has been more than 10 days you have posted this thread. i hope he didn't send the additional 3k to these scammers.
