The whole social media ( such as, Facebook, Google, Twitter ..ect )  is controlled by the governments like, US. So this crypto ads banning is not created by Facebook in my opinion, and remember that the coin of Facebook ( Libra ) will launch in the near future, but despite all of these obstacles  and issues against crypto, the market is still going up due to the king Bitcoin is on the TOP , as a beginning of this year, there is a good progress or development over time.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It's quite typical of elites and CEOs to bash crypto and discourage regular folk from adopting it too soon, only to turn around and buy up millions worth of btc and alts when no one is looking, prepared to sit on it for the next 20+ years. Pay attention to what they do, not what they say.

Facebook bans crypto ads simply because they understand how lucrative the industry is, and has plans to get into the game themselves. This is what you get with predatory monopolies, nothing less. Their hypocrisy is merely a function of their boundless greed. No doubt, many other powerful corporations will follow in their footsteps once they view crypto as a sure thing.

Upon lifting the Crypto ads ban i thought facebook finally see the potential of cryptocurrencies. But it's has been also in an article or crypto news in Youtube that Libra isn't really a cryptocurrency, it is the same as digital asset that's backed with fiat currency so it might be the same as a Stablecoin.
I thought at first that it was a good development for Cryptocurrency and will benefit the adoption, especially if one giant company developing it, but it's really not.

Even if this ban was lifted last May of 2019 I very rarely see any crypto related ads surfacing around my Facebook's social feed. I know that FB knows that I am interested with crypto since I have joined several crypto related groups and I have used their search engine a lot so this should result that I have to see at least crypto related ads once or twice a day but I don't. Maybe the crypto-industry doesn't want to get involved with Facebook even though they are one of the highest traffic websites out there. It may be related to them not having success with crypto marketing in FB or all of the crypto projects in the industry are just against FB's Libra that is why they don't want Zuckerberg to be earning anything from them.

I understand what you mean,

but do you know...! about blocking crypto ads by social networks like Facebook and others that aim to protect users from fraud, and at that time I also saw many fake projects that raised funds and after that they disappeared.

Well the project is that there are many people in crypto sphere blindly invest on a project without doing their investigations and due diligence. That's why scammers are not stopping because there are people who are still falling for their trick

Yes, banning crypto ads can perhaps lessen, but it still up to the individual if they wanted to be the next victims of scam projects plowing around crypto market. You can protect yourself by learning and getting educated on how this market operates. No easy and free money here.

Honestly, that era of ban in January 2018 was a rude shock and some of us felt it was a big blow to the crypto space. Well, it was a hit momentarily but industry seems to have outgrown such now. And BTW, I don't think Facebook and its allies have totally removed the ban because one can't type a crypto URL without Facebook making a shortcut out of it. I guess Mark was just preparing the way for his Libera which now looks like a dead dream with that 2018 ban.

Since when Facebook lifted ban of cryptocurrency ads? I haven't saw any news about it and I can't find any source which would confirm it. And I haven't saw any cryptocurrency ads on my Facebook feed recently.
EDIT. I haven't noticed link to article initially.
Anyway, should we be surprised about Facebook behaviour? They are just doing what is best for their business. And they don't care it's hipocrisy or no.

Yes, i also think it was their business stand here. When Facebook company saw that crypto communication massively exploring through their page, then they taken that decission and when i posted some news or ads about crypto they delete that.

Actually nobody can not give any third party to do business using his platform or patent. As companies earning huge by many of their projects so why they will not give commission to Facebook? i think here Facebook is legal to their aim. On the other hand they think future of crypto currency is bright so that they made their own crypto platform. Nothing else.

this is the main point that many people do not want to notice, besides facebook have a owner and the owner has the right to do whatever he wants, the owner of facebook also has a duty to respect the laws of governments. Facebook is a business that needs to generate profits and have a good reputation with the governments, they will not risk losing profit and reputation because of scam projects

Anyway to add to the going discussion. The ban then was more of Libra fighting in I think. Maybe it was meant to create space for one Libra on Facebook. The ban issue is now a thing of the past. The crypto adds are making good market for the SM and data sellers too.

Perhaps they really know that they will be put in the spotlight if they wanted to go by that route. But assuming they continue to ban it today, then they are the one who are going to suffer the consequences of such bans and not the crypto industry and we can continue to move forward without influencers using their social media platform.

Unfortunately, they wanted to go and join crypto sphere as well with their Libra coin and working very hard to look like they are pro crypto after all.

They don't need that anymore although it contributes but their fame already made them more attractive and if you can see the libra got the spotlight since its been on the topic for several months and since it related to facebook for sure many big whales are into it.

but I since they join the atmosphere for sure the crypto banning will be lift in future since libra needs other alts to became more establish well.
