Bad halving because bitcoin keep dump and look never reach target of many holder, almost all holder and investor claimed they will be success with bitcoin going to higher price in this halving time, but checking with the reality bitcoin keep down without get anything effect with halving moment.

Keep dump what? When? You mean the price swing happened within 2-3 days? It's not because of the halving.

And literally speaking, halving won't have a direct involvement directly to the market why the price should go up. It will still depend on a people's point of view whether how they looked at the halving.

And you mentioned holder, then what will be the price today should be totally out of their concern as the purpose is to hold more.

Since halving is done, then our next step is to find how it gradually changes the market price.
We have a good price during halving and we are expecting a huge uplift after. But something I have to think differently because we are still in the fight against the pandemic. Bullrun is what we wanted to happen but I feel we have to miss it again because of some circumstances unless if we are not really affected by the global market.

There's no fiat currency in the world capable of quantitative tightening and scarce except Gold and Bitcoin. This is why Bitcoin will sky rocket in the next 3 years because it doesn't have infinite amount like in fiat the value cannot be devalued with inflation. Anyway , the third Bitcoin block halving just arrived and the miners block reward will be cut into half again, and they need some hardware upgrade again as well.
Now, let's just hope for a good price run after this event, that might keep the miners motivated to continue their Bitcoin mining career.
I wonder if there were actually small time miners who will quit this time?

This is my first year in this forum with the halving, I was only few weeks in crypto before the 2016 . Bitcoin wont be expecting any big events soon, we should expect the market to hit the previous all time high before any thing all. The shortest time to break the ATH after halving was a year and most bull run is withing 1-2 years after halving, if things remain the same and halving occur in next 4 years we should expect the same trend with little differences in period.

Yeah it could be something similar as many people are expecting btc history repeating. But who knows.. We will see if we will have new btc ath until next halving. We all hope so

The halving just officially happened! Happy Halving everyone!

This is indeed a great moment for the cryptocurrency market, the long anticipated even of the year just happened  successfully, i was not in this space yet when the previous one happened but i doubt if it has so much much anticipation like the just concluded one, i guess the market haven't seen this much adoption then. I can't really wait to see the impact it will bring to the market, i hope it will really benefits us

I wouldn't count on it short term.  Long term, much more likely.

It was nice to see the block pop up on the CLI.  Watching for a block is kind of like watching grass grow, but I've watched all three now just because it is an interesting and perhaps historical thing.

Yeah exactly short term the halving effect is very low. Just daily trading is much more significant than any short term halving effect. But long term what the halving does is slowly build up the pressure from reduced supply over a long period of time. Which is why price usually goes ballistic the following year after a halving. It's like just turning up a stove one notch higher, it's not gonna make it explode as soon as you do that, but it'll gradually heat up a little more and the next time there is a big catalyst it boils over.

grats mate thats a nice prediction but btw arent there any gambling or betting in regards of halving ? that is exciting and you could have won that too  .  thanks for some tips too but i think that mainly applies to miners but for us that arent miners i think we still can easily get btc's by just buying it directly  .  still we shouldnt waste our btc on unwanted things because like i said earlier miners are having a hard time to mine it so we must value thier efforts   .  for the fees i think the fees will still depend on the price of btc

I am really sad after seeing there's no any specific changes in the price movement, Halving was the talk of this entire forum and everyone are optimistic but it looks like there will not be any major pump in price.

Whatever happens is only for good in my opinion and I believe this there's a lot of time left even now let's wait and see.

For every previous halving, price dumped around halving a bit but eventually it kept rising after the halving and reaching a new high within the next 1 and half years. So, be patient and believe in bitcoin. More than 90% of bitcoin is already in supply and we are running out of new coins. So it's best to accumulate as much as our finance allows us in this dump.

I am as excited as all of you. It is my first halving. At some point I felt a little scared in case the price fell but then I erase that thought from my mind and enjoyed 100% my first Halving.

Bitcoin's third halving, the network's quadrennial landmark and the most anticipated event this year in the cryptocurrency industry, has finally happened.Miners racing on the network to compete for freshly minted bitcoin produced the 630,000th block at 19:23 UTC on May 11, which triggered the programmed halving event, marking another milestone in the currency's 11-year history.The first block in the new 6.25-bitcoin-per-block mining cycle was mined and relayed by China-based Antpool, the fourth-largest mining pool by total computing power.Bitcoin, the world's first and largest blockchain network by market capitalization, was designed by its anonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto to reduce the rewards for mining each block by half every 210,000 blocks in order to slow down the injection of new supply to the network as time goes by.The mining reward is an economic incentive for those who contribute computing power to securing the network, as well as processing transactions on the network since no single entity functions as a central bookkeeper.

Don't found any reason to become happy due to bitcoin halving. I belive, bitcoin price is dumped due to penic sell for corona virus. Still no mejor movement being noticed. But if bitcoin get pumped after a week or month, then that's obviously good news for everyone.

Congratulations to your prediction and I have bold the part that should be realized by most now that the halving's done. They have to think that difficulty has increased as the mining reward was lessen. Less inflation as we say.

While we're still not yet to the point of the peak, accumulate and accumulate. That's what everyone has to do. Just be prepare to whatever will be the outcome within the next months of this year.

I can remember the 2016 halving and the attention that bitcoin got wasn't like this. But, yesterday was truly different. I've seen a lot of live streams on Youtube that's monitoring the last block to be mined.

There is also a newspaper that published bitcoin halving into their article. Peter Schiff twitted about bitcoin halving and greeted us.
