Throughout billions of years, blockchains have developed into powerful characters, guarding the peace within our galaxy. Conversely, Andromeda has undergone an evolutionary process quite the opposite of our own – a process that has led to the ultimate centralization: A single dictator rules the entire galaxy. A new Age is approaching that will lead to a clash of intergalactic cultures, cultures that could not be more divergent. And we are prepared to defend our heritage at all costs.

Become a Crypto Collectible Trading Card in our Universe

As an endeavour to further strengthen the connection with our community, we hereby are offering you to become part of the Age of Chains trading card game and universe. We will turn you into a character and create a Bitcoin based crypto collectible using the Counterparty protocol. Our card and character creation always has been driven by our futuristic vision, our aim for high-quality art and our desire to bring knowledge about decentralization towards the world we live in. Each of our card creations is a feedback driven process with lots of care involved to assure the compliance of our goals. Feel free to check the art of our previous trading cards.

The Character Creation package includes:

1. Character & Card Concept:
Together with you, we will develop a character concept that suits you well while fitting in the Age of Chains universe. You can decide if you want your character to be part of the decentralized Milky Way galaxy or of the corrupt Andromeda Empire.

2. Card Creation:
We will select the best of our illustrators for your card creation to assure the high-quality standard we envision for your card. You will have a chance to give feedback on certain stages during the card creation and if possible, we will make changes to the concept according to your vision. The card creation process may take up to two to three months, as a lot of detail work is involved in order to reach perfection.

2. Card Illustration
Get a high resolution image of your card so you can enjoy it in full detail!

3. Card GIF:
In order to make your character and card more alive, we will partly make it animated. Check here for an example.

4: Speed Art Video
To make the experience of seeing your own character being developed even more enjoyable for you, we will create a speed art video of the card creation and publish it on our YouTube channel. Check here to see an example.

5: Blockchain Trading Card
We will define a total supply of your card and tokenize it on the Bitcoin blockchain using the Counterparty protocol. To let you become a true owner of your card,
you will receive 5% of the card's total supply.
The total card supply will be between 1.000 and 50.000 cards.

6. Physical Collectibles
You will be receiving 10x hand sealed and signed paper wallets (21cm x 29.7cm) showing your card illustration on one side and containing the wax sealed private key with your card stored on it on the other side. Check the gallery in this blog post for examples.

7. Be Part of a Video Game
The ultimate goal of Age of Chains is to become a fully developed trading card video game for desktop but at this stage, there is no assurance that the project will reach this goal. Therefore, you can consider this as a bonus: If we reach our goal, you and your character become part of the most intergalactic blockchain trading card video game the world has ever seen. In any case, with your support you are laying the foundation for this endeavour to keep the galaxy decentralized!

All three cards you asked for belong to our Series 1 cards.

Part of the maintaining supply of the Series 1 cards is going to become accessible by purchasing physical booster packs. These booster packs will contain both our Series 1 and Series 2 cards. The exact design of the card packs is not set yet but it is likely that a pack will consist of both: Physical cards containing the digital card and physical cards that don't contain the digital card. We always have been focusing on delivering high-quality in everything we do and we are making sure that this will also be the case for our physical booster packs.

Naturally, we stand by our promise of rarity that we published for each card, which means that the chances of obtaining these three cards you asked for (with the digital card on them) within a booster pack are going to be way below 1%:

The chances of receiving a Woodcoin’s Guardian card within a card pack will be way below 1%.
The chances of receiving a Tau the Time Traveller card within a card pack will be way below 1%.
The chances of receiving a L'ourn, Hidden Defender of Monero card within a regular card pack will be way below 1%.

So in order to obtain a physical Series 1 card containing the digital card, you will have to purchase booster packs or wait for an offer on the secondary market to buy the card directly from somebody.

We also have a tiny amount of the supply (10 of each of the mentioned cards) set aside for promotional activities. As such, we might create different kinds of physical objects containing the digital card and offer them for sale. Previously, we already had a wood sculptor create a wooden statue of our first card's character, Woodcoin's Guardian. However, that statue so far only serves personal use. But we have more exciting wooden works in the making.
