I want to invest some altcoin. My elder brother are suggest to me to invest ADA or XLM. But I am willing to invest in either one. Which of the following would be better to invest in?

This is a really tough one in my own case, because both are my choice and favourite coins, but since you are aiming to invest in just one, then XLM is a better one. The team are one of such that don't only care about their community but also about growth which is one of the reasons the coin keeps maintaining its growth among others. In case you change your mind, ADA is also a good one whose team are very much active.

If we see that both are equally good and good tokens, just if you want one of them, then I personally recommend it in XLM, because the XLM platform has also begun to like many at this time and has experienced mature progress.

These two coins is pretty much the same in terms of technology, in terms of circulating supply XLM has 20 billion and ADA has 25 Billion, but if you look on the long term XLM has a total supply of 50B while ADA has only 31B. If those two reaches its total supply in the market which is more valuable? I guess their TPS is the same If I am not mistaken which is 1000 TPS (Transaction per second). The price is very close too, Either of the two is good.

I like both Stellar XLM and Cardano ADA as projects and i am accumulating both as much as i can so i will suggest to hold both.
Regarding picking one from these two it is a difficult choice because there are many factors involved so you can analyse and select yourself.
Both xlm and ada are at different levels of development and as we all know xlm is much more developed, reputed and already full of use cases so i will rate it as low risk moderate profit potential asset while we know ADA is still being worked on as we talk but we know that the project is serious and already has the trust of the market and team is also good so i will rate it as moderate risk high profit potential asset for mid to long term range.

I would definitely suggest you listen to your brother and invest into both of them. I mean right now we are living in a situation where it is definitely wiser to diversify your money because one thing could always crash for any reason, in that case you would want your money to be diversified in many stuff so that if one thing crashes you will still be safe.

I would even go as further as saying that do not even just pick those two, pick probably at least 10 coins, even 20 coins if you can and put your money in all of them. That way you are putting your income at risk if one goes super high and you would be of course sad that not all your money there, but when you see one of them crash and be worthless, you will realize its awesome that you weren't all in on that.

I think Stellar (XLM) is better then ADA. I don't have any idea to ADA. But many days I will resource XLM. Many project are active under XLM. Moreover I say XLM are best choice for biggest trader.

Cardano definetely. What brings Stellar new to the crypto market? It is a fork of Ripple and claims to be more decentralized. But Cardano offers much more, such complex solution is not commonly seen around cryptocurrencies, it is developed by real scientists, so I believe that they will achieve the goals.

In my opinion ADA is a better option knowing the fact they offer a stake system for the users who want to hold their coins . But you can buy 50 percent XLM and 50 percent ADA . I think is the best deal

ADA has not grown for a long time, its price has been going down since 2017 and it left a lot of investors stranded when investing in it. XLM is a lot better than ADA, so you don't need to think. Just buying XLM is enough

If you are watching the market properly and the MCAP of ada and XLM is almost the same at this moment. That has already proven if both are very worth to invest right now. It's better to diversification our portfolios into both ADA and XLM rather than feel confused which one that we must choose it.

If you ask me for suggestions, I like both. Because both are good projects and they are doing regular development. You can invest in these projects. And when it comes to investing, you should never invest all your fund in a project. Divide your fund and invest in two or more coins. Because if your one coin fails, the other coins will recover your losses. Therefore, it is not right to invest all the funds in one coin. Now the altcoin market is seeing good changes.

I wouldn't have suggest you anyone along the list because of my previous experience with the two coins in question. Sometime last year, I made an investment xlm but wasn't able to make some good profits from the investment due to their fake volumes, although this can also be attributed to the exchange I used. ADA is somehow good for the market but won't suggest either because of their project upgrade. Nevertheless, I will advise you to face some real truth, bitcoin investment now will be great for your in the future, so, make your case and invest on Bitcoin.

Yes it is true that cryptocurrencies are volatile and unpredictable but yet over time there have been some altcoins which tend to show that they have something to offer to all and sundry, and most of these altcoins are found in top 20 or maybe top 50 in coinmarketcap and one of such altcoins are XLM and ADA. These altcoins are good in their own ways and makes sense holding them as well, however, as you desire one then I would say go for ADA; the reason is, the team of this project have been working hard to make sure they stick to their goals and objectives, this I see as something very important as there is potential for growth.

With ADA and XLM, you can be sure that they are strong cryptocurrencies and their marketcap is large. Both are good investments.
With cryptocurrencies, it's always a risk, but at least giants have a better chance of success. It's up to you, but from my point of view I would invest in XLM.

i am more familiar with xlm which is stellar lumens although i have heard ada before and i can say that the coin isnt really that bad  .   how much will be your budget boy  ?  what if you grab both of them or allocate more on xlm and the rest goes to ada   .   this picking does  not need to be hard because both coins are good

But you should definitely study them in more detail. Their technology, philosophy, plans for the future, a community of fans.

If you are willing to invest for a long term holding, you may go with XLM, they have really a good future and they already proofed themselves many time. ADA also good to invest. XLM is my pick here, infact it's one of my long term bags. XLM because some cool projects keep building on stellar blockchain, and with the help of awesome developers like LOBSTR, their wallets are unique even with exchange functions. XLM has been performing excellently since I bagged it for very long term hold, and I don't regret my decision so far.
