Which site is good for renting hash? Is it good and reliable?
Who can recommend a rental service?

This isn't a recommendation but I've used miningrigrentals.com https://www.miningrigrentals.com/ a few times with both US and EU servers without problems.

Be sure to select a miner that has good or best reputation and one located in the same region as the pool you want to use.

Set-up is a little odd and stats initially don't update quite as quickly as you might expect, so if you give it a go don't panic if nothing seems to happen for the first 10 minutes.

Good luck.

edit-

Also, make sure you connect your rental to the high difficulty port on the server.
and which one is recommended?

You'll have to review which one suits your needs best and make up your own mind.

No recommendations.

I used both miningrentals and nicehash. Now not really using nicehash due to the amount of KYC and even having to verify the wallet you send from. I am concerned it may cause issue so avoiding that hassle.

However, you can concentrate a lot of hash in one go on there as the rent is for actual hash power and not a rig. You set the price your willing to pay and how much speed. If your bid is high enough you can go nuts, if your bid is competitive it may come, give some, and if a new higher big comes in they will shift over to there. Obviously if too low you could be idle for an awful long time!

Miningrentals you rent rigs for set periods, but can swap them around to different mining pools if you so choose. Many you can extend the rental period, the owners usually set the minimum time to maximum you can rent it for.

Take a look over both and understand how they work, roll the way you feel comfortable.

This is the second time today that I've seen this error on the pool:

"Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Apache/2.4.41 (Ubuntu) Server at solostats.ckpool.org Port 443"

I don't use proxy. Is the pool working fine?

Well ...

Unless Squid (httpd) is built for https:// - then this will continue to happen. It is a http:// Proxy in it's basic form and within the conf can be configured (through various 'tricks') to Proxy https:// also.

Otherwise, simply bypass all https:// sites to direct Internet links.

We at CWI use the same Proxy - VERY Powerful indeed.

Hi!
I set up the miner for this pool.
It shows statistics, now it turns out that I just pray to the Crypto Gods for luck?

Are there any other similar pools?
I heard about Bitaxe miners, often catching blocks.

I think that's a big rumor due to the weak hashing performance of the Bitaxe miners Wink
Sure, there have been Bitaxe miners who have managed to find a block, as well as Avalon Nano 3. But that was just pure luck like playing the lottery.

So the pool itself doesn't matter in theory?
Bitaxe seems to have miners with 1 terahash per second, which is basically enough to get lucky.

In short:  Nope

Bitaxe seems to have miners with 1 terahash per second, which is basically enough to get lucky.

Enough to get lucky for sure but to be honest: It could be limited by your lifetime...
Have a look into this actual calculation:
