Wallet which uses "," as radix point?

Hey there,
I write a german bitcoinblog (see signature). Whenever I write something like "0.154" Bitcoin, my readers shout: "In germany we use the ",", 0,154 is correct".
Its confusing for most people to use a software which shows the "wrong" radix points. When a german sees 1.100 he thinks it are One-thousand-one-hundred Bitcoin.

Wikipedia says, 60 percent of worlds population use the point to mark the radix point, and 24 percent use the comma.

Is it possible to implement a comma-setting for a wallet?

Yes - in Multibit, the comma is used as radix point when the language is set to German.

It's always make a lot of misunderstanding the rules of how to right it - with comma or with the radix point. This makes me wonder why not to have one standard and than it won't be any misunderstanding

There are standard internationalisation and localisation practices in software development.  The operating system and its libraries already know how things like number and date formatting are done in its current locale.  There is a very simple interface for software developers to adopt the local conventions without having to know all the gory details.

Properly written software normally uses the standard system facilities to format its numbers for presentation to users.

However, if the text is in English but numbers are in German (because the software is running in a German locale), that is confusing as well.  Perhaps the right way is to use locale settings for numbers if the strings are also translated; and use English numbers when falling back to English text due to lack of translation.
