I play gambling but not too affected because this pandemic usually I always play online casino so it doesn't affect me, except for those who bet on sports games, all outdoor activities are stopped en masse.

i want socialization now as this quarantine is killing me.

The first few days of lockdown are fine but the longer it gets, it becomes more boring doing the same thing repeatedly.  Although I don't go to physical casinos, I find online gambling sometimes boring when you're doing the same thing most of the time. Even if I play online games, I can't make bets on it because others would not want it since they also need to save their money. So I just play without betting.

That's what i am pointing mate even how enjoyable the game is but if you are doing the same each day it becomes boring specially if you don't know that much other games aside from your favorites because for sure you will lose and may be frustrated .

I bet most of us are eager to socialize with other people but we can't really fo that right now. It sucks, but there's nothing we can do about it. I do hope the same thing that everything would go back to normal.

Yeah, it really gets boring when you play the same thing over and over. That's why when I don't feel like playing the usual game, I will try to find another game or things to do aside from that. It still sucks though, knowing you can't go outside and do other things you want. I can't even explore some other gambling sites or games since I need to save and allocate my money properly. I'm the source of money right now in my family.

But just like what you have said, this is just like a little sacrifice we can do to help to slow down the spread of the virus. And I hope this will end soon because we can't any longer stay like this for more weeks or months. The longer it gets, the more people will be willing to go outside and violate the rules because they are tired of staying inside.

This is what they do in my neighborhood too. Instead of gambling online, they still prefer to gather in someones house then play Mahjong or cards(tong its, pusoy, in between). They chose being sneaky even its dangerous, because they're bored. I hope no one is a carrier. We play cards too but only with other family members because we wouldn't want to go out.

Yes, they maybe not aware of the risk they are taking, they are willing to go out play with other people just to kill their boredom, I think that is unacceptable, and I believe gambling is illegal in the Philippines under the Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ) or even the GCQ.

Yes it is popular for the Filipinos Im playing the traditional gambling in my home sometimes but because I play through online I can play only few times in a month because Im focus in playing through online. Yes they are playing gambling just to lessen their boredom during this GCQ/ECQ but for me playing gambling now is not the right time because we have so much problems to resolve and so much things to do like keeping ourselves safe and avoid the exposure on the virus and its carrier. If we prioritize playing gambling rather than taking care of ourselves and our family, we will got sick and we are going to die not because of the corona but because of lack of rest and self care because we all know that playing gambling is really addictive up to the point that we can't even remember to eat.

Struggling we are struggling in our daily life, no work, we are depending on government dole out which cannot support us through the lockdown period, but we always find a way to play card games to entertain us, every day is just internet and watching movies and card games are an additional way to fight boredom on home although struggling we can still keep up with this pandemic.

It is good if you can manage the risk of gambling and protect your capital. But you should remember that sometimes we can be weak in handling the risk so that it can attract us to use more money because we see our chance in the next games will change.  I think you can use your most of your time to do another thing besides using it for playing gambling. I am just worried if you can lose control for yourself because I see that many gamblers in the long term lose control.

Sports betting suspension under the quarantine implementation are for all sports that gathers masses for their sports or games, so I think we will not witness that one too, unless it's done in some countries that are not heavily affected by covid-19 and their government are not that strict on their preventive measures.

Gambling is not the solutions if you know you cannot support your daily needs. Its better to find other hobbies in lockdown than using the rest of your money to gamble and take the risk of losing. If you lose your family will not have enough money that can help to buy foods you need in that time.

We don't have to feel bored if we know how to solve it. I see many people now become creative to kill their boredom by doing many things. They make a video and upload it on Youtube, and the video itself is about what they did from day 1 until now.

But yeah, some people are a live record their activity in playing games, some of them giving some tips on playing gambling. I see that it will provide us with an idea of what we can do every day and how to solve the bored itself.

We don't have to play gambling every day if we are not yet filled the daily needs because we need to live and survive. So we need to prioritize our lives first before we spend the money on another thing.

It all depends on the income we can earn, if we have less income then definitely we will not gamble as much as we want, we can only gamble a limited amount and at this time it's better to just focus on the entertainment than the money we can make, just to prevent ourselves of getting attach to it.

The real fear will begin if we have nothing to get from our pocket and will only hope for the government ration which is not enough if you have more people in your household. right now we need to see the situations around the world especially China, if they back to normal after a few months of quarantine then we can say that we don't need to tighten our budget to the point that we can no longer buy our secondary needs. but if China doesn't back to normal then we need to prepare for the worst and not waste our money.

This is by far the best way to try to avoid thinking about gambling all the time for those that are addicted to gambling and even for those that are not but that are facing a lot of anxiety, not many people are discussing the psychological effects of staying at your home for very long periods of time but most people are simply not used to this and they are getting desperate and in their desperation some of them are not respecting social distancing because they cannot take it anymore, and the best way to take our minds out of all of those problems is to fill our days with activities that we enjoy we just need to avoid to fill our time with only one activity and instead choose several of them so we do not become addicted to them.

One thing that I find most useful to avoid thinking about gambling during this quarantine is to do some physical tasks even inside my house. Clean all the things that need cleaning. Move those furniture around to have some change of scenery. Let those sweat glands do their work and by this, I'm also getting a little bit healthy. These activities helped me to avoid thinking about gambling. Even for just a little bit of time. 

I know what you mean because I was doing the same when this quarantine began, the problem is that I'm already running out of things to do, I fixed everything that needed to be fixed at my home probably during the first week so now I have to find other things to entertain myself, as such I'm reading all the books that I wanted to read for a very long time but I did not had the time and even if that is taking a significant amount of my time it is still not enough.
