Airdrops doesn't have sense anymore. I can understand if it's still year of 2016 and 2017 but it's not anymore.
Stop wasting your precious times with those airdrops, they are not really worth it.

2016 and 2017 airdrops are profitable from those years and a lot of legit airdrops. You can participate an airdrop that cost you a little work but its worth it and you'll regret if you missed it. Airdrops nowadays are not paying anymore just a waste of time. @OP just participate in campaigns rather than airdrops.

I doubt that you are so lucky that it is you who manage to earn money on Airdrops, while the rest spend a lot of time on this while not earning anything.

Airdrops right now are totally a waste of time. Some even require you to do a lot of tasks but reward a very small amount to participants. Worse, other project does not even distribute rewards in exchange for the effort the participants undertake. Gone are the days when airdrops are very rewarding. Hopefully, those times will come back as this is the reason why I started my crypto journey before.

Most likely everyone now says it's a scam and just time-consuming, but the actual airdrop is still good to do if we are looking for a project that is really good and their community is strong. I am now still following some airdrops that I think are good.

Airdrops aren't always waste of time, it depends on how good you are with them, the easiest way if detecting a good Airdrops is to watch the rating on top Airdrops platforms like airdropalert or airdropbob, if it's rated 5 starts it's probably because it's listed on coinmarketcap and it's trading

The presence of a coin in the coinmarketcap rating does not mean that it is good. Here it is important that it is in the TOP 100, and not in last place. But if you have certain skills for working with airdrops, you should continue to participate in them.

Even being in the top 100 of coins ranked by market cap or whatever metric you choose on Coinmarketcap is not a guarantee that a project is 'good', however you consider that. There's no one right way to determine if an airdrop's worth your time, but just looking at whether or not something's trading should not be the only criteria you use.

There's also a sort of limit to how 'good' you can be at picking airdrops to participate in. It's easy to filter out the lowest-quality ones, but success is never guaranteed for any platform, which is where luck comes in.

Airdrop is now very difficult to predict, of many airdrops in circulation, only a few is truly real, the rest is all scam. Very different like airdrop in 2017, at that time the income from the airdrop could rival the income from the bounty, but now most airdrops are rubbish, and only waste time if we participate in them.

With my few years into cryptocurrency, I have not successfully involved into airdrops that actually pay atvtge end of the airdrops. The only airdrop I did that got me some few coins was ELE, which was done some few year ago but right now, most of my joined airdrops are just Basically scam projects with the intension of phishing on token hikders. Candidly speaking, airdrops are mostly time wasting and also likely to be phish on through their tokens.

Airdrops are not worth the time spent on them and they are zero tokens without future attention. They are aimed on getting many newbies scam out of their possessions.

You are not alone who thinks that way,,, almost all bounty hunters think airdrop is a waste of time. Nothing can be expected from airdrop, especially at this time, very many airdrop scams in circulation. And tokens obtained from airdrop have absolutely no sale value in the market, and in the end it will only decorate the wallet.

so you only need to share the reff link and you believe that the project is good.

Well, it all depends on the airdrop isn't it? Normally %99 of them are really bad, when you give people free money what they will do is sell it and take the money from it and move on, not many people see the free money distribution as something they should keep in case it goes higher, that is why it doesn't work out that well.

However, if you contribute something and you get some money from it and wait, there is a very very very tiny chance that it will go up in price and you may actually make a good amount of profit from it. Mostly it is not that important and not really going to go up all that much so we can say that it is usually a waste of time, if you act as if all of them are waste of time, there is a very minuscule chance that you would be wrong.

I agree with this point. There are still legit airdrops, but that is very rare. We must thoroughly analyze it. Even the airdrop which was quite popular a few months ago, from Kucoin, ended in uncertainty. The only experience of joining the airdrop that was the most profitable for me in 2019 was that it was held by Upbit, I took part in airdrops which were npxs and klay. So if you are interested, monitor the information in the upbit so you don't miss the next legit airdrop.

It is true, in the condition of not having capital, joining airdrop can be one of the best ways. But it must be understood that there is still a risk and you have to really analyze the airdrop officially or not, many fraudsters use airdrop to hack your wallet and steal your identity, beware.

Airdrop are just a total waste of time and I don't bother myself participating in it again. Most of the pay very ridiculous amounts. What do I want to do with $3 worth of tokens. And some are just outright scams that go after people information.

Who said Airdrops are complete waste of time? It's not! You are to be blame if you aren't getting anything out of airdrops, maybe you simple don't learn after mailing mistakes, I've earned over 60$ from airdrops this January this year, Liquidapps, origin protocol etc paid

5$ is really a great income for an airdrop. I have been involved in bounty for months and only received 20$ for the whole job. I hope airdrop and bounty can return like 2017, a lot of people have become rich towards it.

Actually airdrops aren't all bad but a huge number of them are just a waste of time and just like you rightly stated, any airdrop asking for any form of payment is nothing but scams. Most of the times to know a good airdrop, they must have a working and active community both telegram, twitter etc, preferably one which is already existing before the airdrop was launched, at least it shows they have been working but now needs more exposure. Also, do a quick check on the idea of the project, to know if it's possible or not.
