This is just my technical analysis, looking at the fibo line at 61.8 or 211 $, the last candle has touched but this is support, if it breaks it will go to the next support fibo 50.0 or 188 $. Then see the RSI chart two lines white will start to cut the yellow line usually prices will rise. But Sar is approaching the red candle, usually when the sar line is touched it will go down. So the possibility is still confused. Then I made two auxiliary lines as long as the candle was still moving between the trend line lines and so I thought ETH was still in the lane to go up.
The resistance at 202 $ is gone, for the price to reach 250 $ I can't predict. But as long as the candle in the trend line sure will touch it

Well, it's highly possible to reach that price early the $250/eth was easy to achieve. As we see today it was already stabilized at the current price of $214/eth and I believe soon it will break that support. there was a lot of speculation that is circulating about this current market activity. and it has many considerable factors that might be driving this trend, for others maybe the upcoming Bitcoin Halving event or even the Ethereum 2.0 update, etc. but who knows there's more.

I hope your buy price was below than $200 because right now, the ethereum price is going down at $207 so it could get down for more. But you don't need to worry because perhaps, it is only a correction of the price so, after this, the ethereum price can increase again and hit your target price. But if somehow, the ethereum price now is going to down for more, you can buy more ethereum while the price is down so your chance to make a profit will be bigger and I am sure you will have a big profit later.

If ETH can hold resistant level $202 for few days, it will breaks $250 soon. So as a ETH holder, i am always eager to hold ETH and waiting for next upwards level $250. I dont see any thing fundamental in the recent sharp increase in the price of ETH since we can not point to any known cause of the spark in price, it may and it may not pass the $250 price but let just wait and see.

It will be obviously pre halving, remember that prior to the market crash, ETH has even trading above $260 levels if I'm not mistaken. So reaching $250 is like just going back to it's previous price. And there's a lot of speculation that after the halving, things could be different as historically, the price seems to go sideways or down ward and it will take some time before the price pick up and then go on a year round bullish cycle.

So there is still a lot of opportunity to make money in the future here. By buying ETH today and just HODL on it. The last all-time-high was 4 digits, so that a good x5 returns easily if we go on a bullish run in the next couple of years.

$ 250 is a modest figure. BTC dominance is really at a very high level, 67.8%. it will have to adjust sharply and that money will flow into the top alts and the market will become more balanced. Its good that you are converting some. We cant always hope that the market will favor the price of pumping. Sometime being safe is better than not to gain at all. Eth is a major altcoin and we can expect a good price of it on the future as it also have some upcoming news on their migration to PoS. Let's talk about the possibility that the price to happen after the POS update. Ethereum has already touched more than 1k as its old ATH and it's quite possible for ethereum to reach 250 easily and we have touched 211 right now. If you paint a trend line from its lower price to high price the decreasing price right now is a correction only. You have to see it in time frame one day and you will look it as a correction. It would really be a great thing once that thing happen that the price of Ethereum will get up into rising in $250 marker. As we can observe from its recent price behavior of Ethereum in the past months, we can see that it is quite struggling to rise up or at least maintain its price in $200 marker like what we can see right now if we will be going to search on its price which have a current price at $191~$192 that is still far from the expectation of $250. i check eth value right now and i can see that its green again and its up by some percent  . current price of eth is 388 dollars  , i dont consider that as low but i dont also consider this as a buying point .  the correct moment to buy is supposed to be when price of coins are declining or thier price is low . all of us has our own thoughts on the price , now if you guys think the price is low why would you consider waiting and wasting time by not buying ? thats what not the golden rule taught us .

With this much of negative news and huge selling pressure in the market, I highly doubt that we are gonna see a good price movement in the near future or the coming few months, after this America-China tension gets resolved then I can think of a good positive market, bitcoin price is already down to $10.4k and we can see one more dump if the situations will remain like this for more time and also can see the devaluation of Dollar which will surely hurt the economy in the long term and thus the stock market and the cryptocurrency prices as well.

I do not believe that it will reach 600-700 dollars in the nearest future (as you say, probably, in 2021). ETH price will vary, probably, between 300 and 500, but it will be enough to let some traders making money on these fluctuations. Nevertheless, Ethereum behavior is totally unpredictable.
