What happened:
The user with name of "Hex Crypto" is trying obviously trying to collect personal documents from users of the forum. (Defiantly for a bad/evil purpose). While we all know stealing such personal information can not be tolerated in this forum.
So, he created a self-moderated thread and asking people to fill a form where they should upload their government issued ID/Passport + selfie.
Hex never mentioned anything about any airdrop on Twitter, website and telegram. Even using google you can't find anything about such thing.
I wrote a warning message into this thread to make everyone aware and he removed me message, twice. But, I won't stop exposing such scammers so I created this thread.
Don't fall into this trap they can easily abuse your personal documents.

People on this forum are smarter than you think. They won't fall or give any their ID to worthless airdrop like that. You can notice too if the thread was made in self-moderated, it's mean there are something bad behind that airdrop.

Hey janggernaut
Hope you are right about people being smart and none gets into it
But, still I feel like I need to report such stuff. Because, I saw many people falling into such traps and even more clear traps many times. That's why I'm warning here.

A random nobody on a forum asking for your ID/passport? lol what a cheap way to steal someone's personal information.

Will second what janggernaut said, it is highly unlikely people fall for this but you never know, i've seen worse...

I've tagged the account and added a flag just in case: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=1832

@OP good find nonetheless!
