Personally i do not like any of these things because there is risk of losing value for the staked or masternode coins. The best policy is to hold quality coins and take profit when price rises significantly and then you can re-enter when there is good entry available and do that again and again and keep taking profits at the same time.

Before taking your money to any investment, better to learn first. Those aspects that affects the growth and the development behind are good qualities that you have to consider plus the exchange that already list the projects.

Staking and Masternode investment are passive if you bought the coin while the price is still low, you'll be managing to received compensations just by
holding the coin.

Plus the value of your investment will continue to grow from time to time as long as there's strong bull that creates the pump.

Scam masternode coins and scam staking coins are available presently, go for more popular and well supported staking projects, I believe they have more better utilities than most masternode coins, don't invest on low marketcap masternode coins

Don't waste your time and money on masternode projects. Use that money and invest in Defi projects, I believe you will get more profit and it will take less time to get profit. In the past I also invested in a few masternodes, but in the end the price kept falling and I only received coins that were no longer worth.

DeFi projects are literally a hit this year and will probably be the next level alts which can't be beaten by some shit alts anymore. Yearn finance was (and it still is) the most successful DeFi project that brought in about 2000x returns in no time to its investors and earners. I am willing to learn more about the upcoming projects that come under this niche - DeFi and will DeFinitely invest some small amounts in order to gain something huge (as I may become lucky some day :p)

If you want to avoid scam projects then only invest and hold top 10 or 20 coins only.
They are big, established and trusted just because they fullfil all criteria of being legit, advanced, transparent and developing coins with active teams.
Holding quality coins will definitely yield you profits over time which you can cashout and enjoy.

Better don't do any of the above things if you don't want to lose your capital, staking can be profitable only if the value of that staked coin increases in the meanwhile time but in most cases it will go upside down so you will lose the capital as well.

IN cryptos holding itself gives you good profits and you can cashout or trade them at any time when you have them in your wallet.

Running Masternode is not easy, and sometimes it costs more than your profit. That's why people love to stake coins, but I would suggest you don't stake any coin for years, you can stake for 30 days to 90 days! Never stake random new coins like Moozicore, I noticed MZI stakers are in immense pain because the currency and project become shit! Try to stake established coins like DASH, Energi, ONT, and so on and take profit! Right now, I am staking only one coin because I don't want to miss the current Defi hype, I am investing in new Defi presale, because it is a far better investment than staking!

I am not in favour of lending the coins you have on some platforms for the interest. I had rather create a master node and stake my coins in it provided I am confident that I have invested in the right coin.

I support this view from you also because lending platform have scammed people in the past. Lending seem like a pyramid and ponzi because is like taking turns and while waiting for it to get to your turn, anything can go wrong or developers can disappear from the scene.

I think it is quite risky, especially if you have no knowledge at all about crypto investing. My advice is that you can reconsider before investing in a Masternode and to minimize losses by investing only in real coins especially BTC and top altcoins like Ethereum, Eos, LTC, BNB & Tezos.

In any case if you want to use masternodes or proof of stake and take out the profit and continue with the rest, it may work for a while but do not forget that other people are using those profits to grow their lead bigger and you will make less and less because you are not reinvesting.

So, I would suggest unless you need the money for something, don't do that and reinvest all the money back into the stake or masternode you are doing. Otherwise you are not going to have a lot of money and if the coin itself drops in value as well you are going to basically be losing money let alone making any profit.

95% of all Defi, masternodes and staking project are hype base and with the altcoin market been highly manipulated making long term investment could lead to losses. So, I dont the reinvest all money back as something and cashing out when the target reach while invest in BTC is a better decision.
@OP, Instead of base only in staking, masternode and lending while dont you trade crypto, there are some crypto exchange site that offer free trading bot service.
