The Steem ecosystem is splitting. The forked chain called Hive will be led by the current witnesses, who many claim simply want to hold on to their power and cushy payroles as block validators.

On the other hand, the classic Steem chain will be led by Justin Sun, who will retain the Steem.com domain and many claim he will use this power to push Steem into the Tron ecosystem.

It's worth noting that the current price action is accompanied with a 10x increase in volume. Justin Sun had purchased over 60M Steem coins at an approximate 50% discount, half of which are liquid. This price action has enabled him to break-even on his Steem acquisition.

Thats life. Probably Justin Sun expected that this will be the turn of the events. People also riding with the pump probably for some free hive tokens. I cant blame them but surely the price will drop after the splitting and once they get the new tokens.

This is good since some users of steemit doesnt want the full governance of Justin for steemit community. Well what more I can say, I do hope that I ride this. Profit is huge in spite of the crisis were facing.

When i heard Justin Sun purchased steam i knew something of this sort might pop up since the steam community would not want Justin to control the affairs of the network. I guess my thoughts were right finally, the hardfork is coming and those who bought steem are now making profits with the surge in price.

Same strategy like he did with Bittorent. An overflowing money will come to him again, he knows how to deal with this market and how to make money with it. He's done with shilling about partnerships and now he's doing this acquisition of new projects then fork it to create a hype.

in my opinion it's a good step that needs to be taken, because I see this blockchain green line is very good. after being slapped by the corona virus which almost ate this whole March, it is necessary to take good action as this steem blockchain has done. by venturing to rise I believe that the market will be bull will give full encouragement to other crypto to come back too after the death of the market because of the corona virus.

I didn't take action when I saw the news earlier before the Pump, I would have bought with some of my asset and sold off just before the Fork, as this must dump immediately after the fork or just before the fork. I am going to watch how the new steem community fares after the hard-fork.

This Steem price pump is surprising to me because I generally thought that after Justin Sun became one of the owners of this project, I thought that the price would decrease. but as we all know, San knows how to create hype. Now I think after such an increase there will be a strong and long fall in prices

I can expect a huge pump after listing and dump after people have been losing their interest again to create hype for this hardfork coin. This is a classic method used by justing to get money.
