So what do you think the effect of it?

I think it's very difficult times for crypto and traditional gambling websites. There is almost no active sports competitions left, so volume in sports betting will be close to zero.
And I doubt that people will start to gamble more. It's very difficult situation in the world and I think most people prefer to save their money because we don't know what will happen soon, there is lot of doubts about future and possibly upcoming recession. I think it's not worth to expect groving volumes in gambling industry soon.

The effect of Coronavirus is people will stay at their home if they don't have urgent things. I think there will be a new type of sport that people can do while they stay at home, and there will be a competition between them. I imagine that there is a battle between one player against another player, and the audience can place their bet and choose who will be the winner.

Since we have the technology, I think that a new type of sports will easy to grow among the people, and perhaps, they will like it because they don't have to go to other places.

That's a huge possibility we see many new gambling sites now maybe this is the positive impact in the online gambling industry, gamblers have two options now, gambling online or play online with bets, but between the two I'm pretty sure gambling online will be the choice of the majority.

Sport events are being cancelled though. NFL, boxing and MMA are just few. UK also stopped the horse race, what we can do right now is just the casinos from dice, blackjack, baccarat to poker. They are readily available in most bitcoin casinos.

The volume of people who prefers online gambling will surely increase as the virus is continuously spreading. Online transactions are safer because it doesn't require you to touch or hold any tangible money. On the other hand, it is true that the most vulnerable citizens here are those who are in a lower class, those poor people, those who are homeless. Though I don't really gamble in casinos, I think people will all be going to gamble online. We don't know if they would be using cryptocurrencies but in my case, I just use the cryptocurrencies I have. Some people would prefer online transactions from the bank or debit. I think cryptocurrency users will use cryptocurrencies and fiat users would still use fiat. The only thing that will change right now is the fact that they can't go to casinos and they are stuck gambling at their homes.

It's not like people have nothing better to do than gambling. Especially with the quarantine on, most people would probably find ways to go to their works and would most likely spend more time thinking about those things compared to when they were able to gamble. The issue here is that the quarantine gave time to those people that are students (mostly), but for those in the workforce, I think it actually added more load to them, since they have to think of a way to get to work while being safe from harm of the virus. And even if they did work at home, that's another issue altogether of time.

Additionally, spending money on gambling right now may not be the best idea, especially since you don't really know when something could hit you. You get the virus, supplies ran out so you have to buy it farther away or buy it at a more expensive cost. Stuff like that.
