Almost every coin that hits an exchange this early is doomed to fail. This coin is not even 7hrs old yet already on an exchange!!! The coin is not finding blocks on most pools most probably due to Hashing AT and difficulty of over 3 million.

This coin will open high be dumped at stay there. I wish exchanges would not allow any coins on for at least a week so they make sure there are no early forks and a sustained interest.

Who is to say 5 days from now there is no more work done by the Devs once they make some money???  Not that I am saying this will happen but this is the problem with a pre-mined coin on an exchange this early.

Can I ask why is was so important to have this coin listed within a few hours of go live, this pattern is killing coins

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

1. as you say, it's a quick buck for the dev
2. it reduces the bitcoin network hashrate
3. i can't think of a 3 just now.

Is pool in trouble? We didnt find block for hours???
Last block found 573, now is mining 756.
We have Est. Shares    227,274 (done: 697.28%) already Sad
WTF is going on?

There is no trouble.  We are finding blocks.  It was just an unlucky round after several lucky ones.

what a fail, i cant dump my 2850 BNS now. Noone is buying and the Diff is just too high. I go back to fusion coin.
Why should someone mine a coin at  about 3M Diff if he can't sell it for reasonable price, i don get it.

Difficulty is a factor of network hash.  It should relate to value of the coin too, but early coins (remember we're 12 hours old) there will alway be low volume on the buy side.  Give it a little time. Smiley

I do agree ... and on top of that there are already people selling the coin they mined for ridiculous prices ... 50 satoshi?  WTF?

At least if people are going to begin to trade, hold on to the value of the coin and keep it high.  0.01 BTC!

What seems to be the new norm is:  mine, and then sell it down to 1 satoshi.  Dump the coin for anything.

Stupidity.

At the same time, I do believe that people who mine must see some other value than trading for BTC.  If the only value of a coin is to be sold for BTC ... then it is doomed.  If they see some other potential value ... they hold.

I guess I don't really have enough coins to matter, and maybe I'm kidding myself because I'm new, but I'm planning to hold on to what I have. The team seems pretty dedicated, and they were around for the launch which I appreciated, so I hope they'll make something out of BNS. If not, well, then I guess I misgambled a few days of mining.

Hopefully not though.

I have my mining split between poolish and hardcore... Gotta spread the hashing around.
