What I don't fully understand is why it was decided to change the name of the site. Surely that must also be very confusing for existing customers? If I were to play at a gambling site that suddenly has a different name, I would think about it. It would have been more convenient to set up a secondary site and keep the existing site. There's little to no negative feedback on btb88, so I don't see the problem with sticking to that site name.

You're right -- there wasn't any negative press, and we totally could have kept the btb88 name. But, we heard from some people (including on this forum) that the name didn't resonate with them. It's a name that made the most sense in China, where the translation of "bitcoin" sounds like b-t-b, but our players were coming from all over the world.

We talked to a lot of our most loyal and engaged current players when we were developing the new brand, and we couldn't have made such a big change without their feedback and help. Plus, we ran both websites at the same time for a few months with special bonuses for our current players to allow everyone to get switched over to the new brand.

With a new sportsbook and casino (coming real soon!), and even more features that we didn't offer on btb88, we're really excited about the new brand name. I think "Maverick" encompasses everything we want the new brand to be!
