I think its not new anymore, I played similar games (forget the name though) before wherein you can earn coins for playing. What I dont like about it is there's a minimum amount to be able to withdraw your earnings.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Well it depends on the data and if I still keep myself anonymous because if its a personal info then giving out my details are not worth to risk for tokens that has no assurance in the first place for having a value.

same .  i like the part where you get rewarded for only playing games but to the part of collecting your personal data and then selling it  , i dont think so  . facebook before has been reported by that kind of idea but maybe they are reported because users didnt knew that  while on this project i think people will agree on it first before they got started  .  they already have 3 million users which means people already dont care for thier privacy this time  ? thats quite unusual isnt it

Every games has it own in game currency, in some games we can sell in game currency and in game items for real cash. so i think it would be very great if we use crypto in game instead of in game currency.  According to Statista, there are currently more than 2.4 billion gamers in the world, imaging all games turn to use crypto, crypto community will add more than 2 billion people.

Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
 From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Yes I think that it is a very nice and great combination because if cryptocurrency and mobile gaming combined then it will open up new opportunities for the people that wants to earn while playing games which is great because they can play in exchange for the collected data and they will get paid. I hope that it will get so many downloads if it's launched globally and I hope that this can be a next step towards the future because as you can see there are opening new paths for the people to earn and that is great because it will be advantageous to them because they know that they will make money out of playing games.

I'm still not satisfied with crypto and gaming yet, many projects are introducing something they can't keep up with, fake promises here and there, its same reason why many invested in blockburn project but it's a shame that after they raised hardcap successful and still exit scam

I think these are two industries that should be put together. even for all the games now. I really have problems paying for games or need to buy in-game items by payment. You know, they require visa cards or credit cards, but I'm too young to have those cards. so I was powerless to buy the item. Hopefully in the future, major games will be applied by payment via blockchain and tokens. I am sure there will be more people using this service.

That's also the main concern, there must be choices to the what kind of crypto that will be used to the payment or the platform itself must choose dapps which was implementing small fees. AFAIk so many projects have already introduced or even developed this idea but none of them have become a successful platform.

I can say to be very Frank, platform of mobile gaming of cryptocurrencies is very popular due to carona-19. Because it's the best platform of timepass & get good earnings. People are facing lockdown period.although many tricky games is also active in the market. Ultimately you can say it is interesting app.in these days.

At least they're admitting that they're collecting your data and selling. I mean, I use an office connection with none of the details even registered to me or my country. If they want to collect data on that, and sell it so I can play, go for it.

Hint: everyone should protect their own data and connection and what it gives away:)

Its nice to see this innovation are going to more uprising industry in the world. Mobile gaming is very popular nowadays which along people to play anywhere and without any limitation. This collaboration will benefits both of them, making cryptocurrency even more popular for some players while crypto users will also able to play the game. Its allow users to pay crypto with less hassle and fast transaction making more time to play and buy some in-game items. Its also way to different in current game which allows players to earn while playing.

although we have all tried to secure data from thieves but data loss and data theft are still often occur without the knowledge of people, whereas if you talk about give away then there are many cases that are still common today and many developers will find it very easy to get data from trader and can sell it cheaply.

Kinda not that convinced yet.
But I guess I am kinda getting too paranoid about these kinds of things  .
I think it doesn't really mean that you're really gonna give all the information pertaining your "real" identity.
Parts of crypto as well as the internet is all about pseudonymous anyway.

From the whitepaper though the transacational data of users will be stored on the blockchain so it will be decentralzized. I think if they use zero-knowledge encryption only allowing the end user to access their data then it will become very secure.

I guess we just have to wait for the Ludena Protocol beta to find out more

Yup this is why Ludena Protocol is so promising lol they have been in business for 7 years already and have a successful app in Korea with already 3 million users

Are you serious with that information? "collecting your data and then selling it to publishers." question: what kind of data did you mean? I think thats weird if those users do not know that trick. Just imagine it has three million users that might be lost if that unlawful selling of data was exposed and also it can damage their reputation, By doing such thing It doesn't make sense to me. It's better to choose another Gaming platform that observes privacy and protects its user's data. I think there's plenty of gaming Dapps in the market that we use. I was only basing my opinion on your OP so correct me if I'm wrong.

Just to clarify, our algorithm can detect how much time/money users spent in each game they have downloaded on their phone. This is such a huge leg up for publishers because they can target market more efficiently based on that information. We are not "selling" users' personal, sensitive information, just connecting platforms to their niche markets. It works for users too who get first hand looks at new games, like pre-download bonuses or beta versions, based on their genre preferences, etc.

Not even in video games but in different platform most of the data they sell is came from your cookies or the recently searched platform and visited and by those ideas, the companies are selling items they will recommend those into your social media platforms. Like the Lazada and Facebook every time you are searching with your search engine and using Facebook and search for any items you would like and also direct to an online shop. After a few moments, most of the advertisement on your social media is related to your items recently searched.
