Never heard BitUniverse grid trading bot but it seems it is an app for Android and Apple iPhone. I can't even find their opensource code which is I think not safe to use as a trading bot even it is free.

I know two trading bot which is used by many traders and verified safe that you can deploy in your own PC.

I use a Gunbot, i highly rec it. It works as it should. It works simple, it buys and sells at %1 profit. There might be days with no trades.

The secret with a bot is only trade coins that you believe in. That way if you get stuck holding a bag its ok. Also if you only trade coins you like you can increase the amount of $ it trades.

If you feel like gambling you can even for example set it to buy $100 worth of Litecoin, even if you only have $1000 in your Binance balance. And set it to trade $400 of BTc. If it can successfully buy and sell $400 of BTC thats $4 profit. I think the mistake of many people who use it is they set the trading limit to very low numbers like $.50 cents. Run it 24/7 and it will work the best. You can lose money manually trading, you cant lose with a bot.

I don't really agree with this. If you get the set-up wrong, the strategies that had been mentioned in the GUNBOT thread along with other settings that you need to tweak then you might find yourself on a loss rather than profit and I assume that is also the case with other trading bots. A trading bot is not a magic and a person who is interested in using this should learn how it works to understand what coins are effective to be traded with and what adjustment would you need to do in your bot to satisfy its purpose. It is quiet misleading to say that "you can't lose with a bot" but rather it minimizes the mistakes, risks due to person's emotions and other human errors that might hinder to trade effectively.

I stopped using trading bot because I'm still losing money and I think its better to trade on my own which I'm learning it right now on how to execute my trade properly. Some people succeed on their trading because of the BOT and maybe they used trading bot because they don't have much time to study the market and I think you should also used BOT if you think you don't have much time to monitor the price movement.

I suggest you to try Binance when you want to have a high percentage of having a profit in trading. I'm really comfortable using this platform because it allows you to use other cryptocurrencies that you prefer. It supports a lot of coin, bitcoin and altcoins, you just need to monitor it and manipulate it properly to prevent losses.

It is never easy to use trading bot because it is not a 100% profit, you also need to have your own strategy and keep track of it every minute or hour. But if you're confident enough with your skills in trading, then Binance is suitable for you. They are also responsive to the feedback of the people who use it in their day trading.

But if you're not that used in to bot, you should trade manually with your skills so that you're the only accountable for the effect and result of your trading. Sometimes trading bot is not that effective and necessary to use if you're good in trading. Some people only use trading bot if they are so busy at work or their endeavor.

Been on EA back in forex and i can say it did blow my account when theres a news and put up a big candle on the opposite side of your position which in result in a loss and since you do rely that everything is automated then its too late to make actions when these kind of scenario happen since bot are just good on what they have instructed or been set up but in talks of decision making then thats the main cons.

After that im not using any bots ever since back when doing forex and now that i had tried crypto which im really impressed with the possible returns but we know that volatility would always have that corresponding risk.
Its our own choice though if bots will make ease or do give comfort on your side but as said,bots doesnt generate easy profits because it all matters on how you do set it up.

So I decide to use manual trading because I think I only trade if I want to trade and I can see the chance to make a profit. No, I don't use a trading bot, as I believe we as human can do better than a "bot". I've been trading for years, crypto and stocks. Today I prefer crypto much more due to it's volatilty, making it easier to pull a profit short term.

I've started trading on DEX's as of lately, as I'm worried about all my trading history being reported to who knows in my country. Been playing around with DEX's which relies on atomic swaps, and it works alright. Sure liquidity isn't too high, but I'm trading 20+ pairs at once so it's no biggie. I wasn't really confident using trading bots than make it manually. Not just because I have no trust for bots to make their own decision but because I don't find a legit one which I could trust and put in charge of my funds. I am not interested in using a bot I prefer trading manually. For me, Bot and manual trading are just the same, bot is just automating the instruction that you have input. So if you made a mistake on your inputs the bot will probably do some mistakes too, so if you want to try it better familiarize it first or if they have a demo account better try it and familiarize it. Of course, I am seeing an advantage in using a bot it is hassle-free.

The whole trading bot thingy is not my thing, the last time i tried using one, i got burn madly. So for now, i just stick to trading by myself as the whole market is currently unpredictable and i prefer to get burn while trading by myself to using a bot or letting someone trade for me. You can set stop losses with a bot. All a bot does is automatically trade how you tell it to. You can customize everything. So its almost like manual trading, but it saves you time. I fail to believe any argument that having a bot is -expected value.

Yes they were called EA, expert advisors, sure brings back memories.

I actually remember there was one bot which actually was profitable. It basically took reverse trades off some high pump event. It back tested well and it even worked when forward testing. I was called something like "Ultimate Scalper bot 1000" or something as such. Basically had a scammy name and actually worked... until it didn't.

Basically the bot was cheap like $100. And eventually too many people started to use it. So many of the bucket shop exchanges started to trade against it and started to trap traders. Some of the bucket shop exchanges even just rejected any trade entries if they were generated by the algo. Hence it no longer worked.

No idea why the guy sold it for $100. He would of been a multi-millionare if he just used it himself privately. But out of maybe 20-30 bots I've tried, that was the only working one.

In fact, almost all the feedback from traders about trading bots is negative, but nonetheless, people are still trying to use the appropriate software for trading.  apparently everyone wants to make money very quickly and effortlessly.  Based on this, I do not understand what the problem is, and as far as I have no experience in using a trading bot, my attitude to this software is neutral.  it’s possible to have an idea, I’ll still do something stupid and try to test some trading bot in order to at least have an idea of ​​what kind of results are involved.

As BitMaxz mentioned i am not confident enough to use the bot because you cannot find the open source to verify the contents and with the halving coming up there will be many scammers trying to make money, since you are the only one who know about this bot, are you sure you are not he creator and if not have you tried and what is your experience.

I also use a trading bot at the moment and its effect is also quite good. It is Gunbot, it supports more exchanges but it isn't free. I don't encourage you to change when you are using the trading bot which you are feeling very good.

I heard bituniverse recently in a bounty campaign that has been finished a couple of weeks only.
But I never try to use bot in trading. I'd rather go with the natural way of trading in crypto and bitcoin.

Bituniverse become my signal source and always update how much bitcoin price when going up and down, I take several moment with bituniverse when some exchange still lower price of bitcoin but other exchange have higher price. Good recommendation to use bituniverse as your information signal.

You sound like a paid shill. How long you have been using that bot? What is your profits and losses ratio? Market started fluctuating recently, I agree but how your bot was performing before the recent fluctuations. Without sharing these kinds of basic information related to your trading bot, I highly suspect that you are trying to market that bot. Probably, you might be from the team or you might have been affiliated with them.

Being a free of cost and supporting 20+ exchanges cannot be enough criteria for me to adopt a new bot with my trading capital. It should be based on open source and might have been well tested and vouched by trusted forum members.

I don't know about this kind of bot. And the reason I don't use bots is because I don't trust trading bots. I prefer to trade manual. Because there is a fun in trading which cannot be found by trading with a bot. It is not possible to make big profit using bot. People use trading bots hoping to make quick profits, but the reality is different. Most traders give negative feedback to the trading bot because they do not get good results using it. So I don't think this bot will be anything different from the others.

Well there is nothing wrong to use bots but honestly bots are pretty helpful in times that we need them like trading while sleeping. Trading bots do have function and setting from the user which it will execute upon reaching the limit set, it is basically an extension of the trader's hand. I'm talking about the legit bots that you can buy in the market, and yes you read it right bots do have cost coz it is made by a programmer. There are some bots that you can acquire for free however I do not recommend you guys to get a help in random. I don't use bots and of course i don't recommend people to use it. I told couple of times before and i still tell people to stay away from any bots and trading signal channel. It might be help you to make money at first time but there is much possibility that you will lose your money because of that. Well there is nothing wrong to use bots but honestly bots are pretty helpful in times that we need them like trading while sleeping. Trading bots do have function and setting from the user which it will execute upon reaching the limit set, it is basically an extension of the trader's hand. I'm talking about the legit bots that you can buy in the market, and yes you read it right bots do have cost coz it is made by a programmer. There are some bots that you can acquire for free however I do not recommend you guys to get a help in random. People do really have that mindset or do believe that bots can give out constant profits to them without doing so much work which is really a very wrong perception with the majority specially with the noobs.

AFAIK, Bituniverse has partnerships with several exchanges, I know the Bitforex and their trading competitions based on Bituniverse trading bots. Gekko is a popular crypto trading bot too.

Yeah the grid trading bot of the bit universe is far better I even have used it myself. However, thanks to various problems, I even have temporarily turned it off. Now I trade on my very own and don't use any trading bots. I feel if we trade from bots it increases our knowledge and skills. tons of latest updated information about the market is out there it's impossible to understand much by using bots.

Finding those parameters that could make you profit is not really easy, it takes time to find it and every situation requires different strategy, not every single day is the same and that is why it requires different approaches. So, you basically need to literally be in front of PC every day all the time to figure out what situation the market is in and then put that strategy to your bot as well. I understand you thought. I know there are lot of well known bot people are using and there is nothing wrong with that. But my doubt on that programmer or company who made those bots. How can i be sure that there will be nothing wrong happen after so many trades. That's why i suggest to not follow bots. Of course traders worry about their assets when they are offline from trade life. For that there are couple of theory we can apply, like "Stop Loss" or something. My bottom line is, we are safe till we are controlling our own assets.

Look I do agree that these so called premium groups are nothing but either scammers or overconfident people who seem to think they can predict price at their will and trusting them will either give you fake confidence (if their prediction goes right) or you gonna loss which makes them loose nothing. So, yes I agree never use those groups.

BUT bots are very different if you are using a trusted source bot then you are actually making the bot do the tiring work of executing trades and making quick decisions and there are some bots like someone told me gunbot (I never used is, so please don't take my word) is really good. You can just enter some data that will be used to make trades and yes there can be loss but the bot is just there to reduce the manual tiring repeated work and automate some tasks.

I have been always thinking the same too and that is the reason I never used any bots, the best bot kind of task I do is put trades on future price like if BTC drops by $100 I have a buy order for that and if BTC goes up by $100 I have a sell order for that. Actually all of us need to use Bot though not everyday if we are trader,
imagine what will be your activities if needed
 to be outside or be gone for week or months?then we have to use bot
 so our trading is still running even at least
small trades to continue our process with the help of Bot.and also nice

I think you can use a trading bot, but you must have the right knowledge how to set the bot before you trade. That is an important thing you should do because the bot will run based on your setting. But you cannot hope that your setting will always work after you set because you know that the market cannot be predicted. Most people that trade are not full time traders.
Crypto runs 24/7 there is no way to catch everything you need to, unless you trade high time frames. High timeframes are great and undervalued by a lot of traders, but bots for me have been excellent in aiding my trading psychology.

It's hard to execute your strategy after 3 losses in a row, even though you should.
It's hard to take profit according to your plan when half of Twitter is screaming "we're going to the moon!!!"
It can be very hard to be dedicated to your position amount (2% for me from my funds) when you know that massive green candle is coming or you wanna jump into a promising short.
It's hard to work on your strategy when you have the "eh, I'll see how I feel" mentality which can derail your trading plan.
It's hard not to FOMO into a random trade when things are moving.

Bots force you to make the best plan possible and stick with it. This is why there is still less professional competition in crypto trading - only a fraction of traders actually make a plan. Without a plan there is nothing to optimise. Without anything to optimise you will not improve and achieve long term profitability.

You have a point. A very good point only if a person is not really into using bots.

Professional traders even used bots. Sometimes they aren't around their desk so this really matters for a trader that always sets a position no matter what's the trend. Using bot does actually make it feel safe compare to manual. These traders also have a life outside that's why they need these bots.

Trading bot can be safe to use and may not be either but everything depends on the bot developer competent level which is the reason why traders need to be sure about bot developer experience before using their product.

That's the reason why traders need to be sure of bot developer genuinely level because we have see alot of situations where bot perform it duties very well and after a couple weeks of success trading the bot start malfunction.

There is literally nothing that is response to what I said in that message. I mean you quoted me so I looked at it to see if there was anything related to what I said, but looking at the response that is totally irrelevant. You're right I've never seen a project like this but trading bots aren't very effective Many times they are not able to give accurate information and are confined to one place so I waste my time. Your own experience is more useful in doing business Therefore, it is better to trade by yourself.

I have noticed that using a trading bot brings profit only in the bull market. This was my experience when I used a trading bot. But when the market began to fall, the trading bot could not keep up with the market and could not sell coins due to the fact that their price became less.

Bot is indeed for automation but majority do have that wrong perception towards bot which they do believe that it can give out money without doing anything which is absolutely wrong into those kind of perceptions towards it because it doesnt really work that way.It will always depend on users knowledge on how they would set out

The only thing what this bot done is sell a token when it grows and buy when it falls down, but this you can do without a bot too. But, I am finding something that actually trades by signals, but in most cases these signals are useless because it is something like betting tips half/half win/lose ratio.

True! Besides, exchange platforms such as Binance and Bittrex also have the tool that you can set the limits of buying and selling. Some of those bots can trade base on the signal. However, it doesn't always work efficiently. Keep in my that bots and trading signal groups are created based on behalf of the creator. If you think it works on behalf of you, you're so naive. The best way to trade is to learn how to trade!

My question is, are you making money while you're making use of this BitUniverse not? I have not heard about it and I have not used it. Most of the trading bots I know are not generating any profit; that's if it's not all, but I am very sure that I have used any one of them that is profitable. The case seems to get worse when you're making use of free bot. The ones where you will have to pay for it are quite good, but still don't give me what I need and are not all good. If you check these you might start preferring to start trading by yourself if you have the time.

Trading by yourself can be better if you really know what you're doing and can do it the right way. Trading bots mat lead you to losses as well when it may get failed against a high level of fluctuations. Crypto markets are known for wild fluctuations hence there are plenty of chances for most bots to fail at any time.

And what I have found is that none of the built in strategies will help you during a bear market. However, during a bull market they can be used to turn a fair weekly profit without much oversight, particularly if you're using conservative strategies.

I use a custom made trading bot which was made by a friend of mine who owed me a favor and I personally think these bots are not so good in trading, I can do much better if I had enough time to trade in the market as I have tried trading many a times by myself and have made a good amount of return on a small playing wallet. Also you have to keep on monitering the market many a times in a day if you are using a bot and also have to change its settings and if the market takes a sudden turn then you can't do anything about it and will loose most of your coins.

yes you are right, people think that bots give your profits without any losses but in reality its just do nothing other than executing trade orders automatically.And we have to be very careful while choosing bots because it is possible to stole all our money from the exchange's wallet if we get fake bots from hackers.

BitUniverse is the Bot I have been using for the last six months, and it gives me a small profit. Of course, the risk can occur at any time if the market suddenly drops, and you need to manage your capital appropriately. However, I will turn off when the market has a lot of bad news and will trade manually because manual trading will give you better control.

That's what I believe too, the use of bot on trade doesn't seem nice to me in particular because of the flexibility of trading Bitcoin or all other cryptocurrency. There is what the humans can control in trade when the market goes negative from the propose aim but don't know if bot van take a decision by itself. Human can decide to cancel trade at their own discretion but for the not too sure. Although, i will like to get a good bot for trade for a test. They are not humans and can't function like humans while in trade.

I haven't tried paid bot, I have only had an experience with the free to use ones, and my experience was bad with them. I know some people have claimed that free bots are always trash, but I think there should be a free version or a test, it could be good to help people see what it's like, and after that they can decide whether to pay or not.

All these paid versions always require that you pay first when you don't know what waits ahead for you. And people that use it are not open, and always secretive as to whether it works or not. But from what I've seen on Reddit, they are not worth it.

Yeah that make sense to me, trading bot is a tool if we don't have a good strategy we will end up in lose as well. I just think, if I use trading bot and I don't have a good strategy then why I should using it? Moreover with premium trading bot, it means I have to spend money for it. Because I have read some information that there are a legit trading bot but I should pay when I using the service, it will be good if I'm not using it and use the money to add the capital for trading. And yeah, the trader should be aware that there are many trading bot scam, you will lose your money when using it.

Apart from that, I think that using a trading bot does not have to wait for you to succeed or become a professional trader first. Trading bots might be better for beginner traders to use however, using trading bots or not is an option so yes, it is a free choice and of course every trader will choose the most convenient way to trade.

1) I want to be a trader, so i try to gather more & more knowledge rather than  using any bots.
2) If you are using bots, then you will be dependent on those bots which i don't want to be.
3) If you will follow the rules in proper discipline with money management then i don't think you need any bot...

I am actually using Bituniverse Grid trading bot too and I can say that its a pretty good use, I am currently using the newly launched Bot of Kucoin which is also a trading bot, up to this date I am actually still not losing any $$$$ there since I can let the bot run and stop it anyday I want which is a good thing. Do not be worried about cryptohopper being like that, I personally used so many and all of them were like that. Unfortunately trading bots are great but they fail in so many stuff that it is not even shocking anymore, it is just not enough and a bot that can do what it says it can do could be a lot better but most bots keep having technical problems over and over and over again; which is why I think it is quite important that we end up using manual trading at the end no matter what trading bot we used.

However the sad part about manual is that you can't check those indicators on those 10+ coins ever 3 minutes, and that is a bit of a problem as well. That is why people created signals, it is not a bot that trades for you, it is a bot that lets you know when something you wanted happened, you want BB under 20? Sure it will let you know, you want MACD at certain levels? Sure it will let you know. That way you have a bot, but you trade yourself. But I suggest making your own signal bot, otherwise others could be very bad.

Actually, I am using Bituniverse for almost 1 year gone. It's best near to mine, also using Pionex for a lot of trading bot option. Now kucoin also following Bituniverse that I believe. Most of the time I like to use Kucoin API at Bituniverse because at kucoin any kind of amount buy and sell is possible. So kucoin is good on this site(although the volume is not so high). But at Binance or pionex it's not possible. At Binance there is a need minimum of $10(worth of altcoin)for buy-sell per grid/order. So kucoin is good at this stage. Normally I myself don’t like any kind of interference from 3rd party apps when it comes to money things.
Yes if you are really busy and cannot quickly buy or sell, then i would recommend using legit bots.

I also tried this bot, and for me, it gives us an advantage since we can truly gain a better profit after started in with a particular pair with the best entry point of course.

Using bot doesn't mean you get automatic profit, for real people who has never used bot should stop making this wild assumption. using bot however could assist you in making buy or sell order at certain price poin and many more.
by that you won't have to worry waking up in the middle of the night checking the market for bullrun or bearish. It's just to do things that otherwise will make you tired if you don't take advantage of the bot feature. at the end of the day you're still the one who configure how that bot behave which could decide profit or loss.

Do not be afraid of using them, they are not going to suddenly hurt you, it is just a trading bot and if you put money in it that you are willing to lose? That is going to be fine, and that is not going to hurt you at all.

We are talking about literally just a few hundred bucks at most, and put it in there and configure the bot however you want and in the end you are going to end up with a great situation where if you lose you won't care and if you win you found something that can make you money. That type of no loss but more gain type of situation is all we are looking for in investment as well.

I personally didn't like them, but not because they were bad, but because I do not like to leave the control over to something else, I rather have all the power myself and do whatever I want with it, someone else or something else doing it just didn't made me feel comfortable.

Yes, I am not trusting any kind of bot too. I think it can only make my money lose once it have an error it will cause me only misfortune, honestly I use it before so that I can buy, it was refer to me by my friend and then one day we surprise that we have a negative amount of PNL, so since then I will not use any bot because we cannot understand what will bot gonna do, maybe it can help us to buy and sell at the right time sometimes or it cannot be.

I am also using the Kucoin app for grid bot. But the problem is you can to able to trade with your desire coin right now. They only listed a few coins/pairs for now. Also, you can place only 62 grid at once but At Pionex I can setup 149 grids at once. I am more into dice bots... it's somehow easier for me to find a good set up, and to add something if I see, I know what I can and what I can't with my bankroll... it's the same with trading bots, you need to know how to set it up for your capital! It's not easy as it looks like! So when you try it, try with money you can have fun with, to learn about the bot and to know what are pros and cons of bot! When you get more into it, than you can rise stakes and invest more in that bot and your strategy! I still like to trade manually, usually mid and long run trades, but I have interesting day trading sessions from time to time.

Could you share some information about that trading bot? I would try to use this bot in my trading. If not difficult, please share this information. Those bots that I found in the end turned out to be nothing more than just if / else and nothing more.

Depends on the situation. If I have little time to analyze the market, I occasionally use BOT to help my trades to avoid losses.
But it’s completely unable to help. It’s just to minimize losses.
But sometimes I also want to hone my skills in trading, when I have a lot of free time. Use BOT and there is no difference.

Actually i don’t know much about BitUniverse's Grid Trading Bot. I have no experience on it. But  I have used the trading bot from kucoin for quite some time. But now I don't use bots.  I don't think using bots is more profitable.  But for trading I do manual analysis and use paid signal channel. these way is computable for me
