Weird thing happen when I try to search for Ledger Nano today in Google,

Very weird so I try to go the main domain name, they will hide thru Cloudfare but eventually display the website below:

Very similar to the real: https://www.ledger.com/ website. But obviously, this is a malicious website and trying to lure potential victims and steal your mnemonic phrase.

So I'm spreading awareness to everyone, do not fall for this trick, check everything and bookmark the sites that you frequently visited.

This is actually fake, scammers have many dubious tactics to the extent they have ads in this kind of case. We need to be careful, that is why it is very important to have judicious knowledge about how to protect bitcoin wallets. And no matter what, hardware or any wallet companies can not request you to provide them your wallet access details such as pin, private keys, seed phrase or passpharse. All this access details should be known only by the wallet owner because it will help to avoid theft, wallet and coin lost.

Good catch @OP, I also find similar attack vector here, Trezor fake Chrome extension. So it looks like scammers are ramping their campaign up with fake Trezor and Ledger Nano as the main bait. The sad part is that it is done through Google Ads and Google Play Store.

I think it's obvious that Google are milking scammers off their money too. No surprise there.

Either use an adblock or be cautious and always double-check the website you visit is legit. In other words, use your common sense.

Just install the uBlock Origin[1] browser extension ladies and gentlemen. With that, you really wouldn't even need to bother with these scammy Google ads. Either that, or simply stop clicking on Google ads.
