I don’t believe Musk only holds 0.25 BTC, there’s no way he has that small a stash. If he still has any then it will be a lot more than that, he’s a very clever guy, he knew what he was doing tweeting about bitcoin

Difficult to believe that this guy will just buy that much. Trial version? It is either he doesn't own 100-500 bitcoins or he doesn't have any. Why exactly do you feel someone like Musk needs to own a considerable amount of BTC just because he is rich? He probably bought and sold BTC many times in the past and is simply talking about how much he owns currently. 3. he loves and believe in Tesla more than Bitcoin
This is pretty obvious. Do you really think that the founder of Tesla would prefer BTC over his own creation? I don’t believe Musk only holds 0.25 BTC, there’s no way he has that small a stash. If he still has any then it will be a lot more than that, he’s a very clever guy, he knew what he was doing tweeting about bitcoin He probably sold most of his stash in the past and is HODLING a small amount for now. Why does everyone think that him tweeting about BTC equates to him HODLING a large stash of BTC?

Do you guys realy think a 40$ Billion Networth Guy Hold only 0.25BTC? There are many billionaires such as Warren Buffet, who doesn't own any coins at all. What about that? There are some billionaires who have invested in Bitcoin, such as Winklevii and Michael Novogratz. There are also a few such as Buffet, who have refused to invest in Bitcoins. And then there is the third category comprised of people such as Musk, who have collected a few mBTC, just for fun.

Do you guys realy think a 40$ Billion Networth Guy Hold only 0.25BTC? I admire the way in which Elon Musk thinks and the innovative ideas he has, i really do think he is saying the truth about the amount of coins he is holding as there is no point for him to lie about his investment in BTCitcoin. The reason is he is a self made billionaire and he is not an investor, he made his billions through his inventions and he is pretty damn good at that and if he says that he just is holding 0.25 BTC just to check what is all about, i believe what he is telling. He is an individual who is planning to sell all of his possessions including his luxury mansions and wanted to rent a modest place to live. It is weird but that is Elon Musk.

Elon Musk is a Billionaire who has lots of profiting business so I would not dispute the amount of BTC he revealed he has, he might have a good quantity of other Cryptocurrencies. A rich man will surely have different currencies summing up his networth

I don't care about how much bitcoin he holds right now because that doesn't affect me at all What I concern right now is how I can make more money or bitcoin before bitcoin price increase so I can make a huge profit than before. But we don't know if he tells the truth about the amount of the bitcoin he holds now. He can hide the real bitcoin amount he holds while he can tell to the public that he only holds that amount. Let's focus on saving more bitcoin before it's too late

Two possibilities related to his statement, if he is saying the truth then he believes that he is really moving into mars sooner so he doesn't;t need bitcoin at all since it may take longer time to establish payment system on Mars.
If he is lying then he simply wants to get more bitcoin for a cheaper price, especially after this having moment.

I have doubts he is trying to accumulate more that's why trying to pull back since peoples know him as a big bitcoin whale. Or he is no more interested on bitcoin since he have made huge profits from it. He is one of world richest guy, so likely he will move some other way. Who know if he is wondering to established his own crypto-currency on the Mars

Elon as the Iron Man of our era? I think he's lying haha, maybe what he mean is he personally have just 0.25btc on his pocket but he has an organization or institution that he put millions of money for bitcoin. He is a tech guy, wise and smart so I don't think he is just looking down at bitcoin and ignoring it for many years. Even if consider the fact that he is already a billionaire, he is also a businessman that won't let this precious asset just be a stuff to regret by him in the future. He is also known for trolling twitter lol

He may not treat it as an investment, but rather an interesting experiment, so I believe that he is holding as much as he's saying. There also can be a different explanation: he told the public that he has very little not to be later named as the beginner of a bull run. A bull run is never good for PR, because there's always winners and losers there. Winners take their winnings and move on, losers become vocal haters who blame everyone involved: whales, exchanges, governments, promoters and of course rich investors.

This is what I like about Elon Musk, he's full of mysteries... Elon has shown interest in cryptocurrencies several times, so be honest, I can't believe Elon only holds a little bit of Bitcoin, he must have some Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin in his other wallet.

He was recently very critical of the US government because of the lockdown/Tesla controversy, which makes me think he'll likely hold more BTC in the future, even if it's just to make an anti-government statement. I also have doubts that he only holds 0.25 BTC, rich people like him wouldn't even bother with buying such low sums, although I frankly don't care how much he holds, and maybe he tells the truth and there's a reason for it.

I don't think Elon Musk needs to buy Bitcoin. He already has around 30 billion dollars, it's not like he's going to buy BTC to get rich like most of the people around here.
I'd even go so far as to suggest he could buy all the Bitcoin in existence if he really wanted by orchestrating a mass dump then gradually buying up the weak hands.
But he wont.

and could it be that he is trying to evade tax by revealing how much his BTC is this time while in the past he actively supports a blockchain project like the spacechain? its just not very believable when someone who had been active in cryptocurrency and how rich he is but only got 0.25BTC. NO. he doesn't need to buy bitcoin, Maybe he has to hide his BTC instead deeper than 6feet because once the government will crackdown holders, the KYC documents we have submitted will all be dug.

Elon Musk's main subject is Tesla and Spacex so I guess bitcoin isn't his business, right? Still this doesn't mean he wouldn't invest in it but 0.25? He says such numbers to gain attention of people cause they'll say: Oh such a rich guy and holds only 0.25 btc? Can you imagine? My neighbour holds more than Elon Musk and blablabla... Personally I think that he owns much more, he is a type of a person who craves technological progress and probably he would save some of his fortune in Bitcoin because this way you are a little bit on another level in management of money (banks can't touch you and you are fully responsible of your keys). Btw I won't be even surprised if he offers bitcoin hardware wallets or will implement something similar in Tesla. Then he will be real supporter of it.

And that doesnt mean he has 40$B of cash or anything he's on hold, that why it called net worth. By saying he has x amount of BTC regardless how much is it is already a bullish one. You can't expect a high profile billionaire to hold lots of bitcoin investment due to its high volatility, not unless you have a business related that buy/sell bitcoin such as cash app of jack.
