Its going to that direction already. Though its yet not confirm whether CZ had really acquired CMC, money wouldn't be the problem for the transaction to push. The Chinese are up to make themselves on top of crypto community whether we like it or not. They are know to have good reputation to building good products but it may also mean centralization at best.

at first thought i thought this was an april fools joke but after opening and read the contents i dont see anything that you mentioned it as a joke  . so is this really for real ? but isnt that cmc is a seperate company  and binance too or you only mean to say collab but not totally owned it unless they sold it but that is also not possible because both  platforms are huge and kinda bit succesful already  .

I would say that Binance and CZ are really the game changer when it comes to cryptospace, they are innovating and developing every now and then. Surely, CMC will be improved when they are going to manage it and when they do that, yes, first things first, get rid of those shit exchanges and coins on the market cap

Coinmarketcap will now lie in good hands and we might be able to see accurate data from now on. While this sort of a good news there are other things to worry about as well. Binance has been acquiring almost every good player in every field. It acquired good peer to peer exchanges in many countries including WazirX from India and not it's acquiring Coinmarketcap which is a top ranker itself in it's field. So Binance is acquiring the top players in every field and is setting a monopoly in the crypto market. God knows how will Binance use this monopoly. They might use it in a good or may be in a bad way too.
We have to be careful and be aware of the situation and keep our bitcoins safe. I will still suggest not to keep the cryptocurrencies on exchanges and own our private keys!

Could you please share the source of buying WazirX, Poloniex and Steemit? I thought Steemit finally did not sell them rather Binance helped them to recover and Hive was a fork of Steemit! If it's true then they will surely dominate the crypto market but that doesn't matter if they do it honestly.

We should be happy, because CZ delivers good service most of the time, so he can improve cmc.

I am still in doubt if CMC will truly be willing to sell that great asset. That is their source of income and the number one cryptocurrency watch site. I still find it hard to believe, until it is finally acquired by CZ.

I know that the purchase has not been fully realized yet. If this happens, I expect the markets to be more mobile because Binance will use this service to achieve a very powerful manipulator position. It will both have about delisting its competitors from the list of this service and will force users to mislead by making changes with many data. On the other hand, it will be able to change prices more easily as it increases the ability to manage all the market conditions that may occur. So, when I think about how accurate this purchase is and how it affects the market, unfortunately, I do not think of good things. Hoping that he'll do things that will bring back those trust from readers who uses this site to check the current market situations, I do remember wayback

Binance never compromised with their reputation. This exchange got hacked several times but they protected the users' funds, so, no one left the Binance exchange!
A lot of people stopped looking at Coinmarketcap, as they did nothing against faked volume exchanges/tokens! Rather most of the shit exchanges are available in the top rank!
Even a shit exchange called Tagz climbed up to the first rank, now their volume likely zero! I did not participate in Tagz bounty, because it looked shit at first sight!

So, now, as Binance owns the CMC, so, they will rank up only the real volumed exchanges like Bittrex, Kucoin, Poloniex, Kraken and so on! And exchanges like Hotbit, Coinsbit, Bilaxy will go as low rank as they deserved, all of their fake volumes will be washed out! So, I am very much happy now! I made a couple of threads against these fake exchanges and CMC's silent habit against scam exchange! Now, we are gonna see what we asked for!

I disagree. The Chinese are known to only copy and imitate what the westerners are doing and make it a cheaper worse product. This is the reason why made in china also means low quality.

Yeah, you got it! Binance never stopped marketing, because this CMC dealing seems a marketing strategy! At the beginning of this month, I thought Binance is losing its popularity, most of the Binance chained coins was migrating into other chains, Binance DEX had shitty low volume! Then Binance came with many plans! Binance cloud, several National currency pair for trading, Leverage tradings and so on and now they acquiring the very well known Coinmatketcap! So, Binance again become a competitor less the number one crypto project!
