The reason why? They need to go outside just to buy foods and things they need and also pay their bills they are prone to the virus also the virus can now be attached to the tangible things like money if they are already infected and touch the money with the virus it is rapidly spreading immediately. And today it is good to introduce the use of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin using online payment because it is more faster and secured they don't need to go outside too to pay other things they need and it is better if we are spreading those information so they can now made online payment and let's stop spreading of virus.

It is a situation that is making many people scared, at a time like this where people are scared and running to buy things to survive they would hardly think of other options besides Fiat and credit and debit cards to pay for their things. And we cannot forget the have few countries in the world where people could use bitcoin to pay for all their expenses because there are still regulatory issues and high volatility that bitcoin has

I agree that Bitcoin and online transactions can help minimize the need to go outside. Wireless transactions are really helpful. Though i don’t think those who have to go outside have Bitcoin plus most countries haven’t accepted it as a legal tender lol. But, anyhow it’s nice to think that Bitcoin price and cryptos wouldn’t be too affected by this pandemic.

thats the only problem because most of us living in countries that has limited uses of Bitcoin so the Only option is to convert to Fiat.
so still we will be having physical contact as we have Fiat instead of bitcoin.

Although cryptocurrency or bitcoin can be a solution to pay something that we want, people still prefer to use the other payment method. They still use credit or debit card while they can also use the e-money that is available in their country. As we know that right now, many countries have their own apps that will allow people to deposit their money to those apps so people can shop from their mobile phone and pay using that app. For them, this solution still the best solution while they stay at homes but soon, they will know about bitcoin, and I am sure that they will try to use bitcoin too as what we expected.

Crypto payments in my country is not a viable option for most people, though there are a lot of people who use cash-less transaction apps, some of them support crypto but most people never bat an eye when it comes to that. In my opinion, information dissemination about the advantages of cryptocurrency transaction still needs to go a long run. We also should consider that cryptocurrency community is very small. This time of crisis is an oppurtunity to make face for bitcoin as a revolutionary technolgy when it comes to finance but there are hurdles that bitcoin as a whole must surpass. The biggest is the established financial institutions and the government, they must overcome these overlords to make that it will run a smooth progress.

While this is a miner reason why the use of bitcoin is better than regular fiat money, the truth is physical fiat money is quite filthy.  There's some large percentage which I'm forgetting exactly what it is that United States notes have tracings of both cocaine and boogers. If btc was to be generally accepted in many countries, then yes we can say people are safe with btc but in this scenario that is not the case, for now fiat is heavily use in most part of the world, unfortunately using btc or any digital currency is not something that can be achieve over night, it needs more time for adoption and the pandemic came when it was not yet that time.

That is not likely to happen, we are still very far from mass adoprion. According to some statistics very small number of people is familiar with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and is using it.
Yes, people are more and more oriented to online services and cashless payments but they still use mainly fiat money, just in forms of credit cards and similar. Cryptocurrencies will not replace fiat but under their influence fiat might transforne to some more digital shape.

Well, I must believe so...Like in real life, your wallet must be secured. Bitcoin makes it possible to transfer value anywhere in a very easy way and it allows you to be in control of your money. Such great features also come with great security concerns. At the same time, Bitcoin can provide very high levels of security if used correctly.

It is great for bitcoin to be transferred anywhere quickly, right? The problem that we have is the acceptability of it. I did use some of my bitcoins in the pandemic since I will never be able to get out that easily and I did that through an exchange. It is true that in a way I can use my bitcoins but the thing is that I want to directly transfer it to someone or a platform that accepts it.
