I highly doubt we'll recover until the end of the year. This is going to take a very long time and I don't think crypto will be the asset people will focus on. I believe BTC will recover too, but it's most likely going to take a long while until then unfortunately.

On the other side though, this opens the opportunity for me to accumulate more. I always considered BTC dumps something like going back in time and getting a second chance to accumulate while prices are low. Hopefully things will evolve the same way they used to in the past few years as soon as the crisis is over.

How'd you say so? Unless you actually have proof from miners themselves whereas they said that they won't be selling. Not saying that that's impossible, but unless you know for sure, we're just merely speculating(which brings us back in the 'predicting' zone). Also, a halving doesn't automatically mean we're going to have a price rise especially in the short-term(and possibly mid term).

It's kind of weird that some things are taken for granted, and that anyone can even set a timeframe for the pandemic to end. All that is going on will have very likely long-lasting effects on the world economy which is almost certainly going into a new recession, in all likelihood a much heavier one than the one that happened 2008.

I think the price of BTC will not return so easily to the previous levels, because regardless of halving we have seen that BTC still follow the price of stocks, gold, oil and similar assets and that it has not proved resilient to such a major global crisis. But I don't think it's wise to let the virus spread uncontrollably in order to infect as many people as possible to gain immunity. I do believe you're right, but others are correct in mentioning that nobody knows what the situation's going to be for Bitcoin in a few months. Just recently there was a Bitcasino.io giveaway that has shown how difficult it is to predict the price of Bitcoin. Thats why LFC_Bitcoin has mentioned that we might get up move in last quater of this year.We all know this dumping in bitcoin market is due to poor performance in fiat market and that is because of covid-19.Streets are vacant,shops are closed and business are at rest but i disagree to the fact that this would be continued till the end of this year.I think sooner will be businesses up and running and this will cause infusion of liquidity which will help every market to get stabilized.

Gold doesn't have the "impossible to devalue" benefit. Take a look over the 3M charts and see what I'm talking about. Gold is unfortunately of no help in these times either. Nothing is, as far as I'm concerned. Literally everything is falling. It's like an everything-bubble, contrary to what I thought the bubble was made of. Manipulated or not, gold is unfortunately decreasing in value too.

At this exact moment I think holding cash is the best thing you can do for the short term: if you hold anything else, be it Gold, BTC, stocks or whatever you want, the decrease of their value + the inflation of fiat will make you crazy. But fiat will not hold on for much longer. These kinds of posts are pointless and have no baring on anything bitcoin related.  This is simply unproductive so whats the point of making a post like this?  First of all we have no idea how long the corona virus effect is going to last.  This could last several more months , if not longer.  There is no guarantee bitcoin will ever make you "huge amounts of profit" and it's silly just saying so.  Too many people are concerned about nothing other than how much money they can make in the bitcoin space.  How about concern yourself more so with adoptions, advancing bitcoin, telling others (friends and family) about bitcoin and making some real chance in the cryptocurrency "sphere'.

How'd you say so? Unless you actually have proof from miners themselves whereas they said that they won't be selling. Not saying that that's impossible, but unless you know for sure, we're just merely speculating(which brings us back in the 'predicting' zone). Also, a halving doesn't automatically mean we're going to have a price rise especially in the short-term(and possibly mid term).

I find it hard to believe that most cryptos that are worth anything will not go up in price. This is still the beginning and I believe crypto will mostly go up in the next few years with ups and downs in between. Some may settle at lesser value but I still believe more in the price going up then down. There so many reasons for me it is mainly the future new users adopting to the currency and we still have not gotten to the point where companies use crypto as stock options and when we do that will set off another crypto hype and rightfully so.

Your idea is great but for some wise investors they are doing something whatever the market situation is like they cut their loss and wait for the price to fall down and buy again but this will not apply to the newbies as they will not be able to get the right timing of buying and selling.
