Ripple always seems to have a lot of momentum in general. Good for them and I sense that it helps the space overall.

It doesn't seem to translate to XRP at all though.

This is not something new and did you remember this?

Remember about be your own bank by blockchain.com and it looks like ripple has no idea how to create new development progress to create the hype. This is a sign if ripple has no innovation.

Maybe because Ripple was first designed to be used for bank transactions using blockchain technolgy. Actually, main users (not token holders) of Ripple are banks and some monetary instituations, so in order to attract more users from individuals and banks, they used the famous sentence (used almost by the majority of token projects) of "Be your own bank". Nothing special here, imo .

As I know, XRP is made to record all banking financial transactions, and it was made before bitcoin, but more well-known bitcoin.
 But until now XRP has not been applied to banks

Lol, XRP has been a bankers coins, so what do you expect? And this is not something new, so I don't think it will bring more hype to the XRP, still way below it's all-time-high. Perhaps they just wanted to sensationalised news, but I doubt crypto investors are going to bite on it.

As far as I know, XRP has been partnering with a lot of banks globally, even remittance services so I'm sure all financial records are being monitored.

I also see that they are going to be partnered with Moneygram which is well known however being centralized, still, I don't want to use ripple in the future, I will still prefer using other cryptos which are not partnered with any banks.

Ripple and NEO has became the same thing. They just talk with zero actions. They occasionally claim some partnership which actually means nothing. They stays in news making some price movement in market but are still useless for a utility token as there are no users of it. I'd call them a dead project as all they live is in speculations.

Ripple always has been a bank and a remittance company. But the irony is no one uses them. There were some partnerships and claims that Ripple would replace swift, there were some pilot transfers as well but it didn't got any momentum as the bank looks for what profits them the most. Including a traditional finance structure with a blockchain basted financial platform is not a very good idea.

Ripple users cannot be their own bank because Ripple is centralized. It controls permission on who becomes a validator, control all the rules and the company behind Ripple controls the issuance of XRP.

I reckon many people have a widespread shortage of understanding of basic concepts on the cryptospace.

So what's next? They are associated with bank transactions, partnerships, etc. That is why some of my xrp stucked up in one particular wallet that I have been using saying there is a change in ripple network platform so they won't be able to proccess any withdrawals of xrp to other wallets.  I don't get it really. But if this new platform will bring new success innovations for both network and bank then, I wish ripple will be success on this.

The Ripple is a good coin and the platform is also so as to user friendly. That's why it is adopted by worldwide maximum than other coin. Nowadays the Ripple platform is already used by many financial and banking institution across the globe. Again, if this platform is redesigned with sophisticated technology and the program hence the platform will be 100% user friendly and the demand will increase.

@Dpat. Agreed. You can tell everyone that Ripple is a good coin because it is fast and user friendly, however, you cannot tell everyone that it is decentralized. The Ripple company markets it as decentralized. They are scamming you.
