Hi everyone, you've probably heard about this: https://twitter.com/whale_alert/status/1263120977849978880
Quote from tweet:
"40 #BTC (391,055 USD) transferred from possible #Satoshi owned wallet (dormant since 2009) to unknown wallet
Source The coins in this transaction were mined in the first month of Bitcoin's existence"

Here is an article about it: https://thenextweb.com/hardfork/2020/05/20/bitcoin-satoshi-nakaboto-return-cryptocurrency-2009-moved-first-time/

Does this have any relation to Satoshi? Should we worry about this person dumping? Has this person always had access to these coins and chose to move them now or has he found them?

Thoughts please  Grin

I’m coming out of lurking to answer you.

It is not Satoshi because this block was not mined in a way that was consistent with Satoshi. This article is great at explaining why I and many believe we can get relatively close to knowing which blocks were theirs.

Also, this address is listed in a court document with Craig Wright.

As suggested in that thread, either Craig got access to the addresses he claimed were locked or the original minor called his bluff. I’m guessing it was the latter as Craig has a history of lying to convince his followers that he is Satoshi.
