^^^ And if no nation lets the ship land, they could always fish... and eat mercury-laden, Fukushima-irradiated fish, right?

Cool

I don’t think so, the best thing you can do is organize your own farm on your land away from big cities. You will have water, food and everything else.

A cruise ship seems to be a self-contained world once it is at sea. It occurred to me that if one could ensure that anyone on board s free from the virus, or immune, then occupants could associate freely without risk. This would reduce some of the burden from society, and provide some income for the operators. They wouldn't even need to leave port to be effective. Of course they would need to have medical facilities on board, and any supplies or visitors would need to be checked thoroughly.

It's not really that effective there are reports of fast contamination in one Cruise ship and it spread like wildfire, there is no safe place but your home and to do all the instructions given to us by medical experts like social distancing washing your hands and always wearing a mask, a cruise cannot be considered a safe haven but aware and doing the right thing is the one.

Not everybody will die in cruise ships. Once the dead are dead, the rest of the people will be immune.

The problem is the fear of the people on land or other boats. They won't readily recognize that the dead are dead, and that the rest are immune by herd immunity. So, they might not let them land.

But the cruise ships have the best herd immunity around! Too bad they aren't allowed to spread their immunity to people on land.

Do you think that maybe this is the whole idea of quarantine... not letting immunity spread?
