Is this some kind of joke that someone has created coronavirus coin? I have been surprise. The more surprising was hearing that Yobit has listed this coin in their exchange. That's shame once again for Yobit. They have been listing scam shitcoin for long time.

I don't know about the coin, maybe you can post the announcement thread link here ?
If they really exist, maybe they want to use the coin for collect donation to corona disease patients.
We should not easily trust any new project in crypto, it could be a scam project as you said.

People, let just say, scammers will always make a way to make some money even on the worst kind of situation like this, I am not surprised cause they even did this when deflationary tokens were a trend, same goes with other coins/tokens, such as trumpcoin, blackfriday token - I remember this 3 years ago and many more. However, there is a LITTLE CHANCE that the developer will do this for charity but I don't think so

if you look at the moment it is very unethical to use an epedemic corona to make corona coins too. but I have read the article but I forgot the link, that what was done with a noble cause because some of the tokens sold will be donated to the corona epidemic. if it's a good goal it doesn't hurt to be supported, but can it be trusted? it's hard in a situation like this to determine it.

Its a new digital coin the allow trader to bet on corona virus epidemic based on death toll. One of the funny thing is about the coin is that the supply decreases every two days depending on the rate of the new case i.e suggesting  that it's value will increase the more people die from covid 19.

From this description I can claim one thing for sure - it worth developing this coin to scam some people, but not investing in it 
obviously I'm not serious about it and I hope no one will get an advantage of trusting people.

There are many allegations against this exchange, but until now they still exist. I have known this exchange is a scam since 2017 and I have shied away from it, but there are still many other investors using it every day and investing in their shitcoin. Why are they able to do it for such a long time, we need to stop this exchange before it gets worse.

It's so easy for people to understand if this coin has no purpose at all but why there were still some people getting scammed caused by this coin. This coin has already made to scam and the developers are scammers. You should not even call those scammers are developer caused by they wanna try to scam the users.

These scammers are just making fun of this virus, stealing from people and an exchange is helping them to fulfill their goals, it is really disappointing. Of course, Yobit was the one who created this bullshit project and used it in their investbox program. It was a scam project and it was created with the purpose of stealing as much of the investor's money as possible. Stay away from this exchange and the projects listed there, there are no good projects for us to be interested in and invest in.

You know yobit exchange, there were many listed shit coins and I'm not surprised if corona virus coin listed there. Most of the shit coins there were no longer active, seems more 0 volume coins than active coins.

Yobit exchange is not a big exchange, that is why they mostly listed coins that don't have any good value or known as shitcoins. And the name of corona virus coin is not the only cryptocurrency that has a ridiculous name because there are a lot of coins that has a ridiculous name such as doge coin that they got it from the dog meme.
