I see the issue, sorry about that.  Missed a segment of code when moving from prisma to typeORM.  Will push a fix

Thanks! Grin

Just checking my rigs on eusolo.ckpool.org pool as one of them just hit its all time best on this server... 21.14 B  Grin only 4900 times more and it would have been a win, well at least it seems to be working even if its not a win.

Code:
cgminer version 4.12.1 - Started: [2024-11-28 19:51:47.967]

Anyway, all seems to be running well, no noticable hiccups.

One thing I have noticed is the reject rate is lower than on the original pool. <=0.00027% the other pool was running around 0.01% on average, so thats got to be a good thing.

Good luck all...

Lower rejects is consistent with a lower latency connection.

Thanks, yes that makes sense.

The long ping issue I was initially seeing has gone away also which is good. ping is typically 25-30mS

Again thanks for the upgraded service CK! Full disclosure my miners are US east coast so my latency almost doubled but I'm still very hopeful (& have moved over more hashrate from now through end of year!)..

I know it's only been 2 weeks & pool luck is still about 30% (roughly 35% if we add EU), but with an upgraded US server and new EU location I'm hoping for a small miner to hit a Block very soon! MaxiPool just got a Block (never heard of them), maybe this pool is next..

Good luck ladies and gentlemen - let's get one or two more for CK Pool before 2025!! LFG!!!

Yeah as I said I would have preferred the server on the east coast to serve most of the world when it was one, but the two new servers' locations definitely provide fairer cover to miners the world over.

I've made a fork of your code base to work exclusively on FreeBSD.  More specifically, going through and replacing the Linux specific system calls and some logic with FreeBSD counterparts. The most significant change being of course the epoll to kqueue conversion.  I'm currently in the process of fixing the logging.  The current implementation seems to be creating a memory leak on FreeBSD.  Not sure why.

Porting is complete and the software is semi-functioning (memory leak issue) and successfully mining blocks on testnet and on a lower difficulty SHA256 fork of bitcoin that I use for personal test/dev.

I would like to ask if you are open to allowing a dual licensing model where for the FreeBSD fork it uses a more permissive license.  I would prefer to publish my current and future contributions under a downstream project with a new name and using the BSD2 license.  Obviously I will be providing proper attribution and making it clear this is a derivative work.
