Actually it is not the fault of Telegram, majority of people are using it exactly for what it has been developed but you know that bad guys are everywhere and telegram has millions of active users so some of them try to be extra smart and try to scam people. I would just say that do not be greedy and stay watchful and never send your coins to anyone or leak your sensitive data.

I'm a long time user of Telegram and I have never heard the association of frauding in Telegram. I know there are a lot of scammers, especially in the cryptocurrency space, but not immediately thought of when asked about Telegram. I have found more people who knows Telegram, amazed by the sticker creation rather than the people using Telegram to scam.

P.S. I think there are more fraudsters/scammers using Discord (in the cryptocurrency space)

There are millions of scammers at telegram and they can create a new account every day if they like, as long as they have a phone number, everything can be solved. If there is someone who should blame here then it should be the devs or leaders of the project who conducted the campaign. no it isnt  . telegram is created for useful purpose such as when instant mesaging and ability to upload of download any files . infact fb and other social media sites are more bigger and many scammers/fraudsters also lurks there but then again social medias are created for a different purpose  .  

its just the nature of people to do those acts  and they do chose a place that are popular enough as that is easy to found a victim  . than those platforms that arent realy well known  . im a long time user of telegram but ive never been tricked out because i already learned from my past mistake on fb which i got scammed too  .

There is a tagged if the telegram bot or someone has been proved to be scammer(s) there will a word scam associated on their names.

The only problem here is when they change their username or details cause they can just rename or edit it all over again to do scamming activity. Telegram has been widely used for scam so better yet if there are people who pm you, just ignore or confirm first if they are really the one you are talking with. Cause mostly admins wouldnt ask you first or use pm conversation to contact you.

It's easy to impersonate, most cryptocurrency projects use telegram and scammers can easily impersonate users of such support channels with tricky alphabets.
