While watching Youtube TV a suggestion came on all the sudden from what I have been posting about in the past month.

Bitcoin - Unmasking Satoshi Nakamoto
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfcvX0P1b5g

It is from this youtuber by the name of Barely Sociable which has done some well known videos in the past among Solving The Internet's Oldest Mystery.
They are well done videos on their production value alone.

Now this one caught my immediate attention when they began directly mentioning about the forum creator theymos and some core devs including luke-jr.
They even feature some past posts from r/bitcoin of theirs.

I dont know if these members are aware of what they had said were referenced in this video created May 11th and published on youtube or not.
It is primarily concerning censorship on here and how it was handled back in then.

I don't know if you are aware, but dkbit98 already opened a topic in Meta section: Unmasking Satoshi Nakamoto - new attack on Theymos from Bcashers. I think you can close this one.

We will probably never know who the real Satoshi is or who was.
Put yourself in his shoes and what would you do?
Have millions and millions of dollars in BTC value and come out in the public?
Media attention to the stars, journalists chasing you, people who write to you to try to have a piece of fortune, friends who look at you with a different eye, taxman who chases you for taxes ...
If I were him I would stay well hidden ...

Right after the debate on the llvestream ended barely sociable posted their own reaction to both tone vays and jimmy song while they were dissecting his video.
Both were not going to have him argue their points so he felt he had to post this video in response.

I personally don't think that Tone Vays(undecided on Jimmy Song) is the best person in the Bitcoin space to throw into a debate, but really, while the documentary is really really well done in a production perspective, it's almost low-key trying to skew the watchers to the BCH camp. Hence why I'd really won't the YouTuber that much credibility.

Speaking of YouTube , they are more or less based on hypothetical assumptions. They will not go into deeper space to research their content tbh.

There are few channels which will do core research to give out the answer.

The debate has to call from big personalities of Satoshi time, may be their colleagues if any. Wondering how we are not speaking about them as well since they could be more easy to find and link the connection with Satoshi.

apparently their names are being abused and they never said whatever it is claimed they have said. i personally haven't wasted my time watching the video but you can read the following topic from Maxwell and the discussions related to this dumb video:

Why not let satoshi take a break and enjoy the results that have been fought for namely Bitcoin.

Every year full of fairy tales, need to know satoshi is not someone, but a satoshi team, organization, so that whenever satoshi will not be known, then
Because not individuals.

The humans are curious species. With no discoveries, no revolutions could be made.

Just like how Satoshi discovered Bitcoin, people would want him discovered to unravel the mystery, for the thrill.

Sure. Zero doubt about that. It's just that people really need to realize that hunting for Satoshi's real identity literally helps no one. In fact, the masses learning about Satoshi's background might even hurt Bitcoin in the long term one way or another. Not to mention the potential repercussions that could happen to Satoshi himself/herself/themselves.
