Hi Guys,

I do love to mine at my home computer because it is fun, but to do this, the only chance you have these days is on new coins because all the known coins are having a high difficulty.

So i was wondering, is there a website or calendar somewhere that shows when a new altcoin will be launched and available for mining?
The thread we have here on bitcointalk is showing so much coins that are already launched.

There are a few coin calendar which used to update news on various coins but I have no idea if they update news on new coin launching. As far as I know, they don't.

The thread we have here on bitcointalk is showing so much coins that are already launched.

It's because you are checking with the current algorithm of bitcoin bumping. For getting all the new threads, you have to filter the list with new posted threads. Otherwise, you will not get them.

I have a recommendation for you, they not only provide information about the coins to be launched, but provide all the latest information about the world of crypto

ICODROP only lists major projects that are of interest to many investors. Therefore this site is only suitable for those who want to look for new and quality projects. And this site does not meet the requirements of OP.

You need to check each coin if they are available for mining. But for coinmarketcap, they have this list of new altcoins that just recently added to their platform and that could be potentially new for their launching too. If you want to check them out, you need to individually check each of them and verify if they are available for mining or what's the algorithm or consensus that they have.

Sites like ICODROP only list the projects which come with ICO or IEO or any other fund raising campaign and they have quite a big amount of premined clin which isn't the interest of OP at all I think. OP is looking for coins with no premine so that they can mine with their PC at the beiginning of the launch.

On Mining section you can always check what will be new coin to launch. Also there are some projects being mentioned on altcoin announcement. It is quite rare to see new coins being launch especially those are that related on Mining. Most projects now are shifting into staking. Why not try this OP, its now the new trend, aside from no expensive elecritcity consumption you only need the token or coin for holding. Then you can gain with certain period of time.

I can't believe that I didn't know about this CMC feature. There is really a lot of new crypto projects every day. How are all those projects expecting to succeed? Starting a new project is not (at least it shouldn't be) like starting a new company.

Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestions.

It's hard to find a coin with a low difficulty for now that i can start mining on today with a normal home pc (GTX 1070).
I dont mind if the coin currently has a low market value, i want to mine something that currently is low, and could have some potential for the future, so it could rise in the future. But hey that is what everyone is looking for i guess?

Any suggestions that is minable for now solo and has some potential but has a low difficulty?

honestly I do not know because coins that are mined through the GPU is very difficult to find low diff but if you mine them the results are good, don't believe me? maybe you can check on whattomine or coinwarz sites or maybe you can go to sub mining to asking senior member who is mining using the same gpu (GTX 1070)

It's been long since I mined new coins now, I used to know about the existence of new altcoins through mining pools or mining calculators, for example https://www.cryptunit.com/  which consists of new cryptonight coins
