so i transferred $176 eth to my other wallet .
i used to record every transaction i make through my phone . so i have proofs to show when something bad happens , and it actually happened  Sad

after sending , i got worried because i still didn't see the money in my other wallet so i checked the blockchain record .
and DAMN , blockchain changed the ETH address .   it's just same address but everything is in lowercase letters , while  my other wallet eth address has upper case letters .

here's a screenshot of the video when i sent the eth
https://i.gyazo.com/7a3a1f4014161283356f8014a0018064.png
https://i.gyazo.com/dd2fe44f1621e7aba0cbe34491734f8f.png

as you can see , the address i entered is : 0x03448364FB28Db4b7AA2ED5896050106fe51F508

now check this blockchain record : https://www.blockchain.com/eth/tx/0xf3a544631b5fd8bb78ec75de56037a5eb75f0786e0dbec51e8420e5183104b56
it was sent to 0x03448364fb28db4b7aa2ed5896050106fe51f508
same address, just everything in lowercase letters so i lost my money !!

tldr: blockchain changed the address so i lost my money, and i have proofs that i entered a correct address.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Blockchain doesn't change your address, and this is the wrong section since you're talking about Ethereum.

https://etherscan.io/address/0x03448364fb28db4b7aa2ed5896050106fe51f508

There is no difference with lowercase/uppercase.

Ethereum addresses are displayed in HEX, so they are not case sensitive. You could capitalize or lower-case any of the letters, and the address is still the same, since A and a are the same in HEX. However, a lot of wallets do a checksum to see if the address is valid, and the capitalization is used to make this check.

Are you the owner of this private key or you are just sending to an external site (ponzi/ MLM etc?)

Not a good place to to about the eth since this section is dedicated to bitcoin discussions.
I'm not sure. But, a few months ago I saw about this malware injects and highjacks windows clipboard to change crypto addresses.

Sending the support will be the best option in this regard because the Blockchain.com has no ability to change your ether wallet address without your notice or consent. Your receiving address should be  contacted for a help, maybe something went wrong on their side and can be rectify by them. For the upper and lower case in this regard, doesn't mean a change in the address except if your   system is be compromised.

This is a new case of different incident mate, I find it very odd and interesting coz I only see a malware that attacks your computer that carries a virus created to alter the clipboard which will make the transaction to another end of user. But this one, It is new to me, this is the first time I see a case like this. Have you checked before sending? Nonetheless the transaction was confirmed in the block, Maybe it is just on the blockchain's interface? Do you check it again now?

It's the same as this question --> https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/2045/is-ethereum-wallet-address-case-sensitive

To save time and energies, it's better you talk with pdax support. since blockchain.com has only sent ethereum in the right way, to the right address.
This is the thing that you have to do first, the sender wallet doesn't have anything to do with this because it's already confirmed. Some exchange receivers wallet might delay the appearance of received balance, maybe it's a bug from them or so. State the problem to that exchange receiver since they are the provider of your wallet.

Wrong section bud, but this link might help: https://www.sitepoint.com/ethereum-internal-transactions-token-transfers/

Ask PDAX if they are supporting 'contracts' on ETH. I've had the similar problem in a different website wherein I sent from an exchange in the form of 'contracts' as described by the support and that's the reason why the balance did not appear on a particular website even though it has over 200 confirmations by the time I sent my query. Also, there is no difference in seeing uppercase or lowercase in the address for ETH since they are not case-sensitive.

yes im aware of that one . that's why all my transactions are recorded . and i always checked the address.
but this is different , it's same address, it's just blockchain changed everything to lowercase.

No ! Again check my message! There is NO difference lower / upper case!

https://etherscan.io/address/0x03448364FB28Db4b7AA2ED5896050106fe51F508
https://etherscan.io/address/0x03448364fb28db4b7aa2ed5896050106fe51f508

Check tx id is the same

There is no difference with lowercase/uppercase.

Ethereum addresses are displayed in HEX, so they are not case sensitive. You could capitalize or lower-case any of the letters, and the address is still the same, since A and a are the same in HEX. However, a lot of wallets do a checksum to see if the address is valid, and the capitalization is used to make this check.

Are you the owner of this private key or you are just sending to an external site (ponzi/ MLM etc?)

you actually dont understand sir ,
when you search the eth address, either lower case or higher case,  result is still same because you are searching the address , not the transaction id.
but try to check  this https://i.gyazo.com/065a18ab4620d9d00071116eae09ddc2.png
both address you searched will give same results, yes i agree but open those transactions .
you will see the address where the eth was sent ,
it's 0x03448364fb28db4b7aa2ed5896050106fe51f508
while the correct address is 0x03448364FB28Db4b7AA2ED5896050106fe51F508
some letters are in uppercase
