If they were google, we would definitely got an authentic source of the project existence. Since google has never shared anything, I think they are not affiliated with google. Just because the name is near to google does not mean it is from google.

I am not with Boogle, nor do i have any affiliation, this thread only serves as information.

I saw the Boogle project a while ago and immidiatly noticed the similarity to, of course Google.

Was wondering how they could legally put out a search engine with such a similar Name.

Does anyone know if or if not they are affiliated with Google, how they were able to acquire Boogle.com? (Recently) And if they are not affiliated, how are they legally able to do it?

I did try reaching out but no information was provided by either side...not to mention, they currently have a $7bn market (for their entire coin supply).

Found their pitch and wp so on here https://dmh.co/index.php/9-featured/26-welcome
They also seem to have a youtube/twitter/fb none of which is very informative, Not what a 7Bn project ussually looks like.
Of course not, if Google launched the cryptocurrency then surely they will create huge hype in this market. I stay in this market often but haven't heard any news related to it. And I also think that google will never create cryptocurrencies at the moment because it's not really necessary

So, the general line of thought seems to be, They just changed the name to profit of the brand?

The thing is, they are around since 2017, and have offices up, logos, meetings, and all that... As someone pointed out, there is Toogle Zoogle etc etc, from what i have seen thou, the moment someone tries to launch a search engine on a name like that they would get sued up and down by Google.

Any TM lawyers around? How can a company set up a search engine with such a similar name with offical offices in SG, and NOT get sued? This a trick id like to know about.

Definitely not, because I tried to find all information related to Google but they didn't seem to have created any projects, they didn't even have a plan to create cryptocurrency for the company. their. Maybe someone has tried to name it like google to create hype for their project

That's really weird they should be sued for imitation, but I guess they are not that popular and it does not yet under Google management radar, so we still don't know if they are going to sue it but they do come out in the Google search engine, honestly i am, not aware of this project and they are traded on exchanges with bad reputation like LATOKEN.

I am not sure what the intention of OP is but this seem like an indirect advert to me. Google would have made an announcement about this and this would have been trending on internet. And why would Google even choose such a dry name.

Intention: See if anyone knows anything.

Google would have... why?

The main question that no one can answer is, how does google not sue them?
Whats clear as daylight is that one cant just create a car company and call it Fesla, or a socialnetwork and call it Bacebook, so, if, Google did not ok a search engine called Boogle (I mean come on, infringement couldnt be any clearer) , then how are they 3 years in, millions in funding, offices in SG, etc etc, without getting sued.

That, is the question.

It pretty easy mate, they are making search engine decentralized so that people private information will be secure and they also offer a service of splitting their advertised earning to users of their search engine base of the numbers of advertisements link they click which i think will be challenge to tradition search engines and innovation like this is what we need not project which imitate others.

Well, again, that dosnt drill to the core, thats just what they offer or want to do. What me and a couple of other potential investors are wondering about is how they can operate with that company name/domain being a search engine and not get an asswhooping from google. Thats all.

Soon there is going to be another one.
It will be called Booger. Copying Boogle on this part.  Grin

Google company have the greatest workers in their field. You cannot be employed there without an artistic and half a genius mind.
One of my friend is working there so I know so.
I know how he forged himself just so to get his goal into working in that company.

They are not that kind of a fool to make another name just so to make their own competition. They would rather fix the flaws on their service.

Probably he is informing us about the project Boogle. It will never be affiliated on Google, cause if Google wants to create a token why would they name it like this. I prefer to stick with ticker GOO for Google but they never intended to create one. I see their interest on blockchain but since bitcoin was introduced they never really spotted building or even plan yet. Maybe for now, but who knows if Google has some sort also of plan to launch. We can never say right?

I think you're smart enough to be able to learn about it, btw I think you are trying to create a misleading topic and promote this project. Obviously it has nothing to do with google, they just named like google to attract investors

And another one, again, they are out for 3years, law clearly dosnt permit what they are doing. No where in the world, let alone SG. The question is, if google isnt in, how are they not getting sued.

Yeah Boogle is a browser that has own blockchain. Its just imitating Google design but totally different from it. Ive try using it and its fast also. Maybe because their browser is new. Also theres a chance to earn BOO tokens which currently traded already and has been listed on CMC. I think this isnt a bad project at all considering the info of their team and everything about it. I do hope they launch a bounty campaign here in forum.
What the op is asking is why is Google not suing Boogle for such similarities in name. It is like a rhyme and I also find it deceitful. I know there is a copyright law against such act. If the project was not out to deceive people may be it should have picked a different name. The only difference is in there first letters, G and B.

Such a weird coin name, but i don't think they are affiliated with Google.
There are many altcoins in cryptocurrency with unique coin name, but only few of them are success now.
What most important is when you want to invest on the project of the coin, you must do some intensive researches about the project.

There's nothing like ass whooping from Google because of the domain the project owner used since the domain was legally bought through GoDaddy LLC and if the boogle domain matter much to Google they would have bought it just like they did with the Google.net, social, .news etc.

Such a weird coin name, but i don't think they are affiliated with Google.
With my research about the project, they didnt affiliated with google and they are independent project which planned to share the rewards/income with the search engine user

There are many altcoins in cryptocurrency with unique coin name, but only few of them are success now.
What most important is when you want to invest on the project of the coin, you must do some intensive researches about the project.
You're totally right and i dont see something to be wow about this project except the making of search engine decentralized and if this project dies not have utilize potential it wont be successful in the future.

No need to discuss, if it was created by google then surely we have received notice from them in the major newspapers in this market. But I haven't heard any information regarding google creating their own cryptocurrency. Obviously this is a shitcoin

It's quite cheap of them to use the Google name, turn the "g" upside down and make it "Boogle". It is just cringy imo.

If Boogle was somehow affiliated with Google, don't you think Google would've stated it from the beginning? If they were affiliated and Google did not want anyone to know, they obviously wouldn't have chosen this name. So no, it's the same situation a supposed "coin" from a few days ago was in on BTCTalk when they put its shortname as "CMC" for people to mistake the coin for CoinMarketCap. It's a semi-smart, semi-stupid strategy.

You just don't try rising your project based on someone else's name. If you go that path, lots of people will disrespect you and your name for doing it. Cheap shit.

It pretty easy mate, they are making search engine decentralized so that people private information will be secure and they also offer a service of splitting their advertised earning to users of their search engine base of the numbers of advertisements link they click which i think will be challenge to tradition search engines and innovation like this is what we need not project which imitate others.

Well, again, that dosnt drill to the core, thats just what they offer or want to do. What me and a couple of other potential investors are wondering about is how they can operate with that company name/domain being a search engine and not get an asswhooping from google. Thats all.
There's nothing like ass whooping from Google because of the domain the project owner used since the domain was legally bought through GoDaddy LLC and if the boogle domain matter much to Google they would have bought it just like they did with the Google.net, social, .news etc.

It took me 3 seconds to find: https://domainnamewire.com/2012/04/16/google-files-complaint-against-domain-registered-1999/

This is a business on a confusingly similar domain with millions collected from investors, the business has been branding itself as Boogle and recently acquired Boogle.com. If y lawsuit of a few million, (maybe up to the hundreds) and a UDRP for the domain dosnt count as an ass-whooping, then i dont know what does. The question remains the same, why does google not do it (its not like they are not aware of the project). Instead they choose not to comment.
